We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Omaha!

The home was so well equipped with extra blankets, snacks, and indoor games for the kids. I was worried the older kids woild be bored because we were unable to enjoy being outside due the the drop in temperature while we were there, but the kids stayed in the basement, playing board games that the host provided. The home was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be staying there again.

This property is very well kept. Everything was very clean. It’s spacious with lots of special touches. The owners thought of everything. The kitchen is wee equipped. The outdoor areas have lots of space. There is plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out. The area was quiet. The owner was excellent about getting right back to us anytime we contacted them. Beautiful home on the canal. The owners have literally thought of everything you could need and provided it - and the house is beautiful down to the most plush bathroom rugs! We loved sitting on the deck and just relaxing. It was Labor Day weekend with highs of 100 and we could still sit out at 4 pm and enjoy a glass of wine and it was beautiful - so relaxing. Very spacious, new carpeting (or felt that way anyway!). Tons of extra blankets, games, coffee and creamer. Having a separate bathroom for each bedroom was wonderful too. Also great communication from the owners. We have found our place to stay in Omaha!

Everything was as advertised. My family and I stayed for a long weekend in order to visit the Omaha Zoo! It was great to have such a nice place to return to after a long day at the zoo. My kiddo enjoyed all the amenities in and outside the house. The host was super responsive and communicated well. I would recommend it to others.

This house is in a nice neighborhood and is very nice. It is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The view of the canal is beautiful. Lots of wildlife. We saw what looked like otters swimming by, cranes and many gorgeous birds. Our son saw a fox. House is exactly as pictured and super clean.

Home was lovely and worked well for our family of adults (40-70yr olds). Great location for the CWS! There were quite a number of limitations on the home however and we were asked to leave early so the next rental could check-in on time. There was no compromise between our check-out time and the new renter’s check-in time and no concession for us accommodating the request.

This home is wonderful, located in a quiet neighborhood on one of the channels of Carter Lake. Plenty of space and areas to hang out with family and friends. We recommend it.

A wonderful family weekend in Omaha staying at this beautiful, spacious and very clean home. The home is fully stocked with everything you need to function. We had a whale of a time! We would definitely stay here on our next Omaha visit!

We stayed two nights. Close to downtown Omaha. Quiet neighborhood. House as described. Fabulous toy room for wide range of ages. Great communication. Nice house books for local information. Was cold but outside looked inviting as well for summer. Would definitely stay again.

Great home for our 22 month old equipped with tons of toys, books, and games. House was very clean and 15 minute drive to Zoo.

We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. It was easy to find, very clean, and well designed. Our grand daughter loved the toys, esp the doll house. We would definitely rent this property again.

Large house in convenient location. Clean and quiet and peacefully situated right on Carter Lake. Would stay again. Sleeping arrangements in Bedroom 3 were not as convenient as we had anticipated. Clean and well furnished.

We stayed in the area for just a couple of nights, and took the kids (4 and 2) to the zoo and downtown Tacoma. Great house with lots of toys, and the back deck was a great place for dinner, too. Really happy with the stay!

We had the best time staying at this house with our two young children. The house had everything we needed and more, and the owners were hospitable and easy to work with. Easy access to the zoo, Children’s Museum, and Old Market. We enjoyed Omaha, but the amenities (and toys!) at the house made our vacation a real 10/10. Would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful home! Our family had a great time. The water levels on the lake were a little low but we found a swim beach just down the road (Wavecrest Park) that were a perfect compromise. The hosts provide everything you could possibly need! Thanks again!

The home was extremely clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The kids were in heaven with the playroom. We just wish we had known about the severe drought and how negatively it has impacted the water levels off the rental dock. There was also loud construction going on all day Next-door…not the owners fault. Close to downtown and the zoo which was the purpose of our trip. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

The house is exactly as described. We had a great time staying here while attending a concert downtown. It was an easy trip back and forth, and a nice, quiet area!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We went to Omaha zoo, the children's museum, etc and it was a short drive. The owners at the property were quick to respond to everything.

Great home that offered plenty of space for friends and family to gather yet spread apart. The only downside was that the weather was not warm enough to enjoy the water.

In reading past reviews for this property, we can relate to all of them. A family wedding brought us to Omaha and this Carter Lake property. We were in town for one week and had our daughter’s family with us. The location of this lakefront property is great with a quick 5 minute drive to downtown Omaha activities and attractions, and the home is perfect for families with kids. The downstairs playroom is great for the kiddos, and any noise from the early morning risers downstairs is not heard upstairs. We are a family that prepares all of our meals and were happy that the kitchen met our needs. The kitchen table was on the smaller side, but we enjoyed dining on the patio and in the dining room. Our only criticism here is the cabinet space for groceries was lacking and there were not enough garbage bags or paper towels for us, so add those to your grocery list if you are planning on cooking. The property owners do not allow guests for dinner, as that constitutes a “social gathering” so be aware of the rules BEFORE you book. Unfortunately, we did not expect to have family over before we booked, and because we did not have clear plans ahead of time, the owners denied our request to have the groom’s parents (the pastor and his wife) and their 2 tween granddaughters over for dinner. I respect the desire to limit guest capacity and parties, as we deal with vacation party houses in our own neighborhood, however, their communication regarding our request was a bit over the top with their past experiences and costs incurred with “social gatherings”.
