9 of us stayed here for a bachelor party and had the best time. The place is even better in person. The house and pool/backyard were perfect for what we needed. The house was stocked with all essentials. The surrounding neighborhood has some gems (Luck Rabbit and The Lone Star Bar). We'd highly recommend it.

This property was perfect for our family trip! Beautiful outdoor space that kept the kids busy and allowed parents to relax. You’re close enough to Austin for activities, but far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay here! Highly recommend and we will return. We had an absolutely fantastic time during our stay. The place was wonderfully cozy and comfortable, exceeding our expectations. Plus, our host, Ann, was incredibly communicative and always eager to help, making our experience even more delightful.

We loved staying in this spacious, hill country home. From the moment we walked into our “Christmas retreat,” we felt comfortable and cared for by Ann. This care included placing some tasteful holiday décor about the main living area, which was certainly appreciated as it added to the festive mood of our family reunion. Although, our 10 family members filled the bedrooms at night, the generous gathering areas (large dining table, huge sectional sofa in living room, and outdoor areas) were amply utilized by the many local family and friends, who dropped by to join in our festivities. With 2 chefs in the family (and quite a few wannabe chefs), we really appreciated the layout of the large kitchen, which allowed for a number of culinary activities to go on simultaneously.
The beds were very comfortable with delightfully soft linens. The backyard provided 3 great areas for visiting, with no neighbors to complain about our laughter and music. All three fire options (indoor and outdoor fireplaces and fire ring) were utilized as well as was their large spa, which was deep, warm, and soothing. We did not use the theater room very often, as there was just too much conversing to be done, but the football fans did enjoy watching a game there on Christmas day.
Note: Over the past 10 years, we have rented 4 different houses in the Austin area for family gatherings and this was the best house by far. We hope that it will be available the next time we get together in Austin.

The home was spacious, very well appointed & contained everything we needed. The patio & pool area was gorgeous & so relaxing too! We had our family of 12 for a long weekend of celebration. The house was well equipped, very comfy, and plenty to do. Very relaxing and peaceful. Hosts are very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.!

This home is truly one of a kind. First off, it’s a beautiful home, spacious and livable, offering the privacy and space you need. Our family of 11 easily filled up the large 5 bedrooms with accompanying baths which made for a most cozy and comfortable long weekend. Now let’s talk about amenities! This home is filled with them! The most I’ve ever seen in a rental. Ann, the owner, is most gracious, helpful and accommodating. This home is by far the most well equipped, updated, clean, in every way, well maintained…you get my drift. I can’t give enough accolades to this home. Bravo to Ann and associates on a job well done. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the walks along the trails, the quiet times in our rooms, cooking together in your well equipped kitchen, the total ambience…we may be back. 🤗

This house was amazing you really only need to bring clothes because Ann provides so much! The kitchen is fully stocked with almost everything you could possibly think of all we needed was food & paper plates and bowls. We do an annual family vacation (20 + yrs) and this is by far one of the best houses we have stayed in, and as some of the kids are now teenagers and college age they enjoyed swimming and the theatre room. The smaller ones enjoyed watching Ms Rachel in the living room downstairs and I've never seen so many people excited about a cancelled boat reservation so that we could just swim at the house instead. We will definitely recommend this house to all our friends. and family and will be back ourselves. You feel like you are at a 5 star resort when you stay at this property! Thank you Ann for providing such a wonderful home and also the great communication and all the information you provided with restaurants and stores.

We had a lovely Celebration of Life for my dear nephew.
There were 15 family members staying at the house and the day of the event there were about 50 people in the house for a presentation. The house is definitely set up for cooking - every thing you need/want is there. Pool was important in temps over 100 and the air conditioning cooled us off day and night.

This house is exactly like the listing describes it! The house owners thought of everything one might need to have an amazing time! Super clean and the backyard is the spotlight!! The property is actually nicer than the photos indicate. Our entire family of 10 adults plus 1 four month old were so comfortable at this Deer Canyon ranch, we found the location perfect for attending the wedding venue and food shopping was easy. All the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The supplies of soap, shampoo, laundry supplies and kitchen dishwashing detergents were more than ample. The beautiful resort style swimming pool and fire pit were enjoyed throughly. Ann is a wonderful host and maintains her home with meticulous care and ensures you feel like it’s your own home. It’s so easy to give this property a high rating.

Ann’s home is one of the most beautiful houses I’ve had the pleasure of staying at! The main bathroom was like that at a spa and every bed was extremely comfortable. The pool has this amazing swim up bar and excellent sound system throughout the property. Our group agreed that we got the jackpot booking this property as it really seemed like we had a private resort all to ourselves! I cannot recommend this property enough and several group members have already decided to return with their families. Thank you for sharing your amazing property with us!

We had an incredible time staying at this property. House was clean and exactly as advertised. The outdoor space is great for hanging out. My family stayed here for my daughters wedding. The wedding was at Villa Antonia and we didn’t want to drive far enough to stay at a hotel. This property was amazing.. Very relaxing and served as the hair and makeup location for bridal party. Theo thumbs up.

Ann was a fabulous and responsive host with great recommendations for places to eat nearby. The house and property are beautiful. We loved the large kitchen with plenty of areas for sitting. We spent a lot time in the pool and hot tub but also enjoyed the movie room upstairs. The house was well stocked with necessities to make our stay more comfortable. We were a multigenerational group of 9 women renting this beautiful home for a Bachelorette Getaway. The home is GORGEOUS, very clean and better than it appears in the photos! The backyard with the pool/hot tub/patio and firepit is an Oasis! We were able to have a private outside yoga class one morning with plenty of room! Beds are super comfy and sheets are clean and soft. The kitchen and dining/living area are spacious and perfect for spending time together. It was warm when we were there so we did not use the fireplaces. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, pot and pans, bowls, whatever you need. The refrigerator is large and can hold a great deal of food. Gaining entry to the home was super easy with the codes which were provided. The property is very private, and no need to worry about being noisy or early quiet hours. Anne was communicative and easy to work with and able to provide many recommendations, including the excellent transportation services for our large group to/from the city of Austin, downtown and the airport are about a 45 min drive. There are grocery stores/liquor stores and restaurants nearby, even though the property is very private and a little off the beaten path. We would definitely return and we HIGHLY recommend a stay at this property, especially if you are a large group looking for private place to be together and enjoy all that the area has to offer. Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful home!

We had a great week with 10 people at the house. The house and property were well kept with plenty of room for everyone. The pool and patio were amazing and the house was clean and well stocked with dishes and appliances. Ann was amazing to work with before and during the trip. Thanks Ann!!

Exceeded our expectations. Clean, lots of space, great media room separate from the living area, 4 of the 5 bedrooms on first floor and the heated pool and hot tub were prefect for keeping the kids and adults happy. Well-appointed kitchen with spices, coffee maker and Keurig, , separate ice maker , plenty of pots, pans and gads of silverware. Perfect for making multi-family size meals. We would recommend it for any large group gathering.

The property is wonderful, is well equipped and furnished. A great place for our family getaway. When we arrived, there was a plumbing problem caused by a recent freeze. The owners were there in less than a half hour. We only lost 2 hours of water use and it was as good as new. Todd and Ann were awesome to deal with the entire time. Very responsive and helpful. Definitely would go back again.
Only minor comments are: pool is not fenced and would be bad for young kids(I do not recall the listing description mentioning that). Also, the property is huge and looks pretty, but a good chunk of it is not easily accessible. We had thought we could wander around it for fresh air and to stretch our legs. In fairness, the listing never mentioned that it was easy to walk, just what I assumed.

This was literally the most perfect place ever for our family. My wedding was the weekend after Thanksgiving, and we were able to have a wonderful thanksgiving at the long table using the large kitchen, the hot tub was a huge hit too! The outside fireplace was so cozy, and overall we just felt like it was home away from home. My wedding was at villa Antonia, and we were able to use the home as a getting ready spot for myself and the bridesmaids which saved us money on adding hours to use the venue longer, and it’s just a beautiful and even more comfortable than the getting ready space would have been at the venue. Ann was so responsive and so helpful leading up to the stay as well as while we were there. Staying here made our wedding weekend absolutely perfect. My dad loved that they had shampoo and conditioner for us to use, haha, so had to make sure to mention that too 🤣also, Ann connected us with the 14 person van that she mentions in the description, and that was perfect for our wedding transport needs, I HIGHLY recommend staying here, especially if you are getting married at Villa Antonia!

Walking in the door - WOW! The attention to detail, comfortable beds(!), amenities, and pantry items available to us and our family exceeded expectations (and Ann was GREAT to work with). Plenty of space for our group of 10, fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed for cooking and serving, amazing outdoor living area (you just HAVE to turn the floor jets on in the heated spa and the pool’s water feature - the kids loved it) and the theater kept the kids busy when they were ready to come inside from making s’mores at the fire pit. This one is definitely at the top of the “let’s go back” list!

Stayed for a long weekend bachelor party and had a great time. House had everything we could possibly need. Pool is amazing and the patio set up with the TVs and Bluetooth speakers were awesome. The host was super helpful with letting us know what the spots to hit were around the house and their additional shuttle service was very helpful for our airport pick up and drop off and going to the lake for our party boat. Would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking to be near Austin but have privacy at the same time.

If you want to visit lake Travis in Austin this is a great place that is close by and is extremely accommodating for large groups. Good space and lots of things to do in and out of the house! Also great response times from owner whenever we had questions! Definitely recommend

We celebrated our wedding here with just immediate family members, and it was perfect! The pool and hot tub make for a lovely evening swim, and the movie theater room was comfortable and fun to use. There was even a karaoke machine! This place had a huge amount of amenities (e.g. blenders, party decor, rice cooker, serving trays, pots, pans, matching stoneware dish sets, popcorn machine, etc), so I recommend asking what’s there before packing. They also had an excellent speaker system inside and outside that connected via Bluetooth. Ann was also very responsive before our stay and sent us great recommendations. Be mindful of the checkout instructions when you leave but Ann was also helpful in sending us a reminder text the night before checkout. We had a lovely time and ended up never leaving the house since it had everything you could ever want!
