It was definitely a great place to stay I can call it an oasis of peace. Very nice stuff, food, rooms and you should take a massage!

Superb! The location is lovely location and directly on the beach. It’s the perfect place to totally relax because it’s very quiet and peaceful. The manager has been very kind with us, she recommended some places to visit. You can tell he knows Zanzibar very well despite not being local. Love that there are free bicycles in surprisingly good shape and can be used to ride on the beach or in the nearby village. The rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful, too. I really loved our sea front room, with a stunning view. What we love most were the cleanness of every single place of the hotel and the food. There is a wide choice of local and international food. We liked pizza very much. Last but not least the seafood is very fresh. We recommend this hotel to everyone!

The staff tried their best to accommodate guests and were incredibly friendly. Hemedi and Mahmoud in the restaurant were awesome as were the staff in reception.

The manager, her way of welcoming guests and attending to them. She can only be described as ' penny pinching' and takes full advantage of the beauty of Zanzibar. The hotel is run like a 'pensioner's prison' where guests without transport are stuck with a mediocre experience of what Zanzibar has to offer with plenty of beans on toast, no class and no Swahili warmth! The fish and chips is priced at $ 50 and not a single coconut . We arrived for our honeymoon and had paid a premium for a sea view room. We arrived to a room that had a damp mould smell from the AC , holes in the mosquito net, the baggage stand collapsed on my foot (major hazard) and minimal view of the sea. The room faced the pool and restaurant. After what we've been offered while travelling around East Africa, we didn't expect this for what we paid ( close to £400). The entertainment in the evening was outdated and cringe worthy. We brought this to the manager's attention who at first disagreed with us and later looked into it. Her solution was to move us the next night to a different "sea view" room. This quickly got cancelled when the room's check out was extended therefore more awkward for us to move. Within the first few hours of being at the hotel, we requested the difference to be refunded as we had a basic room. In the end , we were lucky enough to have a car and ate in the nearby hotels which were extraordinary - the chef's at Sunshine Marine offered a 5 star menu of local and european food. Check out was as expected by the manager's attitude during our stay and was extremely hostile. Nothing was offered in compensation and the responsibility has been passed to booking.com.

The staff at reception was not very friendly (at the restaurant they were!), tours/taxi are quite expensive if you book from the hotel. Also, it is a bit annoying that they already ask in the morning what you want for dinner. Breakfast was fine, but nothing special.

The Hotel is a small Boutique Hotel with amazing Location just next to the beach. Our rooms (2) had sea View with a huge balcony. The Hotel and service was great. Breakfast with sea View was delicious. The staff was very friendly and did a great Job.

-Price per room 300 dollar!!! I think our problem was the price and the food. It’s an ok hotel but really not 4 star , but not for 300 dollar per room per night. The food is ok ish but again I selected a lot more. Same 4 star hotel for less per room per night walking distance with exceptional food so we went there all the time. Advise don’t take food included in the price ! -It’s a low budget hotel I think and we paid a lot more I don’t know why. -Beds uncomfortable, hard as stones -Our bathroom smelled like pee( was coming from outside.

the property is situated in a small bay with a private beach area that allows you to disconnect and relax. there’s a beautiful pool and the bar is always active serving cocktails, food and a large variety of small bites. the room was pristine and the amenities were replenished every time. in general there was a big attention to details. we were in full board and the meals were always fresh and delicious, same as the breakfast various and tasty every morning. almost every night there was a show after dinner to entertain us. big shout out to the impeccable staff always smiling and friendly! a huge hug to Lucia the manager that made us feel at home!

not too much choice for breakfasts half day there is low tide, so that there are plants on the beach, but the staff is cleaning it on the beach there are always very annoying locals who try to sell something

Room was very dirty and had a bad smell Room is old and needs refurbishment, specially the bathroom Drinkable water was not offered. It needs to be bought in the restaurant, which is not acceptable in this location, where tap water is not drinkable. Hotel entrance is difficult to find (even with local taxi driver) There is no employee at the reception most of the time

The restaurant has a beautiful seaview terrace. Also the beach is not bad, especially in sunset time (just lots of locals interrupting).

The facilities of room were broken such as handle of the door and window in the bathroom. Also ac didn't cool enough and fan was like a decoration :) You can not feel any wind from it. It was wrong number of reception on Booking, couldn't find the place. Thr restaurant food was OK. Because for first time my mom got food poison from beef mince and second time at dinner, food was good. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Had some issues with manager as well.

The first day we met Jamal who has a shop/local agency next to the hotel. He was super cool, trustworthy, and really made our stay so interesting and comfortable with taking us to snorkeling and other activities. Real price performance! 😊

The food was not so good.

On the beach, with pool, rooms with A/R and fan, small place for clothes, nice balcony with sidely seaview, large bathroom and shower box with warm water, hairdryer. If you like a resort life this structure is ok.
