Fantastic experience What a wonderfull very special lodge.

One night was to short.

The place is a dream. You are in the middle of nowhere with everything you need to have a perfect stay. The view from the room desk to the river is terrific. Rooms are woden and glass made with mosquito ned so we can stay with windows open. The meals were good and offered a good amount of diferent food. The trip along the river will be always in my mind as a privilege memory.

Not all the staff was friendly

Rooms are spacious, view from balcony to river and Angola. Food is of High quality. Freshly baked bread in the morning, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cheese, salami, and bacon egg after your choise. Evening 3 meal course is served at the table. We attended the river Cruise and had a nice sundowner with a view to hippos. Loved it all

Impressive location on the banks of the Kavango river. Beautiful architecture, good food and very friendly people. The village tour was great, also the sunset cruise.

Everything was truly outstanding! The lodge itself is very spacious, private with an amazing view on the river! The private Terrasse was great to spend an relaxed afternoon after an early game drive. The food was also outstanding: from the breakfast, to lunch and the 3-course dinner, every meal was a highlight and of extremely high quality! And finally the staff: unbelievably friendly and helpful. Overall, Riverdance Lodge exceeded our expectations by far! Also because of the great community work they’re doing in the surrounding villages (e.g.; building Kindergartens, etc). I can more than recommend anyone to stay in this little piece of paradise!

Fantastic room/chalet with a large balcony and beautiful views on the Kavango River. Great setting. Afternoon coffee with a freshly baked cake. Plenty of activities possible - I would recommend a morning drive with a bush breakfast and the sundowner boat trip to watch hippos and crocodiles. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Dinner was good but not spectacular (looking at the price tag).

Fantastic place jute beside the Okawango. The room has a terrasse with a view on the river. Very well decorated. Very good breakfast and dinner, in the romantic restaurant. The cruise on the river, organized by the lodge, was unforgettable.

The setting is stunning and the rooms are absolutely incredible with the private deck overlooking the river and bathroom with views of the river. Just outstanding.

Once again a wonderful stay in Namibia. As we took the risk of travelling during the coronacrisis most of the time we were the only guests in the lodges we stayed in. Sad for them but oh so special for us. We were treated like kings everywhere whe stayed. The room was very special. Separate bedroom and bathroom. And what a bathroom it was!!!!! Shower and bath on a wooden soil with view on the river. The walls, looking over the river, were completely in glass, not that someone can see you, or it has to be a croc. Magnificient. Food was more than OK and staff was very helpful with everything. We made a wonderful boat trip on the river with a picnic on a sandbank.

Nothing. Or it has to be the free wifi that was not very strong but that's a detail. Just think about it that there's not much to see or do in the neighbourhood of the lodge. But that's no critic.

I would recommend anyone to treat themselves to a stay at Riverdance. The accommodation is exceptional: beautifully designed modern private cabins with a deck overlooking the river, and a very special bathroom with a river view as well. The breakfast is is divine (I strongly recommend the freshly baked brown bread every morning and the ham is to die for). Dinner is better than at many top restaurants, and the atmosphere created on the lounge deck overlooking the river with the nightly fire burning is Africa at its best . We partook in two activities on offer: the river cruise and a game drive in their open game vehicle and found both outings more than worthwhile. The hosts are extremely attentve and go the extra mile in every possible way. We also appreciated the fact that the owners seem to care deeply for the community around them and are nvolved in a number of outreach projects.

very quiet and peaceful the staff was amazing and the food was delicious, especially the beef for dinner.. I have never had such a juicy peace of beef in a million years.
