Spacieuse maison de deux chambres au coeur de Los Ranchos. Grande cuisine et salle à manger pour se divertir. My husband, my teenagers and I had a wonderful stay at Kevin and Wendy's spacious home. Everyone had their own bathroom, which was probably the highlight for my teens--ha! We weren't exactly sure what the property looked like from the pictures, but it was typical of the neighborhood and felt like a little urban farm. My kids loved the chickens and the family dog (the owners made sure to ask if we were okay with the dog being out), and there were many cozy little outdoor spots around the house for reading and relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub every night under the stars, and I enjoyed a cup of coffee outside every morning. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and conveniently located for exploring the city (you'll need a car). Wendy was friendly and responsive, and everything went smoothly. Lovely home, lovely owners, lovely stay. Thank you!

Great hosts, 3 separate areas for family to interact and gather…beautiful yard & garden. Visiting family (nearby in NM), we’re able to visit and enjoy the jacuzzi and s’mores at the outdoor fire pit. Kevin & Wendy were gracious and welcoming.

The property was beautiful and the host was extremely accommodating. The kids loved seeing the chickens and even collecting the eggs. The walking trail nearby was a highlight, for sure! Our only confusion was that the picture that showed two beds in one room was really two air mattresses. They were really nice air mattresses, though.

We had our whole immediate family with us (ages: 7, teenagers, our adult children, and us seniors, lol), 9 in total. We came together from different parts of the country.
This house couldn't have worked out better for us. Kids could be together and noisy in the lower level while we were in the large kitchen visiting and cooking. Three bedrooms and baths were great for our 3 families. Yard perfect for our 2 grand puppies.
After hiking and sight seeing we could come back and cook on the grill and use the hot tub.
Just can't say enough how nice it was! Wendy and Kevin were very easy to talk/work with.
Would love to return sometime.

Growing up we would visit Albuquerque twice a year from AZ. Hadn’t been back in several years. Decided to take a trip back and reminisce with my mother, sister, brother and his wife. Didn’t want to stay in a hotel so decided to chose a VRBO. This was a nice, clean and comfortable stay. Will definitely stay here again.

Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful home. Private. Had everything we needed. Nice touches. Really enjoyed family gathering in back yard with plenty of space for all. Would definitely stay again. The third bedroom is a little far from the bathroom but still works.

The rental included the use of a large fenced garden for our grandson, washer and dryer and multiple lounging spaces.
The owners also supplied a crib for the baby.

Everything you would hope to have at a VRBO and then some. I don’t know who was happier….my dog or me.
Cooking supplies, comfortable beds, toys/games for kids, multiple TVs, stocked kitchen. Our only downside was a set of 6 stairs, easily managed but my husband has a bad knee.

We had a comfortable and easy stay in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque. This house was the perfect spot to explore the area from. The house and yard were private even though it was half of a duplex. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a gem! We've stayed at VRBOs for many years, and this is clearly the best - by far. The property is gorgeous, spacious beyond belief, furnished attractively and well with great attention to detail, and has extremely friendly and responsive hosts. We can't recommend it too highly!

Wonderful first-time stay in Albuquerque and wonderful hosts!
The house was easy to find and in a location that gave us very easy access to the rest of the city. It was spacious and very clean; the swamp cooler kept the house very pleasantly cool during the warm days. The hosts were also incredibly responsive to spur of the moment requests (the use of a cooler) and extended themselves far beyond what I would have expected (assistance with packing materials for fragile items for the trip home). They were always available but never intrusive. My suggestion for any future guest is to read the house manual immediately upon arrival. The hosts provide lots of amenities - including coffee, sugar, condiments, laundry detergent and even some boxed and canned items in the pantry, etc. - so it's wise to take stock of what's already available before venturing out to make any purchases. Altogether this was an experience well worth a repeat!

Would give more than 5 stars if possible. Plenty of room for everyone. Best stocked kitchen we have ever had at a VRBO - we lacked for nothing but fresh groceries. The area is beautiful to drive around; enjoy the walk along the canal; lovely winery nearby. Would love to stay again in a future visit

We just dropped off our youngest at UNM. We rented this property and it was perfect, just perfect. The home is so inviting and spacious. The beautiful backyard allowed us time to just reflect in the morning our coffee. The house was just what we needed to help with the difficult process of leaving our youngest behind. Thank you!!

Lovely North Valley Location
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely Vrbo property. It's perfectly located to enjoy early morning nature walks. The home is welcoming and the hosts provide a lot of kitchen amenities that are typically absent from many Vrbo properties. Older Compound in Need of Repairs
We booked an extended stay at this home to stretch our time in New Mexico and visit family in the area. Some in our party needed to work during the week, so it was disappointing that the pictures advertised a nice work space but there was none when we arrived. Additionally, like many homes in ABQ, the house did not have air conditioning and instead had a swamp cooler. When the temps reached 100+ outside the house was HOT. We couldn't get it cooler than mid-80s. Thank goodness one of the rooms had an A/C unit in the window; our children were pretty warm going to bed. When I originally read this listing, it noted that the owners were on the property, and I did not realize this meant their house was attached to the part of the home in which we stayed. They were quiet and considerate of our space, but it was surprising. What was more surprising is that there is another little rental casita also attached to the home with an entrance just steps away from our own. Three attached homes total in this compound. That was not indicated in the rental description. In all, after a hot, uncomfortable stay in a house with space in need of repair (including extremely creaky floors), we left early for home.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for my son's wedding just a few miles away. The pictures online were awesome and the place was even better! It was a great place to have the rehearsal dinner before and a family get together after! Plenty of space to socialize both inside and out! We hope to return! Amazing hosts! Thank you!

Excellent Accommodations
This place was perfect for us! We were able to park our motorcoach in the front. Our dogs had a wonderful yard to run about. Very comfortable, great location, well-stocked! We were here on a business trip and had a great setup to train our employees and to entertain outdoors! Highly Recommended!

Fabulous stay
Location was super convenient to town but out of the hustle & bustle. Loved the walking trail nearby & the property exceeded expectations. We had more than enough room for 3 humans & 2 dogs. Loved the big backyard & hottub that we had full access to. Will definitely book again next time we are in ABQ.

One of my best VRBO experiences
I've stayed in dozens of rentals on VRBO & other platforms, and this one really stands out. The home is in great condition, well appointed and stocked with everything. Kevin & Wendy were excellent hosts -- I barely knew they were present on the property, but when we needed something, they responded immediately.
Beds are cozy, kitchen is as well-stocked as any rental I've ever enjoyed, and everything is clean and works well. There's even a ton of outdoor space, including a hot tub, a grass lawn, and plenty of cozy seating. Just loved staying there, and we were sad to leave.

What a gem!
This property is a wonderful, secluded gem of a place. It's quiet, there is a ton of space, the hot tub is magnificent, and the kitchen was fabulous. I can't say enough... I needed a place to just unwind, and Kevin and Wendy's place sure did the trick.
The surrounding grounds are comfortable and well-decorated. I loved the enclosed yard with the hot tub (of course) and a hammock to stretch out on.
The kitchen was really well-equipped, including some things that are easy to forget (salt shaker) and some nice additions (tea!).
The beds were super-soft and I slept really well each night I was there... and the small, gurgling fountain right outside the master bedroom window was a cool addition... very relaxing sound.
You won't regret staying here, especially if you're looking for space to stretch out and a bit of time to just relax and enjoy the company of family or friends.

Spoiled forever by this VRBO
I cannot say enough positive things about this VRBO. Not only is the house spacious, nicely decorated, well-stocked (beyond expectations!), and clean, Wendy and Kevin are wonderful hosts...they went above and beyond out of their way to make our stay comfortable, and made our kids feel welcomed and special during this COVID pandemic of social isolation. There is TONS of space and plenty of privacy in the house and on the property for those who wish to have a quiet get-away, and the property and neighborhood truly feel like being on a farm. Horses, chickens (not heard, just seen), goats, sheep, and peacocks are all on properties nearby! We really enjoyed the yard/outdoor sitting and hot tub area as well as biking/walking the trails in the neighborhood, all while enjoying close proximity to both Rio Rancho and Albuquerque conveniences. We have already booked more time here in the future! Thank you Wendy and Kevin for sharing with us :)
