sauna was good as was the hot tub (except for the midgies)

no clothes line outside to hang washing out . central heating not working but new system being installed the Friday we left ( would have been nice to have known this before booking ) as a result we felt the bedding was damp ,also there is no parking at this property at all , I definitely would not have booked if I’d known this in advance .

No parking on site which I knew but it would have been better to park a bit nearer.

Super clean and very comfortable. Hot tub and sauna. Our hosts were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Location was excellent for us too.

Leaving

A lovely cottage, well equipped and decorated. the beds were so comfortable and everything we needed was on hand. We particularly enjoyed spending the latter part of the evening in the hot tub. It’s very private too, none of the neighbours are particularly close.

the property is so cosy everything you need for your stay, very clean and the hot tub is just a perfect addition to the stay.

Just a little hard to get to if you don't have transport but other than that it couldn't be faulted.

Beautiful location above the river nestled by the side of the road with trees at the side and back, nice garden with pretty views where you can sit out. Cottage sleeps five comfortably. I've stayed here several times. It's warm, comfortable and a very short walk to the village of Penpont. Totally recommend.
