C'est notre deuxième année en VRBO et nous sommes impatients de vous rencontrer. La maison est spéciale pour de nombreuses raisons; Lisez nos critiques et écoutez les autres. Si l'intimité et le charme extérieur sont importants pour vous; Cet endroit est fait pour vous! Nous avons construit cette maison et sommes fiers des détails, jusqu'aux œuvres d'art dans chacune des 4 chambres. La chambre principale a des portes françaises qui s'ouvrent sur une terrasse qui est parfaite pour prendre du café au lever du soleil. La salle Caribou, la salle Chèvre et la salle Salmon ont des placards intégrés et des meubles anciens; réservez votre escapade en Alaska pour l'été 2020 et voyez ce que la belle vie en Alaska a à offrir.

We enjoyed this rental so much that we almost forgot we were vacationing to tour Alaska, and not just this lovely home. Very easy check in, communication with owners, well equipped and very clean. We had a warm welcome from the chickens and my daughter fell in love with the coop and gardens. Can’t wait to come back, thank you for the memories.

We had an amazing time staying at this place, the house is beautiful and really evoked the feeling of being in a cabin in the woods. It was a beautiful experience to wake up, feed the chickens and start bonfires. The owners were exceptional with all their help and their devotion to make our experience as best as possible. I would absolutely recommend everyone that has the opportunity to stay here to do so it is absolutely worth it.

Beautiful and clean home located in a woodsy property with lovely chickens and gardens. Hosts were communicative and responsive. Plenty of space for everyone in our party of adults and teens.

It's not a rental, it's a home, and it feels that way. Owner communicates well and willing to work with you to help and resolve any issues. Full working kitchen with all needed items. My daughter loved the chickens.....visited them multiple times a day, ha. 5th place we stayed at during our week in Alaska and hubby said this was hands down the best. Thanks for hosting, we appreciate y'all!

Amazing place, great for large family to use as a base in Anchorage to explore surrounding area. The outside area with large wrap around deck are a perfect spot for a peaceful coffee morning. Enjoyed our week here and Kim and Jim were very easy to work with.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the property and especially the hosts! Kim is an absolute pleasure to work with and have us so many helpful recommendations.
We had a large group of 9 and friends that came over to hang out for a bit and there was so much space for everyone to relax comfortably. The house itself is gorgeous and the location is so peaceful. I wish we would stay longer! Everything you’d need to feel at home was available.
If you have a large party and want a great place to stay, definitely book this place. You will not regret it!

We loved this home and location. It was perfect for our family of nine. It is spacious, clean, wonderfully decorated, and well stocked. The children enjoyed playing basketball and the toys that were there for them to play with. Our grandchildren LOVED the chickens! Oh the memories we took home with us. It was lovely meeting Kim! We highly recommend staying here. We are grateful for their great hospitality.

Our family of 9 truly enjoyed the house. It was well stocked, clean, Kim was easy to reach and of course, the chickens!
The grandkids enjoyed feeding the chickens and looking for fresh raspberries. It stopped raining so we could have a fire one night. You felt you were out in the country but everything you needed was just a short drive away. Only regret was that we were only able to stay 2 nights. We will definitely stay again! Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your lovely house. The mountain goats were a big hit also.

If I could rate this place 10 stars, I would! Wow! It’s better than the pictures. I traveled to Alaska with my husband, two teen kids and two Grandmas. There’s so much space here that I always had a place to relax by myself and zone out after a long day.
My Mom and the kids truly enjoyed the chickens! It was so fun watching them and taking pics and videos. Kids are still talking about it.
I’m planning my next trip to Alaska BUT it will be around the availability of this house.

Hillside Hideaway
The property is well maintained and gives you the feeling of seclusion. It was quite and relaxing. It is a great central hub for exploring Alaska. There was great communication between the property owners and our party.

Wonderful Alaskan Retreat!
What a pleasure to stay in this wonderful home with Jim and Kim as hosts. I can't say enough about how great the house is, how much we enjoyed the chickens and collecting eggs each day, experiencing the beauty and ruggedness of Alaska with all the comforts of home coming back to this house at the end of along hike or river trip and the warm welcome and assistance we always received from our hosts. A great experience for children and adults alike! We hope to be back soon and we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!

Perfect Alaskan experience
We chose to stay at this house when visiting Alaska for a wedding and could not be happier with our choice. The house has an authentic Alaskan feel to it. The property is absolutely beautifully set on private acreage. If you love nature, this is the house for you. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the chickens and collecting eggs from the coop every morning (which was optional). Also, Kim was so accommodating and understanding of special requests we had. She added a pesonal touch to an already amazing experience. Thank you Kim !

Love Alaska
This was our 2nd visit to Alaska but our 1st renting a property. We could not have asked for a better property to rent and host. The property made you feel like you were home. You never lacked for anything with added bonuses of fresh eggs and sitting by the fire pit at night. Jim & Kim thank you for sharing your home!!!

Great Alaskan Rental Experience
My wife and I stayed in this beautiful home with my adult children, two grandchildren and my 86-year old mother and it was absolutely perfect. The owners were helpful and available to answer questions. Everything was clean and comfortable and met all of our expectations. We would highly recommend this home to anyone. Our grandkids still have not stopped talking about checking the chicken coup for eggs each morning!

Excellent Alaska Experience
Our family traveled to Anch prior to a reunion cruise and stayed at Kim and family’s Home. We felt immediately immeresed back into Alaska! Originally from Anch, but 25 years since last visit....this was the perfect start to our trip! Wish we had more time at the house, but grateful for our short time. Terrific property!

We had the real pleasure of staying here for three days after a cruise/land tour. A great end to a wonderful vacation. The home was comfortable, clean and close to necessary shops but oh so quiet at night !! Great nights sitting around the fire pit. Kim and Jim are great to work with and made it a very relaxing stay! Loved it !!!!
