The room was not very cosy - the lighting was very harsh. Also, the building is a little dated and could use some modernisation

Todo, el personal, las instalaciones, la habitación, el baño, no tiene nada negativo, el mejor hotel de Caldas de Reis y uno de los mejores hoteles de Pontevedra.

L’accueil : la jeune femme avait l’air d’être au bout de sa vie et au départ personne a la réception ! La décharge à signer qui engage que nous ne fumerons pas !! Les autos collants 🚭 coller à plusieurs endroits dans la chambre et sdb. L’affichage de température de la clim qui projette une lumière vive. Le concept de la chambre, l’architecte n’était pas très doué « petites loupiotes ridicules que d’un côté du lit, en revanche plafonnier digne d’une salle d’opération. ⚠️ le petit dej était compris dans la chambre, mais il fallait effectuer son choix la veille, et propositions très restreintes « pain, pas de croissants, et jus d’orange naturel facturé en + à 2€50 !! Nous n’avons pas pris donc les petits déjeuner : résultats la chambre n’a pas été faite car il aurait fallu prévenue que nous ne prenions pas ce petit déjeuner. Bref, tordu comme raisonnement.

Hotel Roquino was one of our favourite hotels during the Portuguese Camino. The room were lovely, the bathroom lovely with a great shower and the location was perfect, very central and even had a restaurant attached. Everything was perfect and at a really good price!

This was a great stay. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good location although the town didn’t seem too interesting. The shops on walking street either out of business or not appealing. The hotel had most amazing bicycle parking with electric plugs and cleaning station even tire pump.

The girl at check in was a bit indifferent, went through the motions without trying to be engaging. Next shift super helpful guy and in morning another who was helpful and friendly. The restaurant menu was subpar. Fries appeared to be reheated, meat was tender but had lots fat and sinewy parts. The restaurant is totally under staffed. Amazingly the waitress was patient and polite in spite of many tables.

Hotel is close to the Camino. Bed was comfortable, AC worked properly, great water pressure in shower and plenty of hot water. Our room overlooked the plaza so it was a nice view. The cafes, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance along with the churches. The front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful. We paid for breakfast the next morning and there was plenty of food to start us on the Camino - eggs, bacon, bread, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, pastries, etc. The hotel was a perfect one night stop.

I missed very much a fridge in the room. It was very hot outside ; no possibility to have cold water in the room; only if you are buying from the bar and late night is not possible:(

the breakfast was excellent even if we should complete from the previous day the list concerning the food wich prefer to consume; in any case this is in favor of the economy and demonstrates an environmental concern. The quality of the food was excellent and most important the smiling face of Jorje who served us. It was a good start of our day!

It was difficult to find the entrance of the hotel which was in a small street beside the main road. In the façade there was the label with the name of the hotel but in fact there was a synonymous restaurant; we could pass through the restaurant and reach the hotel, but nobody informed us.

The STAFF! All questions were patiently answered and helpful suggestions given. property has two restaurants. one in a terrace overlooking lively street life. great for enjoying a refreshing beverage and people watching.

the hand held shower nozzle in my shower was not properly working. it worked but water flows was erratic.
