Microtels are exactly what we need when traveling: a comfortable and affordable place to sleep that is close to the highway. Their consistency between locations is also a plus, as we know well what to expect.

Front desk person upon sign-in was ok, not overly welcoming or helpful, but ok.
Person at desk on sign out apparently spoke no English, or appeared not to. Not even a one-word ‘please’ or ‘thank you’ or ‘come again’ and appeared very annoyed we interrupted whatever she had been doing. No eye contact, nothing, which to us was rude. Definitely not a good representative of Wyndham. NOT GOOD.
Hotel itself was ok; I didn’t realize a Microtel had smaller rooms than a regular hotel. Now I know.
One bed had a metal frame underneath, to block items from straying far under the bed. The metal framework made a buckling sound every time one of us rolled over, got out of bed. Very disturbing to sleep. Tried to explain to maintenance and front desk, they could not understand English.
Otherwise the room was ok.
I had accumulated enough points previously that I designed this stay as $0. Nothing lost, but what we gained is a bad impression of their ‘customer service.’ Will not return.

When I arrived nobody was at the window, but someone came pretty quickly. The room was small but nice. It was clean. The walls are thin so I could hear the people around me yelling and stuff. The first morning housekeeping came by. The second morning they did not & I was out of towels and needed trash removed & more coffee supplies. I called the office and they brought some toilet paper and a few packs of coffee but nothing else so that was kind of subpar. When I checked out I planned on grabbing breakfast before my 10 hour drive back home since they said breakfast would be out until 10 am.. but the lady started backing it up soon as I got there at 930am.. which again was disappointing. Overall, for the price I guess I can’t complain, you get what you pay for lol.

This hotel was not very well cleaned. The rooms look outdated. There were dead bugs along the edges of the walls. Did not give off a clean, refreshing vibe.

The young lady who checked us in was friendly and able to cover everything. We had no questions. She was Awesome!! This is our fourth or fifth time staying there and our first time with her. I hope we see her every time we stay.

Only reason for poor rating was the bed frame kept popping and making noise all night long when you moved on the bed. The mattress was very comfortable.

Do not stay here under any circumstances. Unfriendly staff, dirty and in ill repair and jacked up prices for Notre Dame game weekends. No hot water in the showers (not just our room - heard others making same complaint in the lobby) and no satisfaction whatsoever from the staff. This hotel is just riding the wave of being so close to Notre Dame and overcharging for an out of date and poorly maintained facility.

The hotel was within walking distance of a couple of restaurants and many more choices within a mile. Bed were very comfortable.

The facilities were fairly new, it would have been nice to had a hottub, better protein options (the sausage mc-muffin was kinda leatherish when warmed in the microwave) for breakfast, and more gf options.

Check in was fine. Front desk clerk was friendly and efficient as it was about 9pm. The drain was unscrewed and laying on the side of the tub. There was long hair on the bathroom floor and stuck to the sheets. Breakfast was donuts, bagels, cereal, waffle machine, juice, coffee, etc. No eggs or bacon/sausage. Convenient to the IN Turnpike and post-ND football game. LOTS of hotels all around.

I thought this hotel would be good based on the ratings, but I was disappointed. I can only assume the ratings from the past (when the hotel was newer) outweigh the current ratings. This hotel was beat, had an odd smell, made odd noises, had no ice (all machines in building broken and no offer/attempt from management to bring in ice). The lights in the room were all motion detection controlled so there was no way to leave a “night light” on. I will find another hotel in the area when I come back.

I had two 1 night stays while traveling. The hotel served the purpose, reasonably priced, right off the turnpike, gas, and dining, close by. The room was clean, however the furniture was pretty warn out, one room just worn and the other actually had pieces broken off. I light breakfast was fully stocked and ready to go at 6am. I would stay there again for a single night.

They have wall units for the heating and air and it wasn't consistent. At 2 am we're messing with it trying to get it comfortable. We had to turn it to 60 so the air conditioner would run more consistent.
We went to the ice machine on the 3 ed floor and it didn't work. We went to the ice machine in the lobby and there was a sign that said "out of order . Use the ice machine on the 3rd floor"
TV didn't work and when we called the front desk, they had no one to send

Overly chatty at the desk at checkin. I didn’t need to hear about his afternoon laying cable nor did I need to be questioned in the morning about if I was checking out while I was obviously taking bags to the car. It was very off putting. Breakfast was severely lacking. No milk and really nothing I could eat being gluten free except a spotty apple.
