Très bonne hôte avec de très bonnes intentions. Elle est même venue nous chercher à la dernière minute à la station de train car il manquait de taxis sous un soleil brulant. Très attentionnée pour les familles et enfants. Endroit bien situé, à 15 minutes de la plage à pied, des restaurants, mercados et supermachés à proximité. Le bémol, nous dit que la piscine est fermée à notre arrivée, depuis des mois par manques de pièces, nous avions réservé cet emplacement parce qu'il y en avait une.

The apartment is very clean and in a great location. The garden area is wonderful to sit in, so private and a little sun trap. We cannot fault the apartment and would recommend it for a great stay in Albufeira. Maria is a wonderful lady who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and had everything we needed (including oranges from her own garden). We are planning to return next year and look forward to meeting you again my friend Maria. Thank you so much for making our stay in Albufeira memorable.

We had a great 5 night stay at the apartment. Maria met us as we arrived and explained everything to us. She is lovely!!. The apartment is less than 5 minutes walk to the Strip and about 15 minutes walk to the beach. Parking is available directly outside and the apartment has its own garden that leads out to the communal pool area. We found everything we needed in the apartment and it was spotlessly clean. We would definitely recommend this place. Thanks Maria.

Everything was great, exceeding our expectations

Maria’s place – Outstanding! We were welcomed as friends and hope to return in the future. The apartment has everything that travelers would need; it was spotless, well equipped and so homely, we slept well too. On the ground floor, the apartment was very secure and the garden was lovely to sit in from dawn to dusk. The shared pool area was clean and had sunshine all day – ideal to relax in. The apartment is a short walk away from plenty of good quality places to eat and local supermarkets. Also far enough away from The Strip to be quiet! Parking was free and easy. We will likely be back in 2020 as the apartment is as good if not better than many of the local hotels we have stayed in over 25 years – so please don’t book our dates in 2020! ENJOY & RELAX. Fantastic Apartment in a great location. 5 minutes walk from strip, yet very quiet location. Apartment was modern and spotlessly clean, with your own sunbeds in your own private garden, as well as sunbeds round the communal pool. Maria is a lovely lady, and was always available if we needed her for anything. Thanks for a great holiday.

Lovely apartment near enough to the hustle and bustle if thats what you like but so peaceful and quiet in the apartment and garden. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Maria is a wonderful host answering all our questions and even looked into transfer options for us. Would have no hesitation in recommending this property and hope to return again soon.

What can I say 10 out of 10, Maria the owner was wonderful from start to finish she couldn't of been more helpful, property is fab, has everything you need, great size with a lovely garden & communal pool is only a few yards away. Close walk to the strip for lively entertainment or a pleasant walk via the beach to the old town which has plenty of shops, restaurants & bars. If too tired to walk back the little train is only 3 euro's. We also walked from the old town to the Marina fabulous place with lots of excursions & more bars & restaurants, if walking not for you can jump in a tuk tuk they are up & down the streets all the time (not sure of cost). Highly recommend Albuferia & Maria's apt definitely be going back 😎

We stayed at the apartment in early September and we were lucky to have amazing weather (around 27 degrees). The apartment is modern and very clean, and looks exactly as it does in the pictures. Within the first couple of hours we felt very much at home. We cooked in the apartment every night (using either the electric hob or the outdoor grill). Note that there is no oven. There were many utensils to help us with preparing meals and this made it easy to cook a variety of dishes. Some coal was left to get us started on the outdoor grill which was kind.The absolute highlight of the apartment is the private garden area, which the apartments located above the ground floor do not have access to. This catches the sun nearly all day and it is great for sunbathing. There is also an outdoor table and chairs which we ate dinner on every night. The pool is within 10 seconds of the garden and often we found that we were the only people who used the pool, which made it feel completely private. The pool is of decent size and is deep in places. You can walk to Praia de Oura (beach) within 15 minutes and bars and restaurants reached within 10 minutes. There was a Spar and a larger supermarket located within 5 minutes of the apartment (walking). A car was by no means necessary. Maria (owner) was such a lovely woman and helped us in any way she could. We would both highly recommend couples, friends and families to come to this apartment. Amazing - thank you!
