It's a nice place, walking distance to the beach, great for a quick swim or jogging.

It would have been great if not all conversations (including the welcoming one, 3 days before I'd have to leave) with the host were about at which hour I'll leave, and trying to make me to leave earlier (10 am), when the checkout time set on booking is before 12.

Everything perfect: in the room we have everything we need and if we need something more the owner is always ready to help.there is Also the kitchen. The location is perfect, just five minutes from the beach ( that is really amazing!) The place is very quite, There are not Many shops and restaurants if you want more attractions you must have a car.

The lady was very helpful great location and the apartment was excellent with cooking facilities plates pans and cutlery We would definitely stay again This hotel is the best value for money in Mauritius

Great host and internet speed

Location is close to the beach but there is little to do around the area.

The host said she was doing me a favour by downgrading my room type because I made the reservation the morning of checking in. The room she put me in the room that is located at the very top of the red stairs and this room looked and felt out of order and hadn't been used or cleaned in a long time. The linen and pillows smelt like dried vomit, there was dust everywhere, I refused to walk barefoot in there, both towels she gave me were manky and hadnt been washed. The door cannot be locked from the outside so when I left the room I had to place my belongings in the dilapidated but lockable cupboard and take that key with me. She asked a lot of questions about my rental car which made me feel uneasy and also she did not share the wifi password with me. There was left over items in the refrigerator which looked as though they had been there for a long time. There was stacked furniture in the corners of the room and a broken washing machine by the bathroom. The aircon had only one setting which blasted cold air. I paid a decent price and got a piece of crap in return. I stayed only one night and checked out at first light even though i was tired from not being able to sleep in that sty. Hey lady, instead of punishing the guest for making a same day booking, please consider modifying the settings of your listing to not accept same day bookings.

The property is well located. Very nice owners

I was surprised with the low quality of the accommodation following the very good reviews on booking. We stayed in other much higher standard apartments in Grand Bay for nearly half of the price we paid for that one. The room and bathroom are in need of modernisation. I would suggest putting a book with instructions about the WiFi in the room as we had to wait until a few hours before being able to connect.

The apartment is very cosy and clean, with a nice balcony and a short walk to the beach. The hostess is very kind and helped us with everything, she even called us a car to get us to a restaurant as the closest ones were closed. Would definitely stay here again!
