I had a wonderful stay at Casatierra. The house is gorgeous, it's a work of art in itself! The furniture is high quality and the details and finishing touches are beautiful and unique. It was a pleasure just to be in the house. The bed was very comfortable and, when the door and and windows were closed, it got very dark in the room - perfect for a deep sleep. The hosts were extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. They also served a delicious breakfast :) I thought the location was perfect - close to the main square but far enough to be away from the noise. It's also next to some of the best shops and cafes in town, a beautiful church, the Bioparque and the start of the stunning walk to Guane. What a spot! I would definitiely stay there again :)

There is hot water but it would go cold occasionally. It would also be nice to have side lamp next to the bed :)

Such a nice place! Very good location and a beautiful property. The room was really nice with an outdoor rain shower -- such a cool touch! The couple (and their adorable dog) were extremely nice and helpful.

I really enjoyed everything, but if I had to find something to criticize, I would say it's strange that the room had one giant bed and then two mini beds. I guess the property is mainly designed for couples and/or families travelling together, but nothing just for friends? Also, as nice as the place was, the breakfast was underwhelming and could be improved (it's basically the same breakfast you'll find in every guesthouse in Colombia...).

First and foremost, the owners - very welcoming and with great energy. The house is beautiful and decorated with great taste. You can feel the owners really dedicate themselves to it. The view from our room (upper floor) was gorgeous. Spotless and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. The location is right in town, 2 min walk from the main part.

There was no breakfast even when it was advertised.

Our stay could not have been better. Julián and Sonia are warm, energetic and interesting people who do everything possible to make their guests feel at home. The house is airy and filled with artistic touches; the room large and the bed comfortable; and the open-air bathroom unique and delightful. Breakfasts were ample and delicious. We enjoyed relaxing in the peace of the garden when we weren’t out exploring Barichara and environs.

Nothing. WiFi didn’t reach the room but was plenty strong in the common areas.
