Burke Mountain Getaway. Great Spot For Mountain Biking, Skiing, Sight Seeing
Vous cherchez à notre escapade Burke Mountain. Cette maison a été récemment construit il ya quelques années et dispose d'un dortoir bas qui peuvent accueillir 7, une chambre à l'étage pouvant accueillir 4, et une mezzanine qui peut accueillir 3. Il y a 2 3/4 salles de bains, une à chaque étage. Il ya aussi une grande salle qui est attaché à une grande terrasse qui donne sur la grande cour par champ qui est entouré de bois. Il y a une cuisine complète ainsi que d'un gril à charbon sur le pont. Il y a aussi une salle de télévision en bas avec un lecteur DVD. Il y a aussi wifi haut débit. Dehors, il y a un grand champ / colline qui mène à une zone de foyer et la piste de la pompe. Passé le foyer est une rivière qui est assez profond pour patauger. Il ya quelques sentiers de randonnée de courte durée sur la propriété et une petite cabane en aval de la rivière. La propriété est 3/4 d'un mile de W. Darling, route Hill et est une courte pédale pour le réseau de sentiers Uni Trail.

Property was great but needs more amenities like paper towels, laundry detergent, forks, utensils, and the toaster oven doesn’t turn off could burn place down. It feels like a bachelor set it up.

We had a great stay at this house for our annual mountain bike trip. The house was comfortable and offered everything we needed for a 3-night stay. We'd definitely return.

The house was great with lots of space for our big family.
There were more rooms/beds than described so we were able to fit everyone comfortably.
Grounds were fun and the kids loved sledding and exploring the little river and trails in the woods.
Not enough forks in the kitchen but we did ok.

The house was quaintly located down a long private driveway. Conventionally located to Burke Mountain and snowshoe trails. The outside property was beautiful. We used the large yard with our sleds and snowboards. We also enjoyed long walks on the back trails with our dogs.
The house was spacious with plenty of bedrooms for all our guests to enjoy their own space or to come together at the handcrafted table for family style meals and game nights. The only drawback for me was that the kitchen was not well supplied with cleaning supplies or trash bags. In addition, the trash barrels were full and we had to transport some of our trash home with us.
I would request this property again in the future and pack accordingly now that I am familiar with this wonderful vacation home.

Short drive to many of the parking trail heads, about 10 minutes away from Darling Hill and downtown. Nice open house. Plenty of beds. Great backyard. I would book again.

We had a fun time here. There were a few bumps in the beginning, but the owner was quick to mitigate them. There is plenty of room. The kids had fun on the pump track in the yard and a short walk through the woods gets you to a nice little swimming area in the stream. The kitchen is well supplied, it could use a few more forks though. This house does have the spiral staircase and I would recommend bringing a baby gate if you have younger children. It is right next to the shooting range, something to keep in mind if you have a dog sensitive to loud noise. The shooting was not too bothersome from a human point of view. We would stay here gain.

We stayed here with two other families of 4, the place had plenty of beds for everyone and had plenty of room to spread out. The table fit everyone for large dinners and games in the evening. It was close to the Kingdom Trails, but also pretty secluded for privacy. The back yard was awesome with the fire pit and the stream behind the house. Was perfect for jumping in after biking all day. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would consider staying here again.

Beautiful property and home. Well maintained, in a beautiful area with many amenities. Only minutes from a small town. It is not listed on the description that the property is adjacent to a skeet shooting range! We were woken up shooting at 8am and it went all day long! I would definitely not recommend this home for dogs or young children due to the noise and the stairs.

4th time we rent this cabin. It's always a pleasure to go back there. Lots of space, beds, outdoor land around the place.

This is not a first time we are staying at Bill's house. We always have wonderful time biking and enjoying beautiful house, grill and fire pit in the evening.

We loved the house! it had a great place to hang out for dinner and fun and plenty of sleep spaces for a good sized group. Easy to get to the mountain to ski. Plenty of parking for all (even in a snowy winter!) Thanks!

Easy access to Burke Mountain and about 1 hour from Jay peak plus great x country trails nearby. Two families shared the house - kids fit well in the basement and the large table was great for our crew.

The house was nice although some of the bunk beds could use repair. The location was great for snowshoeing with miles of trails right out the back yard. Also not far from the mountain and Kingdom Trails.

We stayed the weekend for my daughter’s wedding at Burke Mountain. Proximity to lodge was great and the house could accommodate my entire family!

We had a lovely time here. It fit all of us really well. I was worried that it would be tight but it was just right. We used the back deck a lot. If we had to complain about anything, it would be the shooting range. We did hear it quite often. It didn’t bother us during the day since we mountain bike all day. We would definitely consider it again with 11 people.

Our group of four dads and four sons had a great long weekend at this property. The listing does not show how nice the place actually is. The kids loved the pump track and swimming in the river.

Comfortable, spacious cottage
This cottage was a great place to stay while we were skiing at Burke Mountain. Very comfortable, with lots of room for our group of 4 adults and 4 teenagers, and in a peaceful location. The trail through the woods behind the house was a nice surprise as well.

Great Family Weekend
My family and I decided to do a weekend away to celebrate the holidays, and Bill's place did not disappoint! Temps dropped to below -15 degrees with -40 degree wind chills so we didn't spend much time outdoors, but there was plenty of space at the table for games and food and fun! So many more people could stay here, we were a small group of 6. Larger groups might have to bring their own plates and silverware as there were just enough for us. Thanks for the lovely weekend!

The perfect white Christmas
My family (6 people in total with a small dog) stayed at this beautiful house for Christmas 2021. The house is very spacious and perfectly designed for large group socialization, while also providing nooks of privacy when needed. The view from the main deck is stunning, overseeing a large pristine forest and a small hill. The house is secluded and private, with a very well stocked kitchen, and a very cozy fireplace. We absolutely loved our stay here and can't wait to have the opportunity to return. Thank you Bill!

Family Gateaway
Great place to stay with the our college kids and their grandparents. The layout is generous and lots of space for all. We had a comfortable and relaxing stay where we all got to catch up with each other for a couple of days. The kitchen has everything you need to fix meals. The beds were comfortable and the towels were fluffy.
The property is surrounded by beautiful trees where you can appreciate the great outdoors. We enjoyed our stay and would come back happily.

Annual mountain biking weekend
This is the 5th time we've stayed at this rental. It works out great for a co-ed group, with the guys down in the bunk area (2 rooms) and the women upstairs. We love the spacious main area for eating/playing games/hanging out. The deck is nice - we didn't use the pump track this year, but we have in the past (especially fun with headlamps). The place is clean and comfortable - definitely on the list again for next year.

You can ride right from the house and get on new trails. 15min from Lake Willoughby, Lyndonville with grocery. Basement perfect for older kids. TV with DVD, big couch, lots of beds to hang. Much cooler down there too! Laundry was great addition. Main floor was nice. Big wood table for us all to sit but couches def need updating. Kitchen is nice, gas stove is great, but in desperate need of utensils, bowls, new pans. Dogs loved the river to swim in. And kids liked trying out the pump track at bottom of hill. It was a hot week so the fans came in handy. The shooting range was a bit annoying but dogs got used to it. Starts at 8am!! Was great having sheets on beds when we got there. Very clean. Bed on main floor is a full size, could use a lamp, only overhead lighting everywhere.Overall it was a good stay. Owner very responsive.
