Great location, plenty of room

we had such a great time on our family vacation. The home and the property was beautiful and just as described. Bonnie was so kind and great at communicating with us. We all had so much fun!

Careful…she will charge you for things you didn’t do! Not worth it, unless you want to buy insurance to protect YOURSELF.

Bonnie and the girls are great. The property is serene and beautiful. Plenty of space with a homey feel. Great swimming only 15 mins away. Will defininitley keep this place in our hearts and minds for further trips.

This property is wonderful for large families spending a long weekend together. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing, the yard offered plenty entertainment for the children (5-9yrs).. the game room area in the garage was a fun surprise for adults and kids.. kitchen offered ample space for multiple people lending a hand to prepare meals. 100% would recommend.. beds were also insanely comfortable!

Highly recommend this property. Bonnie was great to deal with and the neighborhood was lovely. The gardens, yard and house were beautiful. Deer and turkeys to watch and the river was spectacular!!

We stayed with our extended family here for a family wedding & we were beyond pleased with everything! Plenty of space for everyone to branch out & do their own thing as well as large enough areas for everyone to be together. Location is wonderful! Minutes from town yet feels like you are staying in the country. House was well stocked & prepared. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet neighborhood and the river in the backyard was so relaxing! Beautiful large yard with plenty for the little ones to do while we enjoyed a fire near the water. Bonnie was wonderful to work with & very responsive any time we needed her. It has a hot tub, fire pit, ping pong table, football table, air hockey, trampoline, and and a 10 person couch that fits us all. Highly recommended for anyone trying to have a good weekend with lots of activities.

The location of the home and exterior finishes were as advertised. The interior however, was another story. The issues we experienced were, general uncleanliness throughout. Misrepresentation of the facilities ( portable ac only in 2 bedrooms, leaving the rest of the house very uncomfortable), basement dank and so humid, it was unusable for any purpose. (the beds were actually damp), urine stained mattresses. Most windows having “shears” if window covers at all, no iron available. Bedroom cabinet door literally fell off in our hands. Black mold on ceiling in dining room. Wall light switch with no cove, liquid ant baits on kitchen counter with in reach of small hands. Broken ice maker noted within hours of arrival with a casual apology. We were also asked day of to finish drying sheets that were left in washer. Perhaps owner needs to allow more time between rentals. Bedding provided was minimal. Towards the end of our stay, the repetition of the short comings became so often that I realized I needed to photograph some of these issues. Those photos are available if needed. Because I had rented the house for a family reunion, with some members traveling over 750 miles, with my two Daughters, their Husbands and 4 Grandchildren, the joy of being together was the only thing that saved my turning around and walking out the first day. Considering the representation of “air conditioning” when there was very little, the unusable condition of the basement, and the health hazard presented by the mold, and the many other issues we encountered, I feel my family should receive some prorated refund for our stay. Enjoyed the home with all the first class amenities and the location is great...feels like you are out in the woods but only blocks from everything you need. Peaceful river full of little trout and the kids enjoyed the fishing. Huge deck was perfect gathering spot for entire family and the hot tub was a nice way to end the day. Bonnie was also a very pleasant and helpful host. This is a great place for a family gathering.

We all enjoyed staying at Bonnie’s home and would definitely book it again. Very spacious and easily fit everyone, though the 2 infants in the family were a little challenging to find a good place to sleep. All in all, a great place for a family vacation at a very reasonable price!

Bonnie is a joy to work with. The HOME had everything we could want in our stay. The river tha was perfect for wading for everyone and using our intertubes everyone had a grand time floating down a safe current.

This place is an absolute must. Beautiful home on an amazing river with all the amenities. Location is near everything and the owner is very responsive. A 5 star + review all around.

Nice open space layout of home, allowed our large group to be together without feeling like we were on top of each other. Bedrooms nice size and spread out enough for little ones to be in bed while adults hung out without feeling like we needed to be extra quiet. Hot tub was nice addition! Bonnie was a very curteous host - answered questions in a timey manner. Had a great time!

Overall, good. We were a bit surprised that there were no curtains or shades in the upstairs bedrooms. Also, the play ground equipment needed to be cleaned(which we did). The grill was pretty dirty as was the oven. (We did however use them). Overall, okay.
