Der Ort Alaro hat sehr viel Charme und ist weit weg von den Touristengegenden. Das Haus ist umgeben von einem Obstgarten und sehr ruhig gelegen. Von dort kann man unkompliziert Touren mit dem Auto zu den Stränden im Norden machen oder in die Berge fahren. Palma ist 25 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Es lässt sich auch sehr gut am Haus entspannen und im sauberen Pool schwimmen. Wir konnten uns gut erholen und würden das Haus das nächste Mal wieder buchen. Der Besitzer hat uns alles gut erklärt und war sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Lovely, spotlessly clean and very well equipped house in very central area of Mallorca. Owner and agent very efficient. Delicious cake awaiting us on arrival.

De ontvangt door de huiseigenaar was hartelijk (met een zelfgebakken cake en confituur). Het huisje was proper en van het nodige materiaal voorzien.

Communication was very good from start to finish. Greeted at the property on arrival with instructions and a wonderful cake and jam. The house sits on the outskirts of Alaro, a lovely little town with a bakery and restaurants. The square is a fun place to be on Saturday; the morning has a lovely little market, in the evening after dinner dancing it becomes a meeting place with the locals, music and dancing. The house itself is very clean and comfortable and is a peaceful base from which to explore, whether on bike or in car. The pool is a welcome addition in the heat when having a relaxing day. We enjoyed our stay here and would definately recommend.

This house is about as perfect as it gets! Everything you need is here including air conditioning - essential after last week when we were there. 5-7 min stroll to the lovely Alaro square. Great service from Hortense at Fincas Hortense and the owner Lorenzo. Our second time here and we’ll certainly go back - but please can we gave some mirrors in the bedrooms?

We have rented many houses in Mallorca. As cyclists, we have never had a better location. Everything also works, it's not quite common. The garden is lovely, the pool is in the right location, the kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. Lorenzo and Petra offered a homemade, very good Mallorcan cake and marmalade on apricots from the garden. Strong recommendation!

Very well equipped & comfortable for us all.. A lot of space both indoors & out. Parking is not easy in Alaro, so the fact the house has plenty of space is a big bonus. Proved to be a great base for our cycle trips out. The town itself has a lot of character with plenty of choices for eating out.. Kitchen is also well equipped, should you decide to eat in. Towels ( indoor & out ) provided. Bed Linen provided. Dishwasher & Washing machine both worked very well. Property does have air conditioning.

Alaro is a pretty, hillside town with a wide choice of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the villa. The villa has everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday , including table tennis, barbecue and indoor games. A car is a must for visiting other parts of the island. Alaro is a convenient centre for exploring, especially the north of the island. Thank you to Lorenzo's wife who baked an absolutely delicious cake for us! The house was perfect and had plenty in door and out door space. The owner was absolutely lovely and presented us with homemade cake and jam. He gave advice on local restaurants and a bakers which sold fabulous bread and savoury pastries. We would recommend this house to anyone who wanted to experience the real Mallorca and the wonderful hospitality.

A lovely Villa set on the edge of the quaint Mallorcan town of Alaro. The villa was very comfortable and clean with a pleasant welcome from the owner Lorrenzo who provided us with a lovely homemade welcome lemon cake upon our arrival and fresh locally grown plums. The villa was very spacious for our party of four. It would be a little tight were 8 adults to stay there, more suitable for 4-6 adults or maybe two families with younger children in our opinion. It was equipped with a lovely pool that was self maintained. Also plenty of parking space for 3-4 vehicles if required. A lovely fruit orchard as part of the grounds and generally plenty of outside living space. There was a more than ample supply of crockery, cutlery and glasses but could do with more cooking pots and pans. It may also be beneficial to have mirrors in the bedrooms maybe attached to the inside of the wardrobe doors for example, an observation by the ladies of our party. Lastly the barbecue had seen better days and was on its last legs, rusty and not very inviting to use. A new Barbecue and or Paella gas ring, stand, pan and bottle would have been useful. However, we very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend Fincas Hortensia. Alaro itself is a lovely small town, very Mallorcan with a nice family feel and plenty of nice restaurants to enjoy the local food and wine. The town is around 20 minutes drive to Inca and around 25 minutes drive into Palma. 35-40 Euros by taxi to or from Palma. There is only one local taxi service in Alaro so one would need to book it in advance. The telephone number is advertised at the petrol station on the right coming into Alaro.

Well equipped and very comfortable house on the edge of Alaro - just a short stroll to the square. Air conditioning was a real treat. Owner was very helpful and fixed the one and only problem we had with the hot water the same day. Seeing the Red Kite hawk overhead each day was a bonus! Would highly recommend this house.

Vi havde en skøn ferie. Vi kunne tjekke ind efter eget behov. Værten var skøn, og vi blev vist rigtig fint på plads. Poolen med saltvand var perfekt til os, vi havde ti vandglade børn på 7 og 5 med. Alaró by var nem at nå til, kun 5-10 minutters gåtur til centrum, hvor er var en del spisesteder, med lækker mad, og en skøn isbutik. Alt i alt, fantastisk feriested hvis man ikke gider turist strandene.

With a warm welcome from Lorenzo we felt like we were being treated to a stay in is home. The fresh cake baked by his wife, the impeccably clean house and the orchard of walnut, fig and citrus trees all combined to make our stay wonderful. Alaro’s central location in the Serra Transmuntana was a bonus we didn’t realize until we arrived. It made travel to all the wonderful hiking areas much easier. Alaro itself was a wonderful quite town that had all the services we needed; grocery store, restaraunts and coffee shops. Highly recommended for its location, the wonderful house and pool, the prompt correspondence, the attention to detail, and of course the wonderful landlord.

Wunderschön am Ortsrand gelegenes Haus, umgeben von Oliven- Orangen- und Nussbäumen. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die ganze Atmosphäre, vor allem durch den wunderbaren Außenbereich um das Haus herum, lädt zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein.

Our stay was wonderful. The villa is everything as described and more. We were welcomed by a delicious homemade cake and jam made by the wife of the owner and told we could pick the fruit from the huge orchard of lemon, lime, pear and many more trees. The kids loved exploring for lizards and using the pool - perfect size for young children and for our 2 families. We were impressed with the facilities in the house with so much room, plenty of glasses for Cava and more! Lots of shade you could pick different areas throughout the day and wander into Alaro town just a 5 minute walk away. We were luckily to be part of their annual arts festival with life music, dance and family events a world away from the usual tourist spots on the island. The Saturday market was lovely and there were plenty of beaches within 50 mins drive. We will certainly recommend to others and would love to come back. Thank you for a fantastic holiday!

The property was clean and comfortable with great outdoor spaces to eat and relax by the pool. It's set amoungst fruit trees and only a short walk from Alaro, which is quiet but has enough restaurants and cafes to choose from. A good base to cycle from and a lovely pool to relax in at the end of the day.

The Finca is set with a lovely orchard out front with plenty of fruit to pick. The pool is first rate. The inside has good a/c and is clean and functional. Ants were a nuisance but probably unavoidable. It is within easy walking distance to the town although not great footpaths all the way. The mountain scenery is lovely. We did not venture beyond the town much as we had a baby with us. The owner was very pleasant. We would definitely recommend to others and would consider returning ourselves.

We have just returned from our 10 days away in Majorca. This place was ideal just 5-10mins walk from Alaro centre and set in lovely surroundings. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance, along with a lovely market every Saturday morning. A car is definatly needed if you are looking to go places, but there are lots of buses as well, that run through the village. The rooms are all air conditioned and the villa is well looked after, with 4 double bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen and a spacious lounge/dining area. Outside there are three areas were you are able to relax either in the sun or in the shade depending on the time of the day. The pool is perfect for all ages and well maintained on a daily basis. We went to Alaro due to my father living in the village, but it is a perfect location if you are looking to visit lots of places around the island. We would certainly consider using this rental again.

This place is everything you looking for holiday! It is spotlessly clean and we'll maintained, safe for children and has a bonus..... Garden! Lots of fruit trees ( you named)- Apple, fig, pear, lime, lemon, orange, peach, white and black grapes. And all of them are for your use. Wow! Town centre is 10min walk and Majorca is 30min drive. Communication was excellent. We did enjoy our holiday and will consider this property in future!!!

Just 15 minutes walk from the centre of this lovely Majorcan town, well appointed accommodation in a wonderful location amidst a manicured grove of fruit trees, great outside areas with excellent seating and dining areas, the front of the house is sheltered from the morning sun by two beautiful mature walnut trees shouldered by almond trees, the small pool is perfect for those who require a cool off but would not suit the enthusiastic swimmer, the property is fully secured and very quiet. The house is very clean, comfortable and adequately appointed, and for those who like to cook as we do the kitchen is excellent. The owners were most hospitable, we were welcomed with a wonderful Majorcan cake and a plum preserve, we were also given a tray of oranges from the grove and enjoyed freshly squeezed OJ every morning, this was followed later in the week by a bowl of cherries from the abundant tree, for us this house was perfect and a sheer delight, one of the nicest Villas we have ever stayed in, hopefully we shall return very soon.
