Talisman Ocean views
Talisman est un appartement au sommet d'une falaise récemment rénové avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. Il dispose d'un salon et d'une salle à manger spacieux, le salon est équipé d'une grande télévision à écran plat, d'une banquette-lit simple et d'une suite salon très confortable ainsi que de deux fauteuils poire, qui sont parfaits pour s'asseoir sur le pont extérieur donnant sur l'océan les glorieux levers de soleil du matin, les mouvements de navigation, les baleines et les dauphins en saison. La cuisine a également vue sur l'océan et est entièrement équipée et équipée de tous les nouveaux appareils, y compris un lave-vaisselle, cuisinière, four, réfrigérateur / congélateur complet et un micro-ondes. Les deux chambres contiennent des lits queen et une télévision dans chaque chambre. La salle de bain a une douche, une baignoire et un meuble-lavabo et les toilettes sont situées séparément. Le Talisman dispose d'une machine à laver et d'un sèche-linge pour votre confort.
Talisman est situé à Portland sur Hanlon Parade, il est très proche du cœur de la ville. Une promenade de quinze minutes le long de la falaise pittoresque vous amènera aux restaurants, au centre de pêche et à notre belle plage. Un barbecue Weber est fourni pour profiter d'un repas en plein air sur la magnifique terrasse du Talisman surplombant l'océan.
Portland est un endroit idéal pour les aventuriers! il possède l'un des sites de pêche au thon rouge le plus fréquenté au monde. Entouré de merveilles de la nature, des expériences comme la colonie de fous de Bassan et la promenade en forêt enchantée ne sont qu'à quelques minutes. Un court trajet en voiture vous amènera à la baie de Bridgewater à couper le souffle où vous pourrez déguster un repas au café, puis vous diriger vers la colonie de phoques à fourrure ou les lacs de Bridgewater.
Talisman dispose d'un parking gratuit et d'une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite, et de la climatisation, et est idéal pour un couple ou une petite famille.

This is second time we have stayed here. We spent double the time. Weather was not the best but staying indoors more than we were planning was not a problem at all -it is a lovely property and has un-interupted views of the ocean. We also noticed that a couple of items had been updated; just another note that the owner ensures everything is in best condition. Thanks Bernadette.

We loved Portland! And we loved this gorgeous property.
Spotlessly clean and so well appointed with everything you could need. Hard to pull the blinds down in the evening as the view from the living room was amazing. We have been using Stayz for years to book holidays and this is the best property we have ever found. Outstanding!

Beautiful comfortable house. We had a cosy week at Talisman in July, loved waking up to a glorious view. Did lots of day walks on the Great South West Walk, the book Short walks of the GSWW we found very useful – available from the tourist office. The TV and the stove were a bit challenging to work without instructions (disappeared on the stove). Found great coffee, seafood and bread in town. Portland is a fascinating place to visit, we especially enjoyed the many historical buildings and friendly people.

Cleanest property ever, wonderful outlook across Portland Bay. Very relaxing stay in a very friendly town. Loved Bahloo cafe for coffee & food, Mac's Hotel also good. We will definitely return in future.

The house was amazing, better than i could ever imagine. It was so clean and smelt like a spa resort. It had everything you could possibly need and more. The views were spectacular. Bernadette, the host was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be recommending to my family and friends.

This is first time I have been to a property where the photos and supporting information were as advertised. It is beautifully appointed and so clean. Any minor issues were based on personal preference (e.g. we prefer gas to electric and would have been good to have a pot big enough to cook pasta in). The owner of the property provided excellent communication, instructions and responses were prompt. We are looking forward to staying there again.

Excellent location
We had a lovely 5 night stay at Talisman.
The property has a fabulous location with beautiful views, very close to town. All the furniture was good quality and very comfortable - including the bed. Although we didn’t use them, there was a near new Weber bbq, washing machine & dryer. We could have easily stayed longer. Thanks Bernie for sharing your lovely property.

And Talisman is a beautiful place to watch the ocean from. A quick walk to a secluded beach and a good walk into town. We loved our stay here.

Wish we could stay longer
We were just here for one night during our road trip but found the place tidy, cozy and warm. When we awoke, the sunrise over the bay was beautiful. The house is well situated and I wish we could have stayed longer.
The pillows were fluffy, the bed was a little hard for our tastes but once out, slept well. It was very quiet around the neighborhood. We liked the area and hope to return some day to explore more of it.

A Whale of a 4 night stay
We booked Talisman Views for a 4 night stay at the start of Sept. 2019. The house and location are first rate with great views straight out over the bay. My wife and I went there in the hope of seeing Whales and we were not let down. It was late afternoon on the 2nd day when we looked out the front and there was a Mother Whale with very young Calf breaching directly out the front so we were stoked. The house is great, very clean and tidy with a wonderfully comfortable bed off the main lounge and breakfast area, there is also a full Kitchen & Laundry to use so we didn’t want for anything- a home away from home. Thanks again Bernadette for letting us stay at your lovely Talisman Views, it will be our “go to” place next time we plan a holiday down Portland way, many thanks from Megan and Ian

Excellent Sea View
Exceeded my expectations as the property is very well maintained and very clean. Location is excellent as it is only minutes from the town centre and with an unblocked sea view. Would have wanted to stay longer if not for my work schedule.
Owner is very responsive to queries too.

Amazing property
Property was amazing and I have several friends who are now interested in staying.
Only negative was I was searching for properties in Cape Bridgewater not Portland and did not realise this property was in Portland until time of check in. Have raised issue of internet searching with homeaway

Ticked all the boxes for us
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It was obviously clean, comfortable and well presented from the moment we opened the door. There were two main heaters to choose from and both quickly heated the apartment so it was warm and cosy. The kitchen made cooking easy and we found all the kitchen utensils that we needed. Both the oven and barbecue were very clean and a pleasure to use. The view was outstanding and made it difficult to leave some mornings. The road between the apartment and the water view was quiet and did not take away from the view in any way. The modern window coverings made it easy to screen for privacy or sunlight. It was a wonderful base from which to enjoy Portland and surrounds.

It's a very cosy house with everything you need, including a killer view! I woke to the most beautiful sunrise in the morning too.
