We had a wonderful “long weekend” at the Woodland House. We noticed immediately that the house was close to everything (grocery stores etc) and a nice quick drive to Austin/Georgetown, but yet had that wonderful country feel. The yard - amazing. The hosts - amazing. The house - AMAZING! We cooked several meals for a few family gatherings and we had everything we needed in the kitchen - all we had to do was bring the groceries! The game room (with all the incredible options) plus the many outdoor activities kept the kids (& the adults) entertained. The space for people to gather and visit inside, on the covered patio, and by the pool was perfect. Honestly, I could not say one bad thing about this place. Our check-out day came sooner than we wanted! (Even our beds were comfortable and we slept better than ever - it’s that nice country air/peaceful setting!) Because we visited during the summer we didn’t get to use the multiple fireplaces or the firepit but we imagined how cozy that would be in the winter. We also didn’t use the provided smoker or bbq pit. Everyone admired them and we wish we had planned to use them because they were so nice. And - last but not least - the owners lived right next door and made themselves available if we needed them. We didn’t have to call on them but it was so nice knowing if we had a question or needed anything they were there to help! We would rent this lovely home again for a family gathering in a heartbeat! It was truly amazing.

Perfect for our 50th anniversary. Kids loved pool, game room, trampoline, teepee and chickens. Adults had many choices for places to sit and visit.

We rented this property for out daughter’s graduation from UT weekend. While it was a 25-30 minute drive to get to campus, what we received in value of the property and plenty of room for all to spread out and tons to do - - worth it! We have a relatively small afternoon get together to celebrate the graduation on one day and stayed 2 nights. Well equipped kitchen; pool was great; game room was a hit. Owner extremely nice and helpful.

Beautiful property with tons of activities on-site. Pool, games, hot tub - everything a group of 12 friends needs for a weekend away in Austin! Convenient driving distance to airport, downtown, and Lake Travis. Would book this spot again in a heartbeat!

We came to Austin for a wedding,and enjoyed the property with family and friends.The house has plenty of amenities to enjoy and the kitchen was set up well for cooking. Great venue, great hosts.

We had a fabulous thanksgiving at the Woodland House! This home was a perfect fit for our family of 13, which included 4 generations! The kids stayed entertained with several outdoor activities and inside with the amazing game room featuring arcade games ! The well appointed kitchen had everything needed to cook our full holiday dinner ! We would do it again in a heartbeat! Lastly, the hosts were a delight to meet and very accommodating ! Our family was blessed beyond expectations.

Best thing about this home were the owners, who were wonderful about sharing helpful details, ways to help our guests find the location and well of course it’s a large beautiful home! Plenty of room for our small wedding reception and the commons areas, and patio were spacious along with each bedroom. Closet space was plenty and we were touched by the welcome on the front gate and the basket on the dining room table. The home had everything we needed. A few minor hiccups but all was addressed fast! Thank you Katie!

The house was perfect for all of us getting together for a wedding and 5-day family gathering. Will & Katie Reeves were there to take care of our every need. The game room with pool table, ping pong, Pac Man games, etc, etc. Always something to do and a place to do it in. The pool was wonderful as was the hot tub. You feel that you are out in the country in a beautiful setting, close to everything. Great location. Perfect in every way, would not hesitate to return anytime.

This property was exactly as advertised. The home and grounds are beautiful and spacious. The setting is relaxing and peaceful. The layout is wonderful with multiple areas to gather and plenty of activities on location. The hosts were wonderful! We will definitely stay here again. Katie and Will were great hosts! The house was perfect for us. We were a group of 5 dads and 8 boys on a father/son trip and we couldn’t have asked for a better house. The play room, the billiard room, the ping pong table and the pool were great hits with the kids. Not to mention the dirt bike track they have which the kids loved and used for hiding go seek as well. The hosts were excellent and came by in the morning to ask if we needed anything and were always readily available. One of the best things was the “pay it forward” fridge and freezer they had where you can leave any unused food and drinks for the next guests. We got in late Thursday and didn’t have time to go to the grocery store but thankfully they had a full coffee offering for us to start the day. In addition they had a full compliment of spices and cooking supplies which was nice as most of my stays at VRBO’s you have to buy all that stuff and it adds up and you only use a small portion of it. As a group we had planned on doing many things in the Austin area and we found ourselves staying out most of the weekend at the house as the kids were enjoying it so much. This house was everything we could have wanted. There was so much room for a big group of people to get together. They had some free candy in the game room as well as water and coffee available for use. The homeowners were very accommodating and always available by text or call. They offer a Turo car rental option, disk golf course, dirt bike rentals, and paintball classes. We even got to feed a baby deer on the property! Highly recommend.

We had a group of 11 friends on a vacation and struggled to find a house that would fit our needs for quite some time. The pictures don't even do the property justice! The amount of outdoor space and amenities provided was exceptional. Not only was the property great, but Katie's communication and service was the best I have ever experienced! I would definitely recommend to any group traveling to the Austin area to rent this property, and will again if we find ourselves out that way!

WOW! First of all the owners Katie & Will are the best host we have ever had from VRBO. They we very helpful during our 4 day stay on their property. Their home met all of our expectations, and was perfect for our event. The home accommodated our staff, and I had nothing but complements from our guests. Everything was provided during our stay. The swimming pool was refreshing, the property is quiet and beautiful. But most of all, Bella the baby fawn was the highlight of our stay. We will hopefully be back next year. What a gorgeous home and a beautiful property! We had a family gathering to celebrate my in-law's 50th Anniversary - 6 adults and 2 kids. Katie - the host - was so thoughtful and left a card and beautiful flowers to note the special occasion. The house was HUGE - plenty of beds and room to spare - just as pictured - so many fun indoor and outdoor spaces to hang out in. There were so many fun activities - big pool with toys, ping pong, foosball, arcade games, pool table, several big TVs, Nerf guns, weights/punching bags, fire-pit, and so much more. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we prepared all our meals there or using the grill. Katie was an amazing host - greeting us on arrival and checking in periodically to make sure everything was going ok. We all had so much fun - we'd love to stay there again!

We had a wonderful time. The family had rescued a baby deer and allowed us to feed her. It was so sweet. Home was very clean. They went above and beyond for our stay.

My family had the pleasure to stay at the Woodland House and I cannot recommend it enough! The house was amazing, lots of space, each room had its own bathroom and the furniture/beds were comfortable. There was plenty of activities throughout the house for kids and adults. The hosts were also wonderful and met us upon check-in and checked-in during our stay to make sure everything was going well. We would love to stay there again, and enjoyed the memories we made.

Perfect get away! A country feel with a close city enviorment! We were able to enjoy the serenity of our surroundings, walk down the country road, swim in the pool, enjoy the birds and trees! But be able to run to the store for groceries and any other items needed! Host was amazing, greeting us upon our arrival and showing us around the home and property! Pool was a perfect addition to cool off from the Texas heat, and jacuzzi was able for the cool nights. Kids enjoyed swimming, playing ping pong, and hanging out in the large upstairs game room, while the adults enjoyed the downstairs pool table! Can say enough on how outstanding our host treated us and the availability! As well as the amazing property! Well worth the drive from Maryland!

This property is just what we needed for our family gathering. A number of us stayed at the house, and it is VERY roomy and accommodating for all of us to have our own comfy space. In addition we were able to have a family pool party with about 25 people ranging in age from 6 months to 89 years old. There was plenty of room for eating, swimming, lots of games and multiple big screen TVs for those that needed to stay up to date on the college world series! The hosts were super attentive to our needs, which we really didn't have any, since the house was already so well furnished and had everything we could have needed and more. I would recommend this to others that will be traveling to the area or locals who just need a quick get-away and want the feel of being off at a fancy resort for the weekend. Lovely people and place.

I appreciated how Katie made me feel so welcome on the weeks leading up to our weekend there. Once there I was just amazed by the property and then the house…wow! Just beautiful! The house was so clean and it was such a hot weekend and the temperature in the house was always just right. Everyone in my group all kept talking about how well they slept because the beds were so comfy. We spent the entire day Saturday in the pool which was just what we needed. I appreciate the details as well! When we drive up our hots had a sign on the gate that said “Happy Birthday Trina” and a sweet card on the table when we walked into the kitchen. I just can’t say enough about this amazing place and the best hosts! Anything we needed they were right there to help us out. There was also so much to do from playing pool to ping pong and the pool. My group and I had a wonderful weekend staying here at the rental! The house itself is huge, with lots of comfortable beds and different areas hidden away and is a ton of fun to explore. The pool was great, and offered a much needed escape from the Texas heat. Lots of space to roam around outside, and we made use of the disc golf course to walk around the whole property. Kitchen was clean and well stocked with utensils and cookware. The two grills were great to get all of our food together for the whole group, and were clean with lots of propane and charcoal. Everyone had a great weekend and there were even talks about trying to book again in the future with a different group! Thanks so much for everything!
