We enjoyed our 2 night stay in winter. A cosy cottage quickly warmed by air con and plenty of spare blankets . The hosts have thought of everything a family might need. The cottage has a lovely retro feel.
The location is excellent - if you have young children with you Blacksmiths Beach and park are
just a few minutes walk down the road, and there is plenty to look at in Swansea channel which is a stones throw away.

This is a nice property, it is as advertised, and had everything we needed. close to fishing (lake). Short 3-4 minute walk to the beach. We all enjoyed our time here. The hosts provided all information we needed, and timely. Communication was very easy.

We had two very comfortable nights here. Spacious for two families, shaded outdoor area and the cleanest holiday rental that I have visited. Easy walk to Blacksmiths beach and grannies pool and a short drive to groceries in Swansea. We would love to come again.

This cottage is all you need for a great stay in Blacksmiths. Easy to explore all that the area has. Very clean and welcoming, all your needs are catered for, linen, crockery, condiments, ample bedding and seating for the large family.

Fantastic stay in a fantastic location
The house is in an excellent location, walking distance to Blacksmiths beach and to a nice cafe/yoga place.
The house is so well equipped for friends and family. They even have children’s facilities such as sand and beach toys, kids cutlery and board games.
All the nice extra touches was so thoughtful. The house is very well equipped. We will definitely be back.

Greg & Kathie were great hosts. Prompt communication. The property was as described and even better than the photos suggest. Location is fab, walking distance to Granny’s Pool & Blacksmith’s Beach. The sunsets were magical. Plenty of space for 2 adults + 5 kids.

Position of home is good, walking distance to Granny's Pool, Beach and Boat Ramp. There's plenty of space to park boat at the rear of property behind gates. The whole family enjoyed the place.

Stayed with family and everyone loved it. We did a run up to Newcastle and Stockton Beach 4WDing. Close to the water channel and boat ramp, would definitely be back with my boat on a fishing trip. Great morning or sunset walks along the water. Very well looked after property :-)

Excellent value for great location
Stayed with a group of friends for the weekend and had great time. The cottage has been recently renovated and feels new & surprisingly spacious. Would have been nice to have a dishwasher but considering the price we can't complain. It's a short walk to the beach and a quick drive to the shops. Would stay again!

Nice Beach Cottage
Cottage was clean and had everything you need for a holiday. Well organised, no problem getting access. Short walk to fabulous beach and 'grannies pool' (great place for little ones). Shops nearby. Only issue was that the 4th bedroom can only be accessed through another bedroom which I hadn't realised. Ok if you have kids but not so great with all adults. Meant I had to change some sleeping arrangements which weren't ideal. Noisy neighbours but suspect that is a holiday rental too, so is luck of the draw. Will return.
