Place was great, centrally located between all the little towns. A lot to do, many parks and beaches. Very clean, hot tub was great, there was a grill, beautiful flowers! Would stay here again.

This property was spotless and artfully decorated. Its location was so convenient to Saugatuck and Holland. The only thing we feel needs to be changed is the door to the garage does not lock from the inside. otherwise it was an excellent place to stay.

We came into town for a family wedding that was taking place in Holland and wanted to be close to Lake Michigan. Julianne was a wonderful host through whole stay! The rental was clean and decorated perfectly. There were bookshelves with so many interesting books for guests to look through and read. The location was an easy walk to the public access beach. Local restaurants and stores were very close. We would absolutely request to stay here again if we come back to this area.

The duplex was clean, comfortable and well equipped for the weekend stay. Julianne, the host, was available for whatever we needed and very nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was clean and well taken care of. My favorite place was the back deck. Private with mature trees. I had difficulty each morning choosing which cozy seating area I would sip my coffee in. Beds were super comfy and the furnishings were very welcoming. We would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was close to downtown Saugatuck & Douglas beach. Also, a short distance to Oval beach. The place was clean & hot tub was nice.

We loved our stay here! The beds were comfy, the deck was very nicely decorated! We reached out for an extra blanket (it is getting cold at night again) and the owner was more than gracious and brought us blankets! We would definitely stay here again!

This review is for a two night stay by three women. We absolutely loved our stay here. The backyard deck and hot tub area were so inviting, we barely wanted to do anything else. However, we did find that the location provided easy-access to both Douglas and Saugatuck and we did venture out. We would stay here again!

Nice house, great accommodations. We took advantage of the hot tub, the outdoor gas grill, full service kitchen, and the peaceful spacious deck. Loved having 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. Great location, nice walk to the lake. I would stay here again if in the area.

I had booked our stay from 8/11 - 8/14 for a Birthday weekend with 4 of my girlfriends. We were making great timing with the drive out to Saugatuck that I reached out to Julianne the host to see if it was possible to check in earlier than 4 as it was just about 2PM. She text me back and asked if it was a good time to call me. So I called her and asked how she was doing and said not all that great and that my day was about to be bad too and proceeded to tell me that the folks who had the rental the night before failed to tell her that the A.C was broken and that there is now no power to the house and the hot tub wasn't working and wouldn't be fixed until sometime during our 3-day stay. Mind you check out is at 11AM and we were calling at 2PM and were 10 minutes outside of town. She told me she would cancel my reservation and that I should contact VRBO for other arrangements. There was absolutely nothing available and FYI Saugatuck/Douglas has ZERO reception/service unless you're connected to WiFi somewhere. Not only were my calls dropping and getting the run around with VRBO we were calling for 4-5 hours until we landed on a 1 bedroom disgusting room at Best Western with a car full of things for a house that was way more expensive then our VRBO stay. So we ended up spending more money on our stay and not being able to use any of the food we had brought because we didn't have a fridge or freezer and ended up spending more money on breakfast's and lunches.. She never contacted me again to check and see if we found other arrangements. It was a complete nightmare and disgusting customer service on her part. She should have contacted me hours before when finding out the house had no power. If staying here, make sure to have a backup plan!!!

The listing states “ no pets “, so I was anticipating no pets in the surrounding area. That was not the case - lots of Cats on the grounds !

We love this little gem nestled near the lake. Immaculate and well supplied, visiting here is always such a pleasure. The hot tub is a highlight for us and the convenience of the washer and dryer on-site is an added bonus. We will be booking again!

This rental is beautifully decorated and spotless. My only disappointment was in the kitchen…..no hot pads, dish towels, or paper towels. We had to use bathroom hand towels in the kitchen . it would have been helpful to know this before hand so that we could have brought them. There was no instruction booklet so was unsure what to do with sheets, towels, and garbage. Beds were comfortable , wonderful kitchen supplies, and nice sheets and towels. Would stay here again, but would bring some of those above items from home.

The accommodations were fabulous and comfortable providing space for my young adult daughter and myself. Our hostess was gracious and available as we needed her.

Super clean location! Owner very responsive! Location just close enough to attractions and just far enough for privacy and quiet.

This is what I consider to be a perfect VRBO house. It was immaculately clean, beds are very comfortable, there is an incredible collection of art and antiques and a hot tub! Not to mention it's within walking distance from a very sweet market and the Saugatuck Brewery and only a 5 minute drive to downtown. I will definitely book again for my next Saugatuck weekend!

We loved staying here! Beds were very comfortable & kitchen was well stocked. The back deck had a great ambiance with plenty of seating for relaxing and a very new & large hot tub. Would stay here again.

We did a girls trip for the weekend and stayed with Julie. The house was spotless. There was everything you could possibly need supplied. The patio is large and private, the hot tub was so clean!!! It’s super close to downtown. We will be staying here for as long as Julie rents it out. 5 stars!!!!!

We were so close to everything, a quick bike ride or walk to Lake Michigan. Tons of wineries, shops and restaurants near by. The house was so comfortable and really unique. We loved the back yard space! The patio and the hot tub really made the stay. We are for sure planning to stay again next year!

This property was exactly as listed in the description. The rooms were a great size. Large open kitchen & living room made for a great gathering space. The back deck with hot tub was beautiful. It was so close to downtown Saugatuck and has a great little market right down the street! The property manager was very helpful and friendly. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend it.

Check in info was never given to us. We were lucky a maintenance worker was working on the unit next door to provide us with the code. He told us the owner sometimes forgets to give out that information. We were also never given any WiFi/internet info. Walking inside the unit was very clean and well laid out. The amenities and updates was nice. The location and landscaping was great. The beds however were extremely firm and uncomfortable. Those who like softer beds, take note. Halfway through our stay a construction crew worked on the unit next door. It was loud at times and at that time we were trying to get our toddler to nap. We also wanted to enjoy the hot tub and backyard area but was turned off to do so with the construction.

My husband, my young son and myself had a confirmed reservation here for 2 days after the July 4th holiday. Upon arrival at 4 pm, we had no access to our suite. When I called the owner, she said she was sorry but had double booked this location for these dates. She did apologize, however, no effort was made on her part to find us somewhere else to stay. She texted me a phone number to Vrbo that I should call and find something else. Well, they were useless and never picked up each time I called. We drove here all the way here from Chicago. Owner didn't even follow up to see if we found a place to stay. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. This was a horrible experience for us and our son.

Honestly check-in was easy, the location was really great. The owner should advertise that the hot tub is emptied in the winter. Also the owner should disclose that they live on site. The owner was super friendly and kind and understanding. We actually took a refund and stayed somewhere else for the trip, mostly because of the hot tub we had really expected to enjoy.

The property is well appointed and offers a nice stay just outside of Douglas and Saugatuck. Both bedrooms had comfortable beds. Kitchen had many items for cooking. Entire property was very clean. Hot tub is not open during the off season unfortunately. We would stay here again.

Loved the house, hot tub and bikes. Super clean and great location for the price. Douglas beach is currently closed but you can still watch the sunset from the entrance. We would definitely stay there again.
