I stayed at this property with my son, daughter-in-law, and 4 year old grandson. The property was very clean, easy to find and access, and exactly what was relayed in the listing. It was easy access to NY and the American Dream Mall, which is what our trip consisted of. Denise always responded quickly to any and all communications. Very satisfied with our stay. We would definitely stay here again if we were to head back to this area.

I was traveling to New Jersey for a concert and this Vrbo was perfect! It was close enough to NYC and NJ but also a good enough distance to be away from the crowds. The home was cozy and quiet, and a safe neighborhood overall. It was just like it was advertised. My favorite part was being able to have parking in the yard for the safety of my vehicle and belongings. Would book again if in the area!

The place was just as described, Denise was a wonderful, responsive host. She gives you all you need and more, the home is beautiful and in a peaceful neighborhood. Denise provides you with nearby things to do and we had so much available within a short drive. We would absolutely stay again, the beds are so comfy!

The stay was great.. We had no issues and the
neighborhood was safe and friendly. The apartment is the 2nd and 3rd floor and could be an issue if steps are not your thing. It was perfect for us to stay at while visiting the area. I would stay here again if in the area.

We were looking to stay outside of the city to avoid the crowds and exorbitant prices. And this house was perfect for us. Five in my family total. We had plenty of space and just a short walk to several restaurants and grocers. And Uber or bus into the city was easy. But the best part was the host, Denise was amazing. We had a couple of quick changes and she made it all happen with ease. We would stay here again in a minute. You should too.

Location was very close to I80 with easy access. Upstairs property is not elderly friendly, however place was very clean and spacious.

My family rented this apparent for about a month. Denise (the host) was excellent. Great communication and the occasional check-in to insure we had everything we need and the apartment met our expectations (which it did!). The apartment was clean and neat. Internet and location were also great. Walking distance to a couple of bars, food, laundry. While I didn’t use the apartment for access to NYC, I live close and getting into the city is easy from this location as you are 10 minutes from the GWB.

Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful stay! The property was great and we had everything we needed. The host was fantastic and provided great information for the neighborhood and visiting NYC. She was also available for any questions and provided quick answers. The neighborhood is quiet and was a great respite from our days spent in the city. Thank you, Denise, for Everything!

Good for a short trip
Overall, it’s a good place to stay for a quick trip to NJ/NY. It’s very basic, no frills. Lots of steep stairs so probably better for adults (not children or elderly).

Excellent place for first time visitors to New York!
This is first trip to New York with the family. We specifically choose to stay away from New York crowd and parking issues! If anybody wants to stay like this is ideal place. Ms. Denise, the property manager was extremely helpful, reachable anytime we needed. Her instructions were very helpful. As she mentioned, we parked our car in the Teaneck (from this property it's about 5 min drive), took bus to New York. It's about 20 min drive ($4.50/person), 42nd St and 8 Ave. My kids were happy that this was really thinking. Also, near the terminal we booked top view sightseeing bus for 48 hours and visited everywhere we need to go. Times square is just one block from bus terminal.
Regarding property, we are five people stay, was good beds were there for four and one of kid slept one air bed immediately Denise provided. My son liked the bed too. Next my wife had one suggestions that utensils need to be replaced as many of nonstick utensils (we want to make some tea) were having scratches in it (this is our suggestions). Otherwise, the price for our stay is affordable and not expensive for five people stay. By the way the massage chair was awesome, my know da were enjoyed. Finally, no issues for parking, Denise was very helpful! We are planning to stay again during Christmas time.

Noisy AC
The Host was responsive, but terse. There were window units for the AC upstairs and down stairs but they were very old and very noisy, making it difficult to sleep with them on.

Great rental’
The rental property was very clean and in a quiet, very clean neighborhood. Denise was great to work with and answered all of our questions. If your looking for a place to stay, near the city, but away from the noise, this is your place!

Amazing Valentine’s Day weekend
Denise was wonderful and so accommodating. We check in on Friday and she gave us the check in code and we were welcomed to greatness. Place was very cleanly, neat and organized. The pictures look exactly like the apartment. She was so accommodating the house didn’t have a cutting board so she went out and bought one. The jacuzzi was amazing and very relaxing. Quiet and calm neighborhood. And she even allowed us late check out will definitely be returning in the future.

Great place to do NYC
Great little apt. Had everything we needed. Easy to shoot into the city and other areas. I would suggest some TV trays perhaps for eating as there isn't a full table. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and massages chair

Last minute getaway
We decided very last minute to try and locate a property within a certain budget. Denise was wonderful. The place was quaint and charming. I have 2 teen age boys and we were able to stay comfortable. I have rented from Homeaway in the past and Denise was a terrific host. She had enough items to get us through our stay. I would recommend for 4 people up to 6 but it would be tight. Proximity to bus stations was a short walk and Denise had a lot of information regarding bus schedules etc. Denise was always within a five minute text which was great. Thanks again !

Not for seniors
Based on the steps the wobbly hand rail and getting Into the tub I did not feel safe.. one couple moved out because they we’re afraid of falling..Also the air mattress had a hole. I think a note should be put in the listing that it is not for seniors

Nice and Quiet neighborhood, close to NYC
We had a great stay, the house was exactly how it looked on the pictures. Denise was awesome she was easy to communicate with and available at all times. It was a easy drive into the city. We will be staying there again the next time we go to NYC.

Fantastic place to stay
We had issues after landing at JFK airport mainly with bus issues, but Denise was great she went above and beyond to help us, told us which bus to take, then met us and picked us up. Denise also educated us on bus schedule etc.. Denise's apartment was gorgeous, very welcoming. Made us feel right at home. Denise made herself available if we needed further help. Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful First Experience!
This was my first time renting a vacation rental. My family and i (six of us) traveled here for an annual gathering we have every year. Tired of sleeping on my family's floors and couches every year, I decided to utilize the vacation rental as a more economical and convenientiption and route than hotels for us. Denise was an absolute pleasure. she was very accommodating. The property is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. i was concerned about the neighborhood prior to arrival because there were not any outside pictures on her property profile but it was amazing. The apartment is EXACTLY as described. it was a warm and welcoming place in a quiet surburban neighborhood. I loved the upstairs bedroom because as it offered privacy for my husband and I ( it includes a massage chair!) The bathroom has a jetted large jacuzzi tub and shower with a television in it. all of the bedrooms and living room have televisions in them and the fridge has an icemaker. i love the full kitchen and was able to make my mac and cheese for the holiday function :). This property is minutes from NY and was conveniently located near every place we went to. I would not only recommend Denise's place to others, but I'd stay here again hands down. Denise even mentioned updating the place in the near future. Thanks Denise. It was a great first experience for myself and my family. Next time i will stay longer as that is my only regret.

Cozy place
Stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed its proximity to the NJ Turnpike and NJ Transit. Apartment itself was very nice, but in need of a bit of maintenance. The owner is very responsive and helpful.

Great place to stay when visiting NJ and NYC!
We recently stayed in this cute home when our family visited NYC. The space was perfect for our family of six and our dog. A few blocks from the bus line in a quiet neighborhood, it was really easy to commute straight to Port Authority just blocks from Time Square. Port Authority also has a subway in the basement to make transferring to other places easier. Now learning PA and Subway schedules is a bit tricky, but you get it down pretty well after the first day.
Denise is awesome with communication and is just a text away if you need anything. The house was clean and ready, just as described. Our kids especially loved the oversized bathtub where they could watch their cartoons right in the shower! So cool! The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen allowed us to make a few meals to save money.
We highly recommend a stay here and we will be back the next time we are planning a weekend trip to NYC!

Cute apartment
It is a really cute apartment about 30 minutes from the city. We tried taking the bus one day, but it never came, which was not common according to the other people at the bus stop. Not a big deal, we just called a Lyft. Lyft/Ubers to and from the city are between $50-$80 each way. The owner and her son are very helpful and I was able to text them any questions I had and they helped out immediately. There are window air conditioners in each room. Like others have mentioned, there are a lot of narrow steps, so if you have any restrictions, it may be too much, but for us, it was a wonderful and quiet place to lay our heads at night.

Phenomenal two week stay!
Denise was a great host. When I arrived I felt like I was being greeted by an old friend. The apartment was spotless and cozy, truly felt like home. Denise, kept in contact with me throughout the stay making sure I had everything I needed. I will definitely be booking this apartment again.

We were completely satisfied. The apartment is quiet, clean, and well maintained. It is exactly as advertised. Denise and her family were pleasant and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Bumpy start
I rented this apartment for family coming in for our daughter's wedding. I went over on the first day and was met by the owners 17 yr old son. She was away on vacation but reachable by phone.
A little bumpy start. We needed to use the air mattress, and they couldn't find it from last occupants. By that night we had a new air mattress. The beds were noisy with each movement. Just a suggestion you should have washcloths and hand towels not just bath towels.
The other problem is the circuit breaker in the basement. You couldn't use any two things in the apartment at one time without setting off the breaker. Owner should consider a separate circuit for that apartment only to eliminate always going to the basement to fix the breaker.
On the plus side the problems that arose were solved quickly and cheerfully. This apartment is in Bogota not Ridgefield Park.
I am unsure if I will use homeaway.com again.

Nice property
Property was as described in listing. It was located in a nice neighborhood. Very spacious. Only one item that could use improving was the bed on the first floor. It may be fine for a child but a little uncomfortable for adults.

Clean, cozy, quiet with easy access to NYC
My Wife and 3 adult kids were in need of a place to stay for my mother's 70th Birthday weekend celebration in New York City. My arrival time to the apartment was much later in the night than anticipated, yet the owner Denise was very acomidating and met us at the property with keys on hand and a tour of the cozy apartment. The two bedrooms were well furnished with big screen TVs and wifi. 4 stars bc the bed downstairs was not as comfortable as expected but it was ok. (may need a new mattress). Located in a nice quiet neighborhood just minutes from the city. Despite heavy traffic at the George Washington Bridge, we were still able to drive into New York City within 20 minutes from the apartment. Would definetly stay here again.

Excellent host
We are extremely happy with our stay in this beautiful cozy apartment. Denise was really helpful from the start, she was really flexible with our stay & even gave us a list of things to do in the city, how to get there, stores and restaurants that were close by and popular places to visit. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay close to NYC!
We found the apartment to be perfect for us. It was located very near the public bus so we could go into NYC from there in a quick trip. Also many restaurants and groceries nearby so the location was very convenient. The home was clean and supplied with all the necessities. Denise, the homeowner, was wonderful!! She was so accommodating and friendly it really helped us greatly! She had maps of the public transportation in our apartment, helped us navigate transportation, supplied restaurant menus... She asked for our plans and gave me specific instructions on how to get to each place we were going, including which form of transportation to use and where it was located. We probably would have been lost without her. I would definitely recommend this place to others!
