The host was absolutely fantastic he went the extra mile to make our stay very special!

We stayed there as a family of 6 and absolutely loved the place. The view is exceptional especially during sunrise hours. The villa itself is secluded and as we were looking for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature this was absolutely perfect for us. The villa is spacious and very well kept, they cleaned it for us everyday which we appreciated greatly. The host, Zainol is especially welcoming and friendly, who took his time to drive us around to get familiar with the area and also showed us around his luscious garden. Unfortunately we only booked for a few days so we didn’t have enough time to go visit the nearby islands with him, however we’re hoping to do that the next time we go to Langkawi.

The villas are located on top of a steep hill so there are a few stairs to go around, and the villas are a few minutes away from the Pantai Cenang beach area. We decided to rent motorbikes from down the street for 35 MYR/day each to explore the area which was an amazing experience.

Quiet place which is good for healing. The owner is friendly and nice. Recommended.

Breakfast and picnic lunch were excellent. The owner went out of his way to provide authentic local food for particular dietary requirements. He drove us round to show us the local amenities & restaurants and even took us on a private boat trip around the islands, visiting and learning about exclusive parts of Langkawi - the highlight of the stay.

Showers were in need of a little updating and accommodation was becoming worn but it was perfect for what we needed.

This looked like an isolated place where you can live in a junlge and it turned out to be just so. You live in the nature among trees where you can see and hear exotic birds singing, see rare monkey species jumping around, and enjoy seaview under the hill. Our room (actually a large part of the house with multiple rooms) was very spacious with couple of balconies where you can even have a meal. You can even cook on the kitchen. The whole place looks like an area where rich or creative people from the mid 20th century would come for a retreat far away from vibrant life on the popular beaches. We really enjoyed the atmosphere here! The host was fantastic as well!

There are few things that you should be aware of or be ready for. - Since you live in the nature, be careful with not leaving food outside. - Location is on a hill and a bit away from main road. There is a steep road to the place and some taxi drivers don't want to go the last 300m up the hill. - There is no beach accessible from the place, so you would need to go to a beach somewhere else. But there is a good pool.

Host was lovely. Pool lovely and clean. Wifi good. Monkeys to see. Big lizards. Gorgeous setting.

It was a way out of town and away from the beach too much. Long long walk ,many stairs and this includes the apartment. Stairs up to bathroom. Need a car or easy access to grab cars. Most of them had trouble finding it. No where to cook food so needed to travel to town for lunch and dinner. Mattress very hard. Tv not working,

We stayed in Sari Village for 4 nights. We got much more than we originally expected! If you look for a posh, fancy and loud space full of people, then this amazing retreat would not be for you. The nearest beach is maybe 10 minutes walk away, what on the other hand means you are in perfectly quiet and relaxing place just surrounded with nature, with flowers, trees and animals – like in your private small jungle. The little wooden houses and apartments were not built last year, but they have their own magic, they are all well taken care of, they are clean, comfortable and cozy. The view from your window or terrace is stunning the whole day – watching over the bay with the surrounding islands. What made our experience so special was the owner Mr. Noon. He has made us feel like we are his family. He offered us local food and home-made breakfast – every morning he surprised us with another local specialty – if we mentioned we want to try some special desert he surprised us with it the next day. He offered a great boat-trip to the wild spectacular empty beaches. Unlike the mass-organized commercial island trips, Mr. Noon took us to beautiful places with no tourist, where he served us tasty fresh breakfast under the palm trees on the beach. We sailed in the mangroves bay to observe some wildlife and eagles and at the end stopped for lunch on an isolated tiny island with astounding beach. Experience you cannot buy anywhere else! One in a lifetime adventure we would like to repeat one day again. This was surely the best part of our 20 days trip over the region! So special! All of this with the feeling of tranquility while being surrounded by the peaceful nature and the sounds of the jungle forest, with stunning views of the sea and nearby small islands, was for us something that we cannot forget. It has rejuvenated our souls and made us feel grateful for finding such place, Heaven on Earth with a great bonus: welcomin, kind, humble and helpful human as Mr. Noon is. ❤️

nothing - this stay was one of the best experience of our lives.

The location is quieter far out from main beach which is great for us. Its nearer to another ser public beach so it is a good alternative away from busy places. The host is very nice and hospitable, shared with us tips on where to get nice food! (Of course super important.. lol).

There was no mirror in the shower or bathroom, but in the rooms. The entry to the main room does not have anything to close/cover, so be ready to be without any privacy with friends/family you stay together with...

Great well kept location and marvellous hospitality.

Accommodation was very spacious and comfortable for a family holiday. This stay has charm and character, and we especially enjoyed hearing our host Pak Zainol tell us about its history. It made our stay feel very personal and authentic. The views are spectacular! It may be a bit tricky to find at first, but if you have access to a rental car, the location is quite central and easy to get to. Private boat tour was exceptional, really enjoyed learning a lot about the history of Langkawi! Our only regret - is that we didn't stay longer!

Keep in mind there are quite a few steps, it's helpful to have a torch (phone) on you especially if you venture out in the evening to so you can find your way to your unit. It did not bother me too much, but it is helpful to know since we had a few small falls in the dark.

Very nice view, close to nature, host is super friendly and helpful

I loved my stay at Sari Jungle Village and was very sad to leave. Some grab drivers won't go up the hill but even if you do have to walk, it's well worth the effort. Beautiful location and view, you are in amongst lush greenery, and apart from the local wildlife and occasional distant boat sounds it is peaceful, calm and relaxing. The evening chorus of hornbills and frogs was a pleasure. Zainal and his family were friendly and very helpful at all times, informative of the history of Sari Jungle Village and Langkawi without being intrusive. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well appointed with a cracking view of the sea from the bedroom. Breakfast was a very tasty feast and the pool a welcome sight after a long and hot days sight seeing.

Staying at Sari Village was not only an enjoyable and comfortable stay, but exceeded my expectations in a myriad of ways. Not only was the villa itself spacious, superbly clean and homey, the balcony offered me and my friends a gorgeous space to make unforgettable memories while savoring an astounding - almost priceless - view in tandem. The pool, private and hidden from view and which made us feel like we were in our own little world, was a refreshing little bonus as well. But above all, Pak Non's almost undeserving hospitality and kindness served to bless us with a such a feeling of care one would only expect of people like family. He is truly a master in the art of conviviality and kind-heartedness, and I left with a feeling of awe at the amount of patience, fortitude and protection he bestowed without asking. I highly recommend Sari Villa for the those looking for tranquility, joy and indelible delight and satisfaction. It is a place I will very likely not quickly forget, and I would feel beyond blessed to be able to return to its welcoming, private and cosy accommodation any time again... should I be so fortunate. :)

The Sari Village is located in natural environment with plants and flowers, Malaysian style architecture. But the most impressive is The Host, his knowledge about Langkawi story and nature and his willingness to make your stay as in paradise, not to forget about the food he served us during the stay - I have never imagined to eat such delicious things

Everything was perfect

sari village is amazing! if you want the picture perfect view in mids of nature and calm this is the place for you! Zainol, the owner of the place is the sweetest person and was super helpful with everything. he went above and beyond to make our stay as perfect as possible. we could see monkeys, hornbills and squirrels from our house.

The spectacular views, comfort and spacious apartments. Super hospitality and a kind, informative host who went out of his way to make us comfortable and relaxed.

A bit of roof leakage when raining, the guess stayed on top floor walk around all over midnight their loud foot step noise makes us and our baby couldn't sleep

Hands down one of the best stays you can find in langkawi, nothing can describe the view from the place. 10/10 for everything.

The place was superb. The owner is very nice guy. Whoever wants quite place to relax, this is right place to be.
