Le style rustique rencontre l'élégance traditionnelle dans ce confortable chalet d'inspiration "ferme". Niché sur une zone boisée douce dans une communauté pavée pittoresque à quelques minutes du centre-ville historique de Blue Ridge et de la plage publique du lac Blue Ridge @ Morganton Point Recreational Area.
Bien que la plupart des choses soient neuves, il y a plusieurs choses qui sont également consacrées avec beaucoup de charme dans cette ferme moderne. Notre maison de 3 chambres / 2 salles de bain est ornée de montagnes environnantes. La cuisine sur mesure, les fenêtres abondantes, l'intérieur en bois naturel et peint le maintiennent léger et confortable.
Promenez-vous dans notre jardin pittoresque tout en respirant l'air frais de la montagne. Le pont spacieux vous invite à vous asseoir et à vous détendre tout en dégustant votre boisson préférée.
Quartier calme .... à 8 minutes en voiture agréable au coeur du centre-ville de Blue Ridge. L'accès au lac, la rampe de mise à l'eau, la plage et les magnifiques couchers de soleil sont juste au coin de la zone récréative de Morganton Point. Toutes les routes sont pavées et permettent un accès facile. Vous pouvez profiter d'une vue saisonnière sur les montagnes environnantes et le lac lorsque vous vous promenez dans le bloc.

We only rented for one night. But it was so quiet and nice. And peaceful!!! I will be back with my husband and my other kid. But it was not far from my cousins place which was exactly what we were looking for. We will be renting again in the future

This was a cute little house located about 10 minutes from downtown blue ridge. House was toddler friendly. Host was very gracious had baby gate for the stairs and even offered to get us a hiking backpack for my daughter. She responded to my messages in a timely matter. House was clean and had everything we needed.

Beautiful flowers in the yard. I always leave a tip for the maid but this time I didn't, the towels smelled as if they had been in the washer wet to long before they were dried and the mattress pad on the bed in the master was in need of a good washing, otherwise the house was clean and comfortable.

We just returned from Blue Ridge and absolutely loved our stay at the little farmhouse! Neighborhood was quiet and house lived up to its listing. The only reason for giving check-in 4 stars was that we had to call the owner for assistance as the battery operated door lock wasn’t functioning and also we didn’t have the wi-fi password. Mary replied immediately and we had no further issues. I would definitely stay there again.

This home was very cozy and perfect for myself and my kids. My 8 year old special needs son usually doesn’t sleep through the night when we’re away from home so him sleeping the time we were there says a lot! And so this momma was able to get some rest as well! Thank you for the welcome snacks!

Our stay at “The Little Farmhouse” was exactly what our family needed. We had our 3, 9, & 13 year old with us. The beds were very comfortable. The 3 year old, who does not always do well away from home, slept really well. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The property was clean. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and using the grill. The appliances are great. Communication with the owners was always quick. The internet was super fast. Even though we didn’t get a chance to use them, they had extra items like toys, board games, a playpen, and beach chairs. The property is close to so many things to do in the area. We didn’t get to everything we wanted. I hope we have a chance to visit again.

We were in town for a softball tournament, and the farm house was less than 15 minutes away from the park - so it was super convenient. We had everything we needed, and enjoyed our stay very much! It inspired me to want to build my own little farm house. Loved how quaint it was, and my girls enjoyed having their own rooms upstairs. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Cute renovated house! It is a little small downstairs but you get used to it and then it begins to feel cozy. Beautiful back deck to sit and relax. Quiet neighborhood, and not too far from downtown activities.

Location was convenient and easy. We rolled up the kitchen runner and moved it while there as several of us kept tripping on it. Bumped my head a few times on the sloped ceilings. Felt like I had to walk around with my head ducked. Other than that, very nice place. We enjoyed being able to visit.

Omg where can I start besides the house and area was perfect itself. Then David and Mary had everything you could possibly need at their cottage for your stay, besides any extra you needed. I was there away from home on a transformation journey into forever peace and change. No better place or timing per God than the time of my stay. Thank you all from the botom of my heart in opening up your home as you normally do, but not knowing this was a life chamging moment for someone. Easy to find and get to, easy access to front door, throughout house and walk in shower. Had everything we needed. Beautiful views. The bed and bedding were some of the most comfortable we've ever slept on... and that's a lot considering we are over 80 yrs old!
The only trouble we had is that we are not "Streaming" knowledgable. We managed but couldnt find our normal regular channels such as CBS, ABC, etc. We also enjoyed the surrounding area with so much beauty everywhere.

We were four sisters/sisters-in law getting away for the weekend and picked this place based on budget and wanting something a little more cozy. All of the details were in place, very clean, just as described! One sister-in-law used the upstairs tub/shower wand, and the rest of us shared the downstairs shower. It didn't cause any issues for us. A couple of suggestions... a full length mirror would have been nice (unless we just couldn't find it), as well as having towels/wash cloths ready in the upstairs bathroom. But really, no complaints! The location was perfect for shopping and eating in Blue Ridge, about a 10 minute drive. We had excellent communication with the owner and she graciously worked with us for an earlier check in time. We would definitely stay here again if we get back to the area.

The house was super cute and cozy with nice views of the mountains. The home is definitely more of a mountain house than advertised in the photos which I was very happy about.It came very well stocked and is a little less than ten minutes from the nearest grocery store. The host responded within minutes and was very kind and helpful. The only issue was that the dishwasher isn't great, but otherwise everything was wonderful.

This charming cottage in a quiet older neighborhood proved to be a good fit for a quick fall getaway to the mountains. Perfect for a couple but would accommodate a small family as well. Convenient for roaming through the shops in Blue Ridge or the many hiking trails in the area.

This home was warm and cozy. My friend and I felt right at home immediately. There were a lot of detailed extra touches from coffee grounds to snacks set out for us that even included 2 beers and seltzers water. The decor was cozy and light and airy. The kitchen was the perfect size and had everything we needed. The beds and bed linens were very comfortable. And the setting surrounding the home was peaceful.
