Four of us spent a lovely week at this old farmhouse. It was very well equipped eg. loads of mugs, glasses, cutlery, plates so we didn’t have to keep washing them up to use them. Very comfortable, colourful, artistic and two outdoor spaces to enjoy. Marie-Helene and Olivier were great hosts and Isle-sur-La Sorgue was much better than we’d expected. A great week all in all.

Notre séjour à L'Isle sur la Sorgue a été un réél bonheur. Tout y est : le très chaleureux accueil d'Olivier et de Marie-Hélène, la beauté et l'authenticité du Mas des Sorguettes, les indispensables conseils de balades à vélo, les villages à visiter.... Tout est bien pensé dans cette maison authentique et intégralement rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. Les propriétaires y ont donné une âme et cela se ressent dès le premier instant. Rien ne manque, d’une propreté irréprochable, la literie est parfaite et les équipements de haut niveau. Le jardin est très reposant et ressourçant. Nous y avons passé de très très bonnes vacances avec des hôtes disponibles et discrets.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans le mas de Sorguette de Marie Helene et son mari. Nous avons aimé tout d'abord la localisation, à distance raisonable du village et la possibilité de rayonner en voiture avec les ados autour (village du Lubéron, plages de la méditeranée, Avignon, Marseille,..), guidé par les conseils des propriétaires. Le gîte lui même est charmant , on sent la main de l'architecte (propriétaire lui même ?) pour la rénovation qui donne un charme et une touche haut de gamme à cette grande bâtisse ! On ressort relaxé de cette semaine.. Merci !

Maison très propre, très bien équipée dans laquelle on s'est senti très bien. Le jardin et les 2 coins repas sont très agréables. Pour un séjour dans le Vaucluse et Luberon cette location est au top. Les propriétaires sont très disponibles et sympathiques. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine. Merci encore Olivier et Marie Hélène.

We have just returned from a wonderful week, this property is beautiful, very well thought, retaining all the charm of the building. Only a short gentle walk from the centre of l'isle sur la sorgue. Well connected as a great jumping off point to this beautiful area of France. Shame the weather wasn't kinder so we could enjoyeating out, some things you just can't book.

This was an amazing property. Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. There was everything you could wish for here. It is in a lovely area and the nearby town was excellent. Olivier and Marie-helen Helene were most welcoming and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This house exceeded our expectations in every way! Decorated with taste and simplicity, with beautiful art on the walls, and a fully-equipped kitchen with absolutely everything needed. Olivier and Marie-Helen, the owners, could not have given us a warmer welcome. We just loved staying here!

We stayed here in June when France experienced its record heatwave and afternoons became so hot we needed to find shelter. Thank goodness for the house's cool interior, vine covered patio and shaded abri. We were four adults looking to explore the area and were pleased to find the house was within walking distance of l'Isle sur la Sorgue, famous for its antiques, as well as within easy reach of Avignon and the enchanting hill top villages nearby. Olivier was the perfect host supplying maps, information and guides. We would recommend this house 100% and would not hesitate to stay there again. It is incredibly well equipped with so many tasteful artistic touches - a credit to Olivier's vision and talent!!

We were very lucky to find this beautiful house in Isle -sur-la Sorgue, which is the perfect place as a base if you want to visit Provence. We were able to travel short distances and visit many wonderful places and we had this beautiful house to come to back to. The house is lovely and spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped . There's a lovely garden, in which to have wonderful aperitifs under a covered area with a huge table. thought we didn't use it, we saw there was a barbeque and everything necessary. We can highly recomment this lovely house. We also found the owners Marie-Helene and Olivier very nice and friendly and we hope to go back there again in the future. Thank you.

We spent a wonderful week in this lovely home! It had everything that we needed - very cozy and comfortable! And private. Can be a little chilly with the stone walls and floors but the heaters work well and are efficient. It is about a 20 minute walk along the river into the village. Helene-Marie and Olivier are terrific hosts. They live right next door so it is convenient should you have any problems. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for the week from 6th October with our dog Lily. We were joined by our friends from Tuesday - Friday. The house was spotless, very comfortable for all of us, and had plenty of space inside and out. It is well equipped with many arty touches.It is possible to walk along the road into the town in around 20 mins but it is busy and in parts unpaved so not ideal. There is a path along the river which would work in summer months. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and the area which is beautiful. The garden is perfect, secure and safe.

L'Isle sur la Sorgue is the ideal location for a stay in Provence. We stayed there for a month and never tired of its offerings. The city is within an hour or a bit more to the beautiful small hill towns and the same to the glorious cities of Arles, Avignon and Marseilles. All varieties of walks and hikes are just minutes away. Marie-Hélène and Olivier's home is perfectly situated just far enough out of the city to offer a quiet respite and close enough for an easy walk along the river to a lively small city with a multitude of shopping opportunities and good restaurants. The city is a tourist destination for the French so you get the feeling of being part of the French culture which is a lovely experience. Their Sunday antique market is famous throughout Provence. The home itself is a renovated barn and is glorious in its clean lines and authentic architecture. Every detail is carefully thought out and maintained. We stayed alone for most of the month but had company for a little while and the home expanded to include the four of us nicely. The kitchen is perfectly stocked for cooking and we enjoyed staying home many nights and cooking the bounty that the local outdoor markets have to offer. The outdoor patio area with its grill and two large farm tables are a complete luxury. The large and quiet outdoor area gave us the opportunity to totally relax after a busy day hiking or driving through the countryside or in the cities. Marie-Hélène and Olivier are the perfect hosts, offering guidance when we needed it and allowing us complete privacy when we wanted that. Their kindness and generosity made our stay that much more special. We do recommend bringing along a pair of warm slippers as the stone floor maintains its cool temperature! We recommend this home without reservation and consider ourselves lucky to have enjoyed it for such a long time.

"We had a beautiful holiday in this charming ancient old house. It has plenty of room and is friendly renovated with modern character. Especially the kitchen is fully equipped and makes it easy to cook and eat. The house is situated in a quiet area. You can go to the city of L''Isle-sur-la-Sorgue either by car along the main road (takes 5 min.) or by foot along the river Sorgue (takes approx. 25 min.). We decided to go to L’Isle-sur-la-Sorge for holiday in order to make trips around the Provence. And this is really true: You can easy visit nearby cities by car like Avignon, Arles, Nîmes, Aix-en-Provence. But there are a lot of smaller villages not far away with lovely restaurants and markets. L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is very beautiful and has a lovely town center. There you can sit nearby the river Sorgue and can enjoy French wine or French food. Many thanks to the owner of the house who are very kind and have arranged everything very perfect."

"This property met all our expectations. It is in a quiet,rural setting, but only a five minute drive from L'Isle-sur-La Sorgue. We were particularly pleased with the quality of the kitchen equipment and utensils. The gite was well equipped,and we appreciated having wifi,a dishwasher and washing machine. The property easily accommodates 2 couples, and would be be large enough for three. We enjoyed the outside covered dining area, and were able to eat outside even in rainy weather. Olivier and Marie-Helen were very helpful, providing maps and good advice about the area. We enjoyed L'Isle sur la Sorgue very much. It is an attractive, interesting city and made an excellent base for exploring the Luberon, Arles, and Avignon."

"The house was very comfortable - large and well equipped. The beds were good. The house is right on the edge of town so is quite a distance from the centre of town (about 25 minutes walk) which could be a problem if you do not have a car. However, it is worth the walk for the lovely surroundings - big trees, near to the river, red squirrels, little bats and lots of birds. The house is lovely too - the photos do not do it justice. We spent a very enjoyable 2 weeks in it."
