A nice bungalow, good size kitchen and lounge. Well equipped but some tired areas, overall comfortable. The garden was big but open to the street one side so not so suitable for our dog. Great location, close to town, harbour, coastal path and a good base for exploring Cornwall

Great position, ideal two parking spaces but the shower is very small and as for dog friendly the garden is not fenced off. Our dog is very happily to stay close but others may want to wander off so unable to recommend as pet safe. Otherwise the property although dated furniture was very adequate for the money.

wonderful stay here, easy booking, nice and clean, so much to explore within half hours drive and quick walk to the beautiful harbour. Dogs also loved their holiday.

Bungalow was spotless clean, home from home and a quiet location just a couple of minutes walk down to Porthleven!! if I was being picky I would say it’s a shame the garden was not secure for our dog and the shower is a little small but overall I am very happy with my stay and would certainly book again 😊

Really enjoyed our stay in porthleven. The cottage was in the perfect location to visit lots of places around Cornwall. The cottage needs some work on it and modernising. There was a really bad smell that hit us as soon as we opened the door it was a musty smell but quite strong and the small bedroom was really strong, our daughters were going to have separate rooms but the room smelt so bad they had to sleep together. People have commented on the shower saying it’s small but the shower was excellent..

Good location very well equipped for two of us. It suited us as we don’t care what it looked like interior but wouldn’t suit others. Shower size needs putting on details in large writing as anyone bigger than a 14 possibly wouldn’t fit in it and would surely be disappointed when they got there not to be able to have a shower! Small things need attention ie toilet brush especially covid times but very adequate for our holiday and especially price so no complaints from us at all really. Shame for us garden wasn’t enclosed as dog always had to be on lead but we knew that. Aldo the bungalow came up when we needed it 3 weeks before our trip to see friends so am grateful. Thank you. Also the house keeper came out to sort complicated tv system on a Saturday evening again our thanks. Mandy

This property has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including lovely bedding, lots of space and a beautiful garden.

easy process. property was lovely. Needs a little modernisation and a touch of paint but location was excellent. 5mins to the port and local shops. 10mins to the lovely beech and 15 mins to one of the best walks a top of harbour... just loved the whole town and some great eateries. Reccomend Porthleven highly. some. Of the nest sceneries nearby .

Nice house , and lovely outdoor space for eating or relaxing. Well equipped, including a washing machine. Good location only a few minutes from lovely Porthleven which has some great pubs and restaurants including the award winning Kota Kai. Fantastic value for money accomodation. Highly recommended.

We had another fantastic week in the bungalow, lovely location, short walk to portleven, Well equipped with even a dishwasher, and washing machine.with Such a Lovely garden. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely quiet bungalow with a easy walk to Porthleven harbour. It’s our 3rd visit and booked for next year already.

Great location 5 mins max from the really pretty harbour. Spacious bungalow that fitted our needs perfectly. Location perfect for exploring an area where a week is not enough. Already planning another visit. Great sized garden, only draw back is that the garden is not secure it was fine for our dog as he stays close but could be a risk for others/children. Saying that it is not a busy road and it would not stop us booking to go again.

Really enjoyed yet another visit to Methleigh Parc. Very clean and comfortable. We always feel very much at home in your bungalow. Thank you once again.

Positives: We appreciated that the bungalow was well equipped and the shower room was newly fitted. Lounge and kitchen breakfast rooms are spacious and light. Porthleven is pleasant and in a convenient location for exploring the Lizard and Land's End. We could easily walk into town from the bungalow for shopping and sightseeing. Negatives: The bedrooms are all small. No wall mirrors apart from one bedroom. Could have done with one near a power socket for doing hair and makeup. Shower room is very small 6 ft square minus 3 ft shower cubicle. Separate loo has no hand basin. Lounge has an unpleasant doggy odour.

Exceedingly bad and the poorest equipped holiday cottage ever stayed in. A refund is being sought from the owner/yourselves.

This place ticked all the boxes for us. Warm, clean, tidy. Everything we could have needed (or wanted) was there (although we didn't manage to find a pizza cutter) Lovely, lovely bungalow (yes I meant to put lovely twice) Would have been quite happy to spend the whole week in bed (never slept in a bed so comfy) Beautiful garden, very well maintained (as was the property) We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed exploring locally, some good walks in all directions. Didn't bother using the car much at all. I think this will be a regular visit for us in the future!!!

Property was bright and airy...lovely garden and luxury white linen and towels. Would recommend this property for a central location.

Tara is a wonderfully situated bungalow, a quiet walk down to the harbour and choice of beaches, supported very well by RNLI lifeguards. It is close, within an average 20/25 miles to most towns and attractions. The bungalow itself is very well equipped for all family needs and a lovely size for youngsters to play. We were two families; grandparents, daughter, son in law, 4 1/2 year old and 7 month old baby but we didn’t feel once on top of each other. We have had a fabulous fortnight. Thank you Nick and Gill for allowing us to stay in your wonderful family home.

We had a lovely week at the bungalow, what a lovely place, quiet well equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher,the garden was lovely, and close to the harbour and beach, and a great location for vistinging the lizard. We will definitely be returning. Many Thanks.

Porthleven is a beautiful little port, right on the coastal path, and perfectly located for exploring the area. The bungalow was very comfortable for a family of four plus dog. Spotlessly clean, great garden, powerful broadband, excellent kitchen/diner and living room, fabulous sun-loungers.. very peaceful area, just five minutes walk from harbour and shops. We had a wonderful holiday, our first time in Cornwall..we absolutely loved Porthleven, everyone so friendly.. hope to return again one day!

A lovely spacious bungalow in easy walking distance of Porthleven harbour with a large garden. I gave 3 stars because the bathroom is tiny and would be suitable for families with young children as there is only a shower and barely room for a parent and child. The shower is very small as well so not for the larger person. We took 2 dogs and the garden is open to the road in front of the property so not secure for the dogs or for young children without supervision. Apart from this the bungalow was well equipped and comfortable.

We have stayed at this property at least twice and can recommend it very highly. There is loads of space and everything is of good quality and very clean. A real home for home. Porthleven is a great centre for touring in the Lizard area.

this is the second year we have stayed at this property. it is clean and tidy and easy access to the harbour and centre of Porthleven, a beautiful little fishing town on the Lizard peninsular. the décor in the property is a little tired but still comfortable.

Very clean, very comfortable and lots of space. This was our second visit and hopefully we will return again. It was pleasing to see the refurbished bathroom and toilet, thank you. We also enjoyed some of the apples from the trees in the garden! We both love Porthleven and the Lizard peninsula.
