The location and the space was amazing. The host/housekeeper was excellent with very good communication making our stay very comfortable.

Amazing place, convenient location, close to the water & restaurants yet quiet at night, a nice little porch and a larger balcony so there always was some shady space outside, and very thoughtful amenities (a lot of bottled water, butter, a sweet bread, nice shampoo/conditioner/lotion/soap). We were spoiled!

Can’t think of a thing to critique. Parking was a bit crazy on weekends but that’s because it’s in old town where everyone is/wants to be!

minor things- stairs are steep to upper bedroom and ceiling slopes so you can’t stand upright in most of upstairs bedroom. shower is small and a bit awkward.

Stayed upstairs, which I recommend. You walk through the downstairs units outdoor space to access it. Clean, well appointed, convenient location. Comfortable beds. A great stay in general. Liked the vibe from both the front porch (village vibe) and the sun porch in the morning or evening (seaside vibe) Greeter/caretaker was awesome. We were really happy to be there.

These are mere nitpicks - not really problems. Everything worked out. Ever so slightly overpriced. Plenty of room for us 2, but smaller than it appears in photos. The lovely furnishings are much closer than it appears. The shower is VERY tight by US standards. Just get over it. It is fine. Have read about rip-offs for some lodging in offers I was nervous about the booking. I guess for security the renter is anonymous and vague about address location and access til close to arrival. They were communicating when I wrote, but vagueish. I was directed only to a parking lot a couple hundred meters away. I understand it now and everything turned out great. So don't worry. The slightest of chore to haul luggage.(we were on a 2 week journey. Had a lot) The sun porch is too hot to hangout on sunny days. The view while accurate is a tad oversold. You can see it when standing not really when sitting. (The front porch is great midday) Stay here for comfort, space, modern conveniences, cleanliness, good vibes and location, not the view. Gotta lean over the railing to see the fortress. Still a cool vibe there and great space overall. What you have is a bonus, but not the reason to stay here.
