Breakaway Holiday House - close to beach
“Maison de vacances échappée”
Situé en ville dans la magnifique baie de Streaky, cette maison de vacances très confortable et climatisée de 3 chambres a presque tous les rendez-vous modernes. Aménagée pour accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes, la chambre principale a un lit queen, une seconde a un lit double et la troisième a deux lits superposés. Chaque chambre est recouverte de moquette et dispose de ventilateurs de plafond pour un confort d'été accru. Tous les lits ont des oreillers et des dunas, et les clients peuvent choisir d'apporter leur propre linge ou louer le nôtre (30 $ / séjour. Veuillez nous informer par téléphone ou par e-mail si vous souhaitez prendre cette option).
Il y a un grand salon-salle à manger confortable avec TV / DVD; wifi à NBN, et vue sur l'eau. La cuisine est très bien équipée avec réfrigérateur, cuisinière / four, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes et tous les ustensiles de cuisine, vaisselle et couverts susceptibles d'être nécessaires. La buanderie a une machine à laver et un congélateur coffre séparé pour le stockage des aliments (et vos prises de poisson !!).
La grande cour est entièrement clôturée, contient un cabanon pour bateau ou voiture, et il y a une grande véranda arrière avec des sièges en plein air et un barbecue pour cuisiner / recevoir à l'extérieur. Des installations de nettoyage du poisson sont fournies à l'arrière avec un évier, de l'eau courante et une lumière.
La maison est à 5 minutes à pied du centre-ville, de la jetée, de la plage, de l'hôtel, du bureau de poste, des magasins, des cafés, etc., et à 2 minutes en voiture du débarcadère le plus proche.
Breakaway peut être réservé pour un minimum de 3 nuits en haute saison ou 2 nuits à d'autres moments.

Breakaway Holiday House was a great place to spend a few days in the lovely town of Streaky Bay. The house is old in style & has a few squeaky floor boards, but this adds to the charm of the house & the holiday feel. The location of the house is wonderful, only a short 3-4min walk into town & the foreshore.
The house is comfortably furnished, clean and a well equipped kitchen. There is plenty of space to park and an outside seating area. If we were to return to Streaky Bay, we would love to stay at Breakaway again.

Our second time staying in Breakaway. It's the perfect little house for a trips to Streaky. A short walk from the town centre and jetty but tucked away where it's nice and quiet.
A nice touch was the A/C already being on for us when we arrived as the weather was very hot. It was beautiful to walk in to a nice cool space.
Would recommend Breakaway for families or small groups.

Overall very good property & excellent, quiet location.
Good facilities.
Would have been good to have some "essentials" that many other places we have stayed have provided - alfoil, glad wrap, spray, bottled oil & egg rings.
Very sasified with our stay & will be booking again for next year.

Breakaway is the perfect holiday house with everything you could need. Plenty of room for cars and boats, on a quiet street, lovely glimpses of the bay and only a quick stroll into the heart of Streaky.
Inside was immaculately clean with a modern kitchen and bathroom. My 2 favourite things were the wrap around window in the master bedroom and the Nespresso machine. We booked agin for next year right away.

This is a good place, clean, good facilities with an excellent outdoor space for a bbq or sitting.
The house is close to town in a quiet area near the hospital. Bernie is a good host.

We spent our days fishing and cleaned our catch in the evening. There is plenty for freezer space. Next time we hope to catch more fish. Thank you!

The property was well presented with both appliances and furnishings. Thanks for supply laundry powder and dishwasher tablets an expense we did not have to make. Perhaps an addition of a hair dryer and tissues would have been a nice inclusion too when staying for a period of days.

Close to town. Lovely quiet spot. Cute house. An enjoyable 3 days exploring the region. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and crockery, cutlery etc. Recommended.

The house is in a great location close to the main street with all things required to make a great stay.

Comfortable space
Drift is an older home but has recently had a new kitchen and bathroom put in so makes it a pleasant and comfortable stay. Good range of kitchen facilities and utensils, making it easy to eat in, which is handy as there wasn't much open when we stayed, Monday to Wednesday. Good location, walk to everything. Has good WiFi, which was a blessing as our phones had no reception whilst in Streaky.

Great fishing trip
A great base camp for fishing holiday. Suitable to take your own boat over for the perfect fishing trip at Streaky Bay and Bairds Bay. Owner is friendly, communicative and helpful, will stay again!

Lovely little house
Great house that was perfect for our family. Had everything we needed and was within walking distance to the shops and jetty. Easy booking and check in system and will be hoping it's available when we next head to Streaky Bay.

Was a comfortable house in a great location in Streaky bay.
Had a few hiccups but Bernie sorted them out promptly. Only one thing was the toilet in the bathroom. Not great when people showering and you need to go.

A great getaway
We had a lovely 5 nights at ‘Breakaway’. Location was great - just a short stroll to both the Main Street and beach. It was clean and comfortable with good facilities. However, it would have been even better to be provided with more of the basics (ie 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 dishwasher tablet and no washing powder for 5 people for 5 nights was a a bit disappointing- particularly when the local shops were closed for 2 days!).

Good holiday home
Good little home with everything you need. Large driveway which allowed us to park 2 4wds with plenty of space to unpack and reorganise before continuing our travels. Would recommend to other travellers.
