Immaculate Cottage On Beautiful Panther Pond
Belle, propre, lumineuse maison de 2 chambres à droite sur souhaitable Pond Panther! Cottage a 65 pieds de front de mer non obstrué avec une vue imprenable et un accès facile et confortable au lac. 2 grands escaliers rocheux jusqu'au fond sableux et un étonnant quai en aluminium avec des escaliers menant à l'eau et un banc pour se détendre. Idéal pour la pêche! Cottage a été entièrement rafraîchi pour la saison 2017 et offre un vaste plan d'étage ouvert avec un grand mur de fenêtres donnant sur le lac. . . on a l'impression d'être sur un bateau quand on est à la maison! Cuisine mise à jour avec des appareils en acier inoxydable et entièrement approvisionné avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour cuisiner. Grande table à manger pouvant accueillir 8 personnes. Plusieurs coins salons, dont un coin télévision avec une nouvelle Smart TV à écran plat 55 pouces et un espace confortable avec de belles bibliothèques et un foyer à gaz en état de marche. Les chambres ont de nouveaux matelas, oreillers et édredons en duvet avec housses de couette; pas besoin de souffrir de matelas inconfortables pendant vos vacances! La chambre 1 a un lit king size, la chambre 2 a un nouveau jumeau sur des lits superposés avec un lit gigogne. La salle de bain est propre et lumineuse avec laveuse et sécheuse. Grande terrasse du salon avec une vue magnifique sur le lac; des escaliers mènent à une belle pelouse et au lac. La propriété a été aménagée pour les familles et contient des jouets et des livres pour enfants. Des glaces, des sandwicheries et un marché sont à quelques minutes, l'établissement se trouve à 10 minutes de Windham et à 40 km de Portland. Mike is a great host. He was very responsive and thorough. The cottage was modern and the furniture was comfortable. Loved being able just to swim right in front of the cottage and wonderful for our little one. Lots of books, toys, and games for everyone. Quiet area, which was very relaxing. Kayaks and life vests were available for our own use. It was nice that it was accessible for a family member. Bonus for that! The stores were very close which was helpful. July can be very hot, ceiling fans and box fans were included.Lots of places to buy wood for the fire pit. What a great way to end a day!

Beautiful scenery, windows across back wall, we had welcoming snow (3/4-1 inch), snow plow guy arrived to clear driveway and entrance to house, it also snowed the day before we left (3/4-1 inch)...
Interior of home was very nice, high ceilings, nice appliances, (coffee maker could be updated), Nice tv, couch, chairs, dining table, very nice fire place (wasn't actually working though) and shelving with many books and games available. Binoculars were used each day...
Overall, we would certainly return, Five Star visit for us...

This cottage is beautiful! It has everything you could need and then some. The owner is very communicative and quick to answer questions. The kitchen is well stocked, there is lots of beddings, pillows, towels, etc. We spend an un-traditional Thanksgiving here and loved every minute! The view cannot be beat and we are already talking about booking for early next summer. It was just that perfect!

This is a beautiful property! The pictures don’t even do it justice! The house is perfect and the view is spectacular! Our host Mike was perfect as well. He gave us all of the information we would need ahead of time and even found out some specific information for us after our trip! My wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better property or host! Due to a medical condition we were unsure of our travel plans the day before our rental, but when we did arrive we felt immediately at peace in this comfortable and beautiful spot. There was plenty of room to spread out our activities and relax, plus the close access to the water made kayaking effortless. All of the appliances were in excellent condition and Mike responded quickly to our questions. I would certainly book again!

Nice place, beautiful view, updated inside, comfortable mattress, very spacious, lots of books, games, for kids and adults. Water toys, kayaks, rafts, etc. Well supplied kitchen. Nice washer and dryer. Barbecue grill, could be cleaned more often. Lots of couches, could be vacuumed and spot washed more often. Lots of towels, could add more face and hand towels.
Very hot and humid with no AC unit. Old box fans that were not providing any relief. Nice windows; however, not effective for any breeze. Could have better instructions in using the TV remotes. Instructions in the book were not helpful.
Overall nice place with a few suggestions, as stated above.

The property is beautiful and was so clean. Michael and his wife have thought of everything that you would need as well. I loved the built in bookshelves and the color-coded book arrangements. We didn't get to be outside much due to poor weather unfortunately, but would have loved the use of their kayaks. Panther Pond is so beautiful.
Michael was extremely quick to respond throughout our connection. There was a notebook with instructions within the cottage. I received an email as well. I was impressed with the detail.

Amazing property just steps away from the lake. Stayed on Panther Pond to do some fish. Having dock access made getting on and off the water extremely easy. Also a nice sandy swimming area to enjoy. The house was extremely well maintained. With numerous large windows you have great views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Above all our host was very accommodating. Would recommend spending a few days!

Despite the rainy weather, Our stay at the lake house was just WONDERFUL! My husband and I love the peace and serenity that the lake house and its extraordinary surroundings! Thank you Mike-for all the accommodations and "going the extra mile" to make our stay simply magical!

My wife and I took a late March trip and spent a week at this lovely property. Prior to our visit, Michael the owner was communicative and did everything possible to ensure we had the best getaway. The property is on a very large pond and the views were breathtaking. The home is so warm, comfortable and very well equipped. It was super clean, beds comfortable, tv had numerous channels, Wi-Fi no issue with connecting, kitchen amazing and plenty of books, games and puzzles. Plenty of local restaurants and sights to see- even in March. Anything we needed was there, we had no concerns and Michael checked in with us virtually to ensure all was going well. This is a 5 star property that is managed by a 5 star host. Go, you will not be dissapointed. I have little doubt that I would hope we can return to this wonderful again in the future.

We spent the perfect snowy weekend here and it was amazing! The little touches are beyond thoughtful. Every book, toy, nicknack, and peice of art was just what home would have. We loved the TONS of towels and LINENs! The pots and pans and conveniences of home are included! We loved EVERY PART of our stay!
Only improvement needed is large drive way marker/plow steak where rock is in the driveway at the turn. 2 of us hit when under snow.

What you see is what you get with this listing. It is accurate to what the house and property is like. Mike was quick to answer any questions I had before and during our stay. Like others have said, it is best to go with a vehicle that has 4 wheel drive. We hope to be back next winter.

Enjoyed a few days of cottage by the lake. Very nice property overall. Drive to property is steep and would need 4x4 if icy or snowing if you’re there in the winter. Loved the views from the family room and cottage very well stocked. Had a plumbing issue and host quickly responded and got a plumber out to solve it within hours on New Years Day. We would stay here again.

This cottage was a wonderful choice! The area was quiet and easy to get to. The cottage is charming and had all the essentials. You can not beat the view of the pond and the serenity it provides. Our stay there was wonderful and we would love to visit again.

I brought my family who was visiting from Minnesota. The cabin is beautiful and the availability of games and puzzles was a hit! The heat was a little finicky and takes a while to reach the full house. I’m not sure if I’d want to stay in the middle of winter. Also the drive way is a little steep and scary getting down to the cabin but other than that no location issues!
Overal we were very happy.

Wow!!! What a view as soon as you walked into the front door it’s the lake. Location of the residence was great with easy access and parking. My wife and I enjoyed the stay and the house was exactly the way it was described on VRBO. Mike, the owner was very helpful and personally provided us with an abundance of attractions to visit and places to eat. All the recommended places were excellent as well. Overall the experience and stay was great. Thanks again for allowing us to utilize your residence hope to stay again in the near future.

Picture perfect
We had an amazingly peaceful time here on Panther Pond. The place was exactly as described. Mike was communicative and gave plenty of suggestions on what to do and where to eat. We’d definitely come back!
One negative was that the living room furniture was not the most comfortable, but for the limited time we actually spent in front of the tv it was a very minor inconvenience.
All in all, I couldn’t have chosen a better place for our first trip to Maine.

What you see is what you get--and so much more--- a beautiful peaceful environment overlooking the pond and mountains, canoe rides and relaxation in the wonderful town of Raymond. The owner, Mike could not have been more accommodating and considerate..THANK YOU and hope to do it again next year...

Spring is a beautiful time to visit the lake
We had a wonderful stay this spring. We saw loons, bufflehead ducks, mallard ducks, merganser ducks and a beaver. We visited the Sebago Lake state park and the Sebago to Sea trail. Very restful and comfortable. We even got to use the fireplace at night when the temperature dropped.

Great location for family ice fishing getaway!
We live locally but decided to book a family getaway for a long weekend of ice fishing and this house was the perfect spot. Right on the water, easy on/off with gear for 24/7 fishing. House was clean and better than expected when we arrived. Owner responded almost immediately to any questions and was very helpful and easy to work with. Will definitely be visiting again for our next trip.

Ice fishing trip
We went for an ice fishing trip during February vacation. The house was awesome with all the necessities you could need. Location of the house to town and bars/ restaurants was great. The house was perfect for what we needed with two young boys and a baby. We had a blast on the lake catching a time of small mouth bass just out front. We will definitely be booking again.

Perfect winter getaway!
We loved your cottage and it was a great spot to gather our Maine family. The guys were able to ice fish right out in front and we were able to watch and admire their catch! The cottage had everything we needed and was great for our little granddaughter. I wish you could have seen her face when she came in and ran around checking it all out...including all the great toys. Kitchen worked great, beds were very comfortable and it was a great spot to hang out and reconnect with family. Owners were VERY accommodating! Thank you for sharing this cottage. We hope to rent again in the future.

Great place for a weekend get away
We stayed for a weekend and did some ice fishing right out in front of the rental. Beautiful sunrises in the morning looking out over the pond. We had everything we needed and the home was very clean and comfortable! Owner is also very easily accessible if any issues arise. Highly recommend!

Fantastic View
We loved our stay! The cottage was clean, the king bed was quite comfortable, and the kitchen had all the supplies we needed. The loons fished just outside the windows every morning around 7:30 - it was awesome to see them each day. We visited Freeport, Portland, and Rangeley while staying at the cottage and hiked a few trails in the vicinity.

Wonderful 3 day start to our fall in Maine! Beautiful setting, convenient location. The “pond” was gorgeous and the house frames it perfectly. Quiet kayak paddles and short trips around the area to view the beautiful surroundings. Great food and great communication made this a hit with all.
