Very nice and helpful couple. No English at check-in but Google translate very useful. Very clean and beds comfortable

My disappointment was the difference between the write up of the room and the actual room. The description for the back room where we stayed was exactly the same as the front room which is shown in the majority of the photos. However, the back room has no balcony, no lounge, no courtyard view. I contacted the owner and told them of my concern but heard nothing back. This is a heads-up to my fellow travelers. The description does not fit the room. One of the many things that I like about booking.com is the (usually) accurate descriptions.

我于2024年1月30日至31日体验了从今治到尾道的岛波海道骑行。30日，我从今治租自行车出发，赴龟老山展望台拍摄风景，晚宿此家民宿，店主松井夫妇非常热情地接待了我。这家民宿是非常漂亮的日式建筑，被夫妻二人打理得精致、整洁，我休息得非常好，第二天充满精力地从此出发，完成了剩余60公里的骑行。 松井先生会修理自行车，帮我解决了自行车的小问题。由于1月31日下雨，松井夫妇还亲切地关照我如雨势过大，可还车改坐巴士或船前往尾道。我推荐所有旅友，尤其是体验岛波海道骑行的朋友于此住宿。祝愿松井夫妇生意兴隆，非常感谢！(PS: 此民宿的店名是狸猫的意思)

* Staff were very kind and chatty (helped us by microwaving some food we brought, cycled after us when we dropped a bike lock!) * Room was comfortable and clean (traditional style) * Got some good recommendations for places to cycle nearby

* Their website mentioned that there were coupons available for a nearby Onsen, but when we arrived and asked about them, it turned out the Onsen had been closed since COVID. * The area was kind of barren (since COVID, and perhaps because we stayed during New Year too). The only place to get food was a long walk to a convenience store / supermarket. Come prepared!
