The house was more than we were expecting! My husband, our 3 adult children and myself had absolutely the BEST vacation!!! The pool was fantastic, we'll have to book here again to have another chance to see the Manatee & Iguanas, think it was too cool for them. Great property right on the water. Plenty of rooms for a family of 7, and extremely clean and well-maintained. Jan was extremely responsive and we look forward to returning again in the future.

This was our second year visiting Islamorada and staying at this location. Nice, quiet location with beautiful, private back yard/view of water. Pool was appreciated by our adult kids. Internet was great for two that had to work remotely. Plenty of room to spread out and spaces for all be together. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of cookware. Downstairs room could use a deep cleaning/dehumidifier-has a bit of a dank smell-helped to have doors/windows open. Couple that stayed in that room appreciated the bathroom makeover! We all appreciated the dock refurbishment. No manatees this year but still a great visit. Thanks!

Everything was great. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Had a manatee visit us at the dock. A mini frig. In the downstairs suite would be good. We received prompt responses. Went to the famous Alligator Reef a couple times. Caught some Mahi. Going back in a few weeks!

This was our second stay. Location is perfect for our boat and family of 7 with a 10 month old child. We hope to return next year. Property managers and owner are very quick to respond to questions or concerns. Already booked for next year!!

The place is as pictured. The pool deck is the highlight of the place. We fished from the dock for 5 days. We chummed the day we arrive and lyle the croc came to visit that evening and again 2 evenings later which was concerning and ended our fishing quickly for that day. There are some snappers and pinfish to be caught. Use an 8-10 lb flouro or mono line tied to a size 6 aberdeen long shank hook, no weight. The fish preferred squid, and bonita baits. If you can find live shrimp, that will increase your chances of catching a fish. Fishing the Channel 2 bridge in the morning with live shrimp is also good depending on the tide. We left our beach chair, a 5 galloon bucket and a 7ft rod and reel combo with used tackle for future renters. We saw a 4 ft kiddie rod and reel combo and a bucket in the rental place. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great time with family! Kids loved the pool and fishing from the dock. 2nd time staying here…hopefully will be back.

This house was better than expected Immaculately clean Beautiful pool and boat dock. Near good restaurants and very private location There is a crocodile 🐊 we named Lyle that lives in the water behind the house. We saw a manatee and tons of colorful fish. Fishing was great. Lazy day’s restaurant we discovered on this trip was amazing. We had the best vacation 6 adults 1 15 year old The washer / dryer was an added bonus Cannot wait to book another trip back to this property

The house was very comfortable and roomy. Had all the accommodations to stay in and cook. The pool was great for my grands. The dock was paradise. We saw a manatee. We caught mangrove snapper. Everything you could want in a vacation. 10 stars. Host was great

Some things need a little work; dock, outdoor lighting, track lighting, pool light but overall we were very happy and had a great time! Fantastic pool!

Ms. Jan is the best host and her house is beautiful! The dock is super convenient, even with an outdoor freezer for bait! The pool is amazing and heated! The neighborhood is very safe and great for bike riding and walking. We throughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning on coming back soon!

Really enjoyed fishing off the dock and swimming in the heated pool. Everyone in our group had a great time.

House was very spacious. Private and within driving distance to marinas and restaurants.

My husband, three adult kids and partner of one stayed for a week at this property. The house itself is good-well stocked but could use some TLC. Very clean and plenty of room to spread out. Modern appliances in the kitchen. Loved the wine fridge. W/D in room below living area need a little upgrade but still appreciate having the option. The setting of this house was perfect for us. No boat but loved the view and ability to see the fish and other creatures swimming about. Our first full day at the house, a manatee swam to the dock while we were all there, stuck its head out of the water as if to say “hi” and proceeded to munch on the vegetation on the inlet floor and poles of the dock. It was amazing! We saw the manatee several times while there but the first encounter was the best. Great location in the Keys-easy to go north or south with many things to do only a short drive away. Our adult kids loved the pool and were in it daily. They loved (as did we) the opportunity to spend time together and time apart. The very private back yard and dock were perfect for us. Jan was available and responsive but VRBO was having some issues and questions weren’t answered because the site wasn’t notifying owner. Finally sent a text and got a quick response….moral-contact her directly. We would definitely go back and highly recommend the house, location and owner! It was a great vacation! Thank you!

Property is older but in relatively good condition. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well appointed. Bathrooms need updating. Common sitting areas were in great condition and well furnished. Location was excellent!

Three adult couples stayed for a week in October- this is the third time our group has rented Jan’s house, and we love it!! Great house with plenty of room, nice appliances, brand new beautiful pool deck, and an amazing dock for our rental boat. Everything you need for a great vacation! We hope to be back soon!!

We will definitely stay here again! Location is great and had easy access to the bay and Atlantic. The house was clean, spacious and definitely has character. Some renovations are needed, but nothing that stopped us from having a great time.

We vacationed with our 3 adult children and their spouses. There was plenty of room. We rented a boat and fished all week, but looked forward to our return to swim and cook out. Fun times in the keys!

The backyard is the star of this property! The pool, water view, lush greenery. Coffee on the upper deck, cocktails and chatting in the lower covered patio. Lots of natural light and plenty of room to spread out. Great parking, too. Host was very kind, generous and responsive. An older property - tons of character! We will stay here again!

The rental was a good fit for our family if 6 adults (3 couples). The dock was great for our 22 ft. boat and was well protected during a very windy storm. The house is well equipped with almost everything we needed. Nice neighborhood and private lot. A couple of things of improvement: beach towels for the pool, pool furniture fixed, hot water in lower level sink, and regular deep cleaning and maintenance.

We had a lovely week at this property, what a little jungle oasis it was. Surrounded by beautiful trees, was very private. The house was very clean and well taken care of, loved to have the full kitchen. We only ate out twice during the week. The dock was perfect for the kids to fish and we also rented kayaks to use. We would definitely return to the same property in the future if available.

Six adults had plenty of room. The kitchen had all the pans that one could possibly need to cook simple vacation meals. Appliances worked great. It is an older home as mentioned in other reviews but any issue one may have is resolved quickly. You do have to go outside to access the laundry and the 2nd master suite. Excellent location in a nice neighborhood. Priced right for the area.

The host was responsive, helpful and pleasant. The rental location was secluded and beautifully landscaped. The house was very nice. The pool was nicely maintained and we enjoyed it a lot. We fished off the docks and even saw a few small sharks. This place was amazing. Will be renting it again next year.

Great house, we love the layout and location. Plenty of room, all the amenities! The dock was great for the rental boat. We fished all day, relaxed in the pool in the evenings, and visited a couple of the great restaurants in the area. This is the second time our group has stayed at the house this year, and we would definitely stay here again! We are looking forward to planning our next trip. Thanks for the great accommodations!!
