The host Claudio was terrific. He made sure we had everything and gave us directions to local destinations—very close to the beach and stores and malls. I highly recommend this Villa very clean.

The apartment was very spacious. The kitchen had all of the utensils necessary to cook. The balcony was very large and had views of the sea. Claudio, the host, was very friendly and extremely helpful.

Nothing

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. There are 2 apartments in the house and we were in the lower one, which has an excellent covered patio, fresh also during Sicilian summer, but the upper floor has obviously more light. The host is helpful and collaborative. Overall, an excellent stay. The house is very close to the big "Marinella" beach and to the famous "staircase of the Turks" (an impressive white cliff) but you need a car to move around. The apartment is big enough to accommodate comfortably a family of 4-5 people.

I am a fan of the Italian writer Andrea Camilleri, and I expected that Porto Empedocle, his hometown that he described under the literary name of "Vigata" was a charming Sicilian village. I was wrong: it is a rather ugly town not really interesting. Of course, this is not a fault of the house, which is in any case very well placed to visit Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples (which are worth many visits!), and the beaches in the area are beautiful. The only negative point of the house is the WiFi connection, which is quite slow and does not work everywhere, but honestly this was not a problem for our holiday.
