Restez sur place pour explorer la forêt avec le sentier Otter Falls adjacent. Préparez un pique-nique et faites une randonnée de 10 minutes aux chutes d'eau. Rafraîchissez et rajeunissez dans l'environnement naturel.
La nôtre est une véritable cabane en rondins offrant 2500 pieds carrés sur trois niveaux avec trois ponts pour repérer la faune.
La suite principale est idéalement situé sur le niveau principal avec un bain à remous dans le bain de maître et une douche séparée. La cuisine inspire ...... avec des comptoirs en granit et des appareils en acier inoxydable, ouverts sur la salle à manger et le salon et parfaits pour se divertir.
Le pont de la cuisine donne sur l'arrière de la propriété avec aucune autre maison dans le site. Grill votre dîner avec la commodité d'être directement sur la cuisine.
Surveillez les dindes tôt le matin pendant que vous sirotez du café fraîchement moulu sur la balançoire lorsque le soleil se lève sur les arbres ..... Notre favori personnel!
Le salon est joliment décoré dans le mobilier en cuir avec des accents de montagne. Souvenez-vous devant la cheminée à gaz avec un livre et l’un de nos «anciens», mais des goodies records. Il y a un bureau à ce niveau pour vérifier vos e-mails et travailler ... si vous devez!
Le niveau supérieur dispose de 2 chambres, avec une salle de bains. Le niveau le plus bas d'Otter Falls comprend une salle de jeux, une blanchisserie et une salle de théâtre séparée avec des chaises sonores et de théâtre surround. Our family agrees that this is the best cabin we have stayed at in this area. Beautiful secluded area and a cabin with lots of amenities for the entire family. Really enjoyed the deck and the back yard area with the fire pit Wonderful host as well. Highly recommend this cabin for your next family getaway.

We loved our time at this cabin. The amenities were very nice and we would definitely stay there again. There were just a few minor things that made it not quite a 5 star but if we could give it a 4.5 we would! We also loved the local area and hiking opportunities. It is absolutely a great place to stay with lots of things for everyone to do!

We literally felt like we were staying at Family's. They have thought of everything!
The house is decorated so beautifully. Its dog friendly which is fantastic and so close to everything. We love the Seven Devil's area. The house is nestled down in a private area over looking beauutiful preserves. Right near Otter Paws Trail, which was so convenient. Their outdoor firepit is one of the best I have ever seen.
Susan, as your host is so attentive and caring! If you are looking for a family retreat I would highly suggest this property!!!

This is a wonderful house, exactly like the pics and descriptions.
The backyard hiking trail to Otter Falls is a perfect way to start the morning.
This is the best outfitted and labeled house we have stayed in. . .each kitchen cabinet and each light switch is clearly labeled so there is no fumbling around.
There are three different porches to hang out on, and to watch the deer and fox wander by.
We can't wait to come back next year!

This cabin is absolutely as advertised and detailed by the multiple reviews I read prior to our stay. The cabin is highly amenitized with hot tub, game room, theater room and three levels of overall space (2,500 SF) that made all our time there quite enjoyable. As well being right near the trails to Otter Falls gave us a built in adventure we didn't have to travel to. My three sons and wife thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we would like to come again.
I love the area as well up the mountain in Seven Devils, you are both remote from other nearby residences while also close enough to other homes/communities that you feel safe with the location, you have privacy here but are not out in the sticks so to speak.
Great stay and would recommend to anyone.

We had such a great time staying here for a week. Well stocked with everything we needed. Loved the front porch with plenty of seating and such a nice breeze The children loved looking at all the wildlife and catching salamanders.

My family of 4 (me, husband, 14 yo daughter, 10 yo son) truly enjoyed this house! The location on the Otter Falls hiking trail was perfect-you walk right out the back door and in a few minutes you are dipping your toes into the cool water of Otter Falls! The games, pool table, theater room, hot tub all made for fun nights after our long days exploring. Would definitely recommend this house!!

The Family Fun Cabin was perfect! My family and I had an amazing time. Our 3 children are young adults now and we all enjoyed our vacation. We were able to do it all...Skiing, snow tubing, shopping, antiquing, restaurants etc... We especially enjoyed the beautiful Otter Falls and hiking around the property. We were close to Boone as well as Hawksnest , Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. The house was the perfect size for us and the game room and theater room were our favorite spots to hang out together. The weather was on the warm side especially for January so we missed seeing snow. However, we were able to enjoy a night by the firepit. The home was well stocked and had everything we needed for a great vacation and great memories.

Compared to other homes we have stayed in, this property had more amenities and was well stocked for cooking meals at home. The property was well lit and quiet. It had very easy access to a moderate level hiking trail. It was very well maintained and kept, even with allowing pets on the property. The owner had excellent care directions and set clear expectations for check in and out.

This property offers so much. The house is in an excellent location on Seven Devils. The Otter Falls is just down the path and is an easy hike to do daily. The house itself is cozy and easy to just want to hang out in. Love the fire pit, game room and the theater room downstairs. Not having a TV in the main den encourages being a family group by the fireplace.

Immaculate upon arrival. Only thing we had issue with was some of the 'smart' appliances. Old school here. Not into the fancy coffee maker nor thermostat. But we would def stay there again. BEAUTIFUL CABIN AND LOCATION! 100 STARS!

Wonderful cabin. Clean. Kitchen well stocked. Great location. Loved the waterfall nearby. Appreciate that it was pet friendly. Nice getaway for our family to unplug and enjoy nature and time together.

This cabin is amazing
Everything about the cabin is thoughtful, from the motion-activated lights near the porch to keep you from tripping in the dark, to the heaters in the bedrooms for the cold winter months. The theater room makes for the perfect movie night, and between the pool table and the foosball table there's plenty to do in the game room. People come to Seven Devils from all over the area to hike to Otter Falls, but for you the hiking trail is just steps from your back yard. The cabin is also the perfect mix of seclusion and location, where you're only a few minutes away from grocery stores and restaurants but your neighbors aren't right on top of you. Our stay was amazing and I can't say enough wonderful things about this cabin.

Excellent Location. Beautiful Property.
I would first like to say the pictures listed for this property does not do it justice. The house was beautiful. In the perfect location to surrounding areas and mountain ski resorts. The first morning we were there, 6 deer passes through the front yard and walked into the trees. Amazing! The house was very much accommodating to all of our needs. I have an 8 y/o and a 3 y/o and the bottom floor/game/theater area was perfect! My kids were entertained the entire time we were there. The house did come with a karaoke system but we were unable to get it to work. No problem at all though we had an amazing time!

Perfect Getaway in the Mountains
This cabin was everything we were looking for in a rental - close to everything but far enough away to relax and enjoy the outdoors in peace, game area, full kitchen and comfy beds! And let’s not forget about pet friendly! We were beyond impressed with the place and will definitely keep this as one of our favorites for future visits in the mountains.

Mountain Getaway
We had a terrific week in the mountains.
Beds are comfy, kitchen is well-stocked and outdoor spaces are really great. Lots of nearby activities (hiking on Grandfather mountain and to Hebron Falls, zip lining at Hawks Nest, kayaking at Price Lake) left us wishing for more days, just to relax in this lovely home. And for those who may still need to work while away, we had no problems at all with the internet connection.

Great location and great experience
First impressions are important, and our first impression of the cabin was a very positive one. The cabin was as expected from the listing, and very clean as well.
The cabin is just off the road so you occasionally get a little road noise, but very little. The cabin is located on a roughed-in cul-de-sac, but is the only property built so it is quite private from that perspective. There is a trail immediately behind the property that leads down to Otter Falls, with the other end being a parking area for the public. You will see and hear groups of people hiking down the trail to the Falls throughout the day but they are far enough way, and the trail is mostly obscured by trees and shrubs, so again it is still private.
One of the cabin features we really enjoyed was the hot tub. It is a full-sized hot tub and very comfortable. Also, this is the first hot tub at a cabin I’ve rented that will come up to full temperature when you set it there. Very nice!
The bedrooms were all comfortable and clean. I slept as well as I would have back home. The main floor living area was a very nice open area and quite comfortable as well. One bonus was that it did not have a TV in the living room. That made that space a quite gathering place where you could just sit and read or otherwise relax.
Downstairs are the “fun” rooms. A very spacious game room with full size pool table and a very nice bar with mini fridge as well. The other downstairs room is the home theater room with very comfortable couches, dimmable lights, and a very nice wall-mounted TV and sound system.
The cabin is located close to many activities. Just down the mountain you are close to restaurants and tourist attractions. I recommend dropping into Grandview Restaurant for brunch, and Grandfather Vineyard and Winery for a wine tasting; both are within a mile of the turn to the neighborhood. Also close is a Food Lion and the town of Banner Elk. Grandfather Mountain is a modest drive but well worth it.

Could not have asked for a better venue; true cabin in the mountains, beautifully decorated with cabin decor and furnishings; had amenities for young and old, including a jacuzzi, tv room, pool table, foosball, two decks overlooking back yard, deer, chipmunks, front porch with swing and rockers, peaceful and quiet. Otter Falls within walking distance, and other rock and water activities within easy driving distance. Plenty of a variety of places to eat within easy driving but we cooked most meals in the well equipped and spacious kitchen.

Wonderful!
This was our second time renting the Otter Falls cabin, so we anticipated a lovely stay. The experience met every anticipation, and then some! The cabin is amazing, comfortable and idyllic. Susan is a gracious and kind host. It was a much needed break for our family.

This cabin is amazing. This was our second stay here with our boys, aged between 4-15 and it was just as magical as our last stay 3 years ago. The location is perfect. It’s a beautiful short walk to otter falls and a short drive to anything you could possibly want to do in the area. The owners are always reachable and so helpful. One thing I will say is that they recommend 4 wheel drive in the winter and we learned first hand, this stay, how important that is. I cannot recommend this cabin enough. It is absolutely perfect for any occasion.
