This property is in a great setting. Dead end road and close to Helen. Just me and my wife and we had plenty of room. Loved the hot tub and porch. Everything worked fine and owner was quick to reply to any messages. Would love to make a return visit.

This is a great cabin that was immaculately clean. Conveniently located to Helen and a short 30 min drive to Dahlonega. Stayed three nights with a 12 year old daughter and a 16 year old son. Place was small enough to be cozy but large enough to be comfortable. Kids shared the loft with my daughter in the bunk and son in the queen bed. My family agreed it was a perfect get away and are looking forward to coming again in the summer to get out and enjoy all the area has to offer. Host communicates quickly and accurately and also included great area advice with the introduction. Overall great experience

Superb communication, beautiful cabin, very clean and very accessible. An absolutely wonderful getaway in all categories.

My family (2 adults, 2 kids) spent Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin. Everything was perfect. The cabin is secluded in the woods yet close enough to everything Helen had to offer. The cabin was clean upon arrival and had all the necessities for our stay. The hot tub was enjoyable after long days hiking and exploring the town. We are already considering our next trip to Helen to enjoy the summertime activities and will look to stay here again.

Compared to other Vrbo listings I've stayed at, this one was pretty much bare essentials. For the price, it would have been nice to have some kcups for the Keurig and bottled water. Also, the towels could stand an upgrade. Was expecting more of an open view of the mountains but that was not the case. It was surrounded by dense woods.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet getaway and we definitely found it. The cabin was easily accessible from Helen GA. We found it to be clean and well maintained. It was a perfect retreat fir our trip. Although it felt isolated, the nearby town was a short drive away with plenty of restaurants and country shops. I would definitely recommend giving this place a look for your relaxed stay in the area.

The booking process and communication with the owner was great! Directions to the property were spot on and the roads in were fun and easily accessible in our mid-sized SUV (GMC Terrain). When we opened the door we thought this property was brand new. Spotless clean. Absolutely gorgeous! Everything we needed was available and all the ammenities (and more) were working to perfection. Theres a wrap-around deck with benches and rockers to just sit to take in the peace and serenity of the mountain. The bed was extremely comfortable. There were just the two of us but this property can easily sleep four adults and a couple kids. The hot tub was clean, hot, and ready to go and we used it to relax after getting in from our excursions. Speaking of excursions...every place we wanted to go was nearby and it was nice to spend time more time out of the car. All you really need to bring is your clothing, food, charcoal, TP, detergent, and you're good to go. The owner keeps this place in tip top condition and it shows. On our checkout day we saw a small group of doe deer walk right below the deck and between this property and the next. What a send off! A special thanks to Steve Neal for making my birthday celebration one of the best ever! We hope to return in the future with the grand kids!

We were visiting from Australia, we absolutely loved this cabin it was such an authentic experience for us. It was super clean, very comfortable, so many thoughtful inclusions. Thanks for having us stay!

We booked Sautee Woods instead of a hotel for a clogging workshop in the area and we are so glad we did. It was wonderful to come back at night after a full day of clogging and put our feet up and relax. The hosts have thought of everything you might possibly need. The cabin was clean and well furnished. It’s close to plenty of restaurants and shopping and the downtown Helen area but secluded enough to enjoy woods and peace and quiet. Our only regret is that we didn’t plan for more time to just hang out, play some games, soak in the welcoming hot tub or chill by the fire pit. That’s definitely on the agenda for next year. Thank you for a delightful visit to the Blue Ridge area.

Relaxing!

We had a wonderful time staying in the cabin. It’s peaceful and quiet with beautiful scenery. The only reason I gave a four on the property was just because the gravel road leading to the property has a bit of an incline, going up and down. My Kia soul was able to make it with no problem, but if you’re not used to gravel roads it can look a little intimidating. But since the cabin is in the woods and not a suburban area, you have to take that into consideration as well.

This place is amazing! Private but not hard to get to. SUPER CLEAN and spacious! Much better than the pictures. Comfortable beds and couches. Large, clean hot tub that was so nice after a day of hiking. Great fire pit out back for the cooler nights. The porch is a wrap around with plenty of rocking chairs to take in the quiet. Close to Helen if that’s your thing but we loved it’s proximity to all the waterfalls and mountain hikes. Owner was great. Check-in was easy. Will be back. Beautiful property! Thanks Steve.

This was our first stay at this property. We have been to this area many times and this was one of our favorite cabins! It was very clean and owner was easily reached if needed. Location is very convenient to Helen. Enjoyed seeing deer by the cabin almost daily. Will definitely be back!

Fist let me start off by saying the homeowner was extremely kinda and made sure everything was met for our family. The house was clean the hot tub was very nice and clean. My in-laws stayed upstairs and the only time I could hear them at all. I loved the screened in porch area. Every morning we saw at least one deer which was pretty cool to sit and relax on the patio and watch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The host was very informative and helpful. The property itself is secluded in that you can’t see any of the nearby properties, so it was a very nice balance of privacy, but also close enough to town if you need to grab something at the store. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely book this cabin!

We only stayed in the cabin for a few days but it was a perfect fit for our family. It was clean and comfortable. Owner was quick to respond to questions and provided some very useful information prior to our arrival. My 3 teenage boys enjoyed having their own bedroom upstairs with a tv and bathroom. The cabin had everything you need and the hot tub was a nice bonus. Very relaxing to come back to after experiencing the hustle and bustle of Helen (gets very crowded on the weekends). My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs watching and listening to the birds. We even saw a family of deer one evening. The neighborhood is very quiet. We only saw a few cars coming and going during our stay. There is so much to see and do in the area. 3 days just wasn't enough. We will defintely come back when we can stay longer!

This was our second trip to Sautee Nacoochee and “Sautee Woods” cabin was fantastic. Steve was the perfect host again! We stayed in his other cabin across the street last year. He was very quick to respond to any questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin had a cozy LR with very comfortable recliners & sofa. The kitchen was well stocked with everything. Hot tub was great! Restaurants & shopping were close. Nacoochee Village and Tavern Pizzeria had great pizza & Bigg Daddy’s had the best burger. Highly recommend both. This was the perfect cabin for comfort, privacy and price. Thank you again Steve for your gracious hospitality. We hope to return next year.
