The cottage is great, nicely decorated, very well equipped, everything you need is there, really felt like at home.

We had a lovely stay at Trout cottage. Beautiful cottage a few minutes away from shops, cafes and the beautuful beach of Filey. Really enjoyed our 2 day stay.

Trout cottage is in a great location, it's very close to the train station. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The lights in the kitchen and bathroom were fab. We loved our holiday in filey and would book trout cottage again. The landlady was extremely helpful..

A lovely little cottage in Filey. We stayed for two night here in October and very much enjoyed it, warm and comfortable. We parked on the road as the space outside was rather small. Had everything you'd need for two nights. A lovely large bathroom with bath was much appreciated after a long walk on beach with dogs.

Could do with a bigger sofa as there isn't much room for two on the current one. A small recliner would be perfect.

initially struggled to find the cottage as sat nav took as to a street behind but we found it by using the street name. On street parking nearby was free.

Lovely, clean, well equipped cottage. Everything is so near, ideal for the beach and the country park. Quite a small property but ideal for a couple. Would highly recommend it but not with small children.

Perfect little cottage. Very well cleaned and maintained.

Nothing. I was aware of the parking space a little restrictive. However that was known when I booked. Our car did fit, however out of courtesy to the neighbours we parked on the main street.

The cottage is updated to a good standard. Everything you'd need in the kitchen, ( dachshund crockery and ours was with us , cute )bathroom is big . Bed is comfortable . The area was quiet at night and so close to everything in Filey. We really liked Filey . Thank you Adrienne .

Parking the car was a little bit difficult but we managed . A big car wouldn't be able to park outside. The stairs to upstairs are really steep , didn't affect us but anyone with mobility problems, it'd be impossible !

Comfy beds and spotlessly clean.

Living space a little cramped and dark. Needed the light on at all times 8am onwards. Fridge far too small. Need curtains in the bedrooms in addition to blinds to block out light in mornings. Need to do something about the view of the wasteland at front of property. Perhaps Trout Cottage and other rental properties in that row could erect a higher fence to disguise the scrap yard.

The location, was perfect. It was spotlessly clean , and so tastefully presented. My friend and I did really like it.

Only one draw back, and it wasn't the owners fault. I should have specified I am disabled . A rail all the way upstairs, and one over the bath needed. I couldn’t get in the bath to shower.
