Rainbow Family Retreat - Two dwellings
23 Rainbow Drive est deux logements sur le même site privé sécurisé à seulement 100 mètres du bord du lac via une voie d'accès à proximité de Oregan Drive.
La maison arrière de 4 chambres est un rêve pour les artistes avec un salon ouvert et un excellent flux intérieur / extérieur sur une grande terrasse arrière privée et ensoleillée. La maison est bien isolée et bien au chaud avec une pompe à chaleur et des panneaux chauffants muraux dans toute la maison. Un grand garage offre également une salle de jeux pour les enfants les jours humides ou froids et lorsqu'ils ont besoin de brûler de l'énergie! (Cette propriété peut accueillir 4 adultes et 4 enfants. Tous les adultes et enfants supplémentaires peuvent utiliser le chalet séparé 2bdm pour le supplément adulte / enfant).
Le chalet de 2 chambres à l'avant de la propriété est une maison séparée mignonne et confortable qui offre des options pour la famille ou les amis supplémentaires qui peuvent être invités à rester - Idéal pour les réunions de famille ou les groupes / événements sportifs.
Rainbow Point a le Dairy à proximité pour tous vos essentiels et friandises pour enfants, ainsi que le fantastique magasin de poisson et frites pour la nuit à emporter. Le restaurant Ploughmans répondra à vos soirées et tout cela n'est qu'à quelques pas.
Être si près du lac et de la passerelle Lions peut signifier qu'une promenade en ville le long du bord du lac devient une aventure régulière pour votre café du matin.
Beaucoup de stationnement hors rue pour les véhicules ou les bateaux et sécurisé derrière les portes pour cette tranquillité d'esprit.

Great stay for our small group. Plenty of room to accommodate more. Great to have the garage to store our bikes in overnight.

We (a group of 5 adults) stayed for a week while training in Taupō. The house and cottage provided loads of space and location is convenient to the lake and all Taupō has to offer. The property was clean and tidy. Everything you need for a short stay.
Earlier communication regarding linen would have been helpful. It was a bit confusing as to whether this was included in the initial payment or not.

4 of us were in Taupo for the cycling trails. The property was very suitable being spacious. It is open plan with good outdoor flow. The kitchen and bathroom were modern. The large garage was great for locking up our valuable e bikes. The only improvement is the main bathroom lacks a mirror but that’s minor. The property would be ideal for large or multiple family holidays and is well located by the lake and amenities.

This property was perfect for our needs. The main house is well set up for families with plenty of space and fully fenced for the little runaway Grandchildren.
We were able to retreat to the little bach on site to get a break!
Beds in the bach werent very comfortable. Overall would stay again for sure.

Beautiful well-kept property, with an amazing proactive host that was available for any questions and very responsive. I would highly recommend this property if you have a large group as it will accommodate easily without feeling cramped. The second house was a bonus. Thank you, Jono, for your exceptional service and property. We will be back.

Great weekend, short walking distance to lake, quiet area. Good size for group or large families. Could do with another chair in lounge, new frypan and coffee machine but apart from that very suitabke and had a very enjoyable stay.

Great place to stay. Had all you need. Place was clean and tidy inside and out. Fully fenced to keep all the little ones in. Just a short walk down to the lake. Great communication throughout the booking process. We will book again.

3 Families, 6 adults 7 kids ranging from 5-16 were comfortably accommodated here. Plenty of seating and two large tables (1 indoor 1 covered outdoor) gave a lot of options. A decent amount of indoor and outdoor space for everyone to spread out when home. Very close to the lake, township and Countdown. A great time was had. I would note though for planning, 2 of 4 sets of bunk beds would suit average to small sized teens / children only.

Having the two houses was amazing - and allowed the large group (of 3 families) space.
All amenities were great and there was plenty of space for everyone to be really comfortable (and extra bedrooms in the garage).
Excellent location (off the main "Taupo Strip") but perfect with the Countdown, Pub and Dairy just up the road.
Nice and quiet - the only noise we heard was the wind on one night when Cyclone Gabrielle passed through.
Main house cleanliness was adequate but upon our departure, I noticed when cleaning that it could've been a bit more thorough - the BBQ was a bit grim when we got there, but we cleaned it up and replaced the fat drip / tray. I think we also may have left the BBQ cooking mat there :)
Check in was a bit tricky (due to a missing email) but we got there in the end.
All in all - a great place top stay with heaps of space and everything you could possibly need!
Would highly recommend and would absolutely go back again!

Had a great stay for the week , perfect location for peace and quiet , close to supermarket and short walk to the lake . Would definitely stay here again and bring more people as there is loads of room !

A perfect house for a family holiday, with space for all ages and a big lawn for the kids to run around on. So quick to pop down to the lake for a swim or a bike ride. We had a lovely stay, thanks!

There were no hand towels or bath maths and only 1 tea towel for 7 people. We didn't get linen but were only told to bring sheets and pillowslips. Further clarification would have been better. Lucky we took our towels, but had to buy some hand towels, bath mats for both bathrooms and tea towels. Other than that we did enjoy our stay. House was warm and spacious for a big group.
