Beautiful well maintained property. Decorated for Christmas. Steam shower was out of this world. Very close to downtown. Easy walk. Friendly property manager. Will stay here again.

Everything was great

This was our second year staying here for Thanksgiving and we plan to be back next year. Perfect location, clean, well-appointed, great hosts. The wonderful extras like the steam shower, fireplace, and outdoor patio with chiminea make this cozy apartment exactly what is needed to relax and just get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday demands. Thank you Jeffrey and Chad for being wonderful hosts and allowing our dog to accompany us too!

This spot is a complete gem! Perfect for a couple who wants to get away in the quiet (but lots to do town) of Jim Thorpe. An easy walk to all of downtown, and a quick drive to the hiking/biking/water sports spots. The service from the owners was fantastic, and its clear they care very much about both the property and their town.

What a pleasant surprise this property was! Absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Loved the spa bathroom. Every room was so spacious. We only stayed one night, but we love Jim Thorpe, and will be back for a long weekend get away soon!

Absolutely loved this location. My boyfriend and I stayed for a quick over night. The patio and sauna were our favorite amenities but the entire apartment design and aesthetic is even better in person! I would highly recommend this stay for a couple. Super fun and we will be booking again(:

This house was fantastic! Greeted by the property manager upon arrival, the check in process was simple. The apartment was beautiful and spotless. Gorgeous bathroom, heated floors , and a sauna, perfect for a weekend getaway in the winter. We enjoyed everything and would return again.

Beautiful tucked away and private apartment. The amenities were amazing (my husband LOVED the steam shower), and the apartment was comfortable/cozy yet modern. Wish it was a little warmer so we could have enjoyed the awesome deck and fire pits. Private trails are a nice way to get outside without going on a big excursion. The best part was Jeffrey and Chad. Always accessible, responsive and very knowledgeable of the area with great suggestions. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed 3 days and it was amazing! The cabin- like apartment was perfectly cozy. We walked from there into town to explore, eat out and walk along the river. We were 30 minutes from blue mountain where we spent a day snowboarding and then loved the built in sauna afterwards. A Movie and Breakfast in front of the little gas fireplace was perfect as well. We ventured 45 minutes to check out Bethlehem for a couple massage (the local massage studio was temporarily closed), which was another beautiful little town to experience for a day trip. Chad and Jeffrey were incredibly helpful and kind. The accommodation was perfectly clean with lovely little touches. I would definitely come back to see Jim Thorpe spring other seasons and stay here!

I absolutely loved this place! Cute, cozy, unique, rustic, and homie..home... Chad the property manager is great, friendly and helpful... I will definitely be staying here again !! I had my dog with me as well , it was great for him as well.. Great outdoor deck area he got to enjoy and loved it !!! The town is so beautiful and friendly , all the shops and different place to eat were amazing as well .. I loved waking up to it being nice and quite outside , was soothing hearing the church bells ring .. I Highly recommend this property !!

I lost my husband the beginning of November. I wanted a quiet retreat to come to grips with what has occurred. The High Street management treated me with the greatest respect and showed such compassion for what I was going through. My apartment was perfect for what I needed, was very clean and orderly, and anything I could possibly want all It took was a phone call to the management and I received it. I will be coming here again hopefully with my daughters as a retreat in the near future. I highly recommend High Street Guest House as a perfect place to unwind and further enjoy this rich little community.

This was our first stay in Jim Thorpe and we absolutely loved it. It started with detailed information about the town and apartment from Jeffrey. The apartment was very welcoming with warm lighting and the fireplace left on for us upon arrival. It was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The sauna was such a nice luxury after walking all over town in the cold and we enjoyed a nice fire on the patio. The location is perfect. We will definitely be back.

LOVED this spot! Everything was just perfect! And LOVED the Spa Shower/Sauna! And heated floor!! Jeff & his Innkeeper Chad are THE BEST!

The place was great and the amenities were wonderful. My wife and I came up to take the bike train and a 25 mile ride, not realizing there would be rain. Having a washer and dryer was a real bonus after the ride being soaking wet. The fireplace was the best spot to rest and recover after the ride. We look forward to making the trip again - without the day of rain this time.

It was our first time to Jim Thorpe and it was a great location and very relaxing to spend a weekend together celebrating our anniversary. Chad and Jeff were great!

This is just what we needed to unwind. Walkng distance to downtown activities, awesome sauna bathroom, rustic decor and quiet.

I can not say enough wonderful things about this property and the host. The outside area is adorable and perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The steam shower is everything, and the heated floor in the bathroom is fantastic! You can easily walk to all the attractions/restaurants in town. Jeffrey was quick to respond to any questions we had and gives so much great information on the town. We will definitely be staying at this, or any of his other properties again!

The only thing I regret is not staying longer!! Chad is awesome! We love High Street so much that we started planning our return before we even left!!

Our second stay in this roomy one bedroom apt. Great location, nice bathroom ( haven’t used sauna yet), inside fireplace, outside deck is perfect and they added a new section with a chiminea. We will be back.

Very pleased , looks exactly as advertised. Location is good , you can walk to almost everything from the house . Having parking is a plus ! There was coffee for us to use , and kitchen seemed well equipped. Enjoyed the steam shower , heated bathroom floors , the patio was roomy and had plenty of chairs to relax on . Would stay again .
