LOVE the decor, the lounge especially really captures the vintage Western vibe. The organic yogurt and granola breakfast was delicious! Staff were super friendly and accommodating and the Casper mattresses and pillows? Top notch. Also loved the gift shop vending machine concept that was a fun touch.

The location around the motel felt a little sketchy, I wouldn’t walk around from the motel.

The breakfast was perfect and simple- nice yogurt with fresh made local granola. The bed was very comfortable and there were many lamps in the room so the lighting was recessed and comforting. This motel is stylish and recently renovated. It's set back from the main road, so the rooms and courtyard are very quiet.

Everything was perfect from start to finish! The entire property was an MCM lovers dreamland. The staff were all exceptionally friendly. They even went through the trouble of starting a fire in the giant fire pit for just us on our last night there. My husband loved talking with Matt each morning while he fixed our daily coffee and yogurt with granola (now I know what all the buzz is about with that granola! The best I've ever had). The grounds and guests were so quiet that we wondered if we were the only ones there at times. It abuts a beautiful park and is an easy walk to tons of restaurants (the Beer Baron was an amazing Whiskey Bar we visited more than once). We never really stay in one place for 4 days when we trave, but it was so nice having the Astro as a home base for all of our Sonoma and Napa adventures. For us, it was the perfect jumping off point for everything we had planned. We will definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area.

The stay was a mixed bag - in some ways it was very lovely, but there were some significant issues that make me unsure if I would stay again. To start with the good things - the hotel itself has been fully renovated and the decor is quirky in all the best ways, the courtyard is amazing and the location is great. In the middle - the rooms are on the smaller side and there are no elevators so if you're placed on the 2nd floor you will have to walk up stairs so be sure to mention it when reserving if that will be a problem for you.

On the less than ideal side - we were initially placed in a room with significant condition/maintenance issues (door - which opens to the outside - didn't lock, the a/c wasn't functional, and the room smelled of pet urine) which were met with indifference by the night shift staff. We were eventually moved to a room with functional safety features and amenities, but it took multiple trips to get there. Staff were often indifferent at best. There is significant construction going on near the hotel which started with a LOT of jackhammering at 7:30 am,

The property is on a great location. Close to high and downtown. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the decor and artefacts in the room and ion the hotel premises. The staff were very helpful and courteous.

The courtyard was very nice with artwork and fruit trees adding to the nice environment. The retro furnishings all around are obviously unique for a motel. The room was clean and quiet. Finally, the staff was very accommodating and pleasant, readily answering questions and fulfilling a couple specific requests. I’d definitely recommend.

I kept windows open each night as the temperatures were very nice. Early in the morning, as the sun warmed the building, there was a creaking or ticking noise from the expansion of the metals in the structure……at least that’s my belief for the sound. Anyway, it only bothered me a couple mornings when I laid and tried to figure out where the sound came from 😁 not a deal killer.

The whole vibe is incredible. From the exterior to the lounge to the room. It was like slipping into a MCM time capsule.

The door handle stuck a bit. But that was literally the only thing I can fault.

Love the retro look. Common areas were nicely done. Breakfast room I’m was inviting. Great ambiance.

This hotel is wonderful. The decor in the rooms was wonderful and they were super clean. They think of everything- including a dark towel for makeup removal. The bed was a dream. Breakfast was awesome. I wish that I could have bought the granola to take home. I am really glad that I found this place.

Our stay was perfect! Breakfast and coffee were amazing, we are still talking about how much we enjoyed the room. The bed was incredibly comfortable (best nap of my life!) and the Casper sheets were a dream! Bob at the front desk was amazing and so welcoming. Everything was simple, comfortable, clean, and stylish! We will be back soon!

Parking was easy, once the main lot got full we were able to use the side lot that we were told about.

Such a great stay. the Reims were clean and comfortable, but the best part was the garden/communal spaces. it is so welcoming and they have a variety of places in the garden to sit and drink your coffee or a fire pit to enjoy at night. Thomas, who checked us in was fantastic, super welcoming and informative. the Astro is only 1/2 mile from the main downtown making it a great location

I wish we had access to coffee in the rooms, being early risers we had to wait several hours before the continental breakfast, which served coffee, or any coffee shops opened up. parking was a bit of a challenge, but again Thomas did a great job explaining the location of additional parking.

Reception employee questioned pre-payment through Booking.com. I had to show emailed receipt that I had already paid. First time this has happened.

experienced hot water issues in the shower. maintenance came right away to fix it though.
