La propriété se compose de 2 maisons indépendantes, l'une occupée par les propriétaires et l'autre proposée à la location, l'accès commun se faisant par un hall d'entrée spacieux.
Les pièces sont lumineuses et décorées avec soin, offrant chacune de très belles vues sur le château et la vallée.
Les deux chambres (une au rez de chaussée, l'autre à l'étage) sont très confortables avec lits de 160 x 200, chacune ayant sa salle d'eau particulière avec douche à l'italienne spacieuse et WC séparé. Les deux chambres ont maintenant chacune leur climatisation.
La cuisine est agréable et fonctionnelle : lave vaisselle, plaque vitrocéramique, four à pyrolyse, micro-ondes, lave linge séchant...
Dans le séjour attenant à la cuisine se trouve le coin repas et le salon avec 2 fauteuils et un canapé 3 places face à la terrasse et au jardin. Chaîne Hifi, TV et DVD (CD à disposition).
La chambre du rez de chaussée et le salon s'ouvrent sur la terrasse bordée de rosiers et lavandes.
La piscine chauffée de 10 x 4 mètres est en balcon avec vue sur la vallée avec une terrasse permettant de prendre des bains de soleil sur les transats.
La terrasse est équipée d'un salon de jardin qui permet de prendre les repas sous un grand parasol face à la piscine et au paysage.

We had 8 nights in this guesthouse, which is perfect for a family of 4 (or 2 couples) with one room + bathroom on each floor, and a small, but nice kitchen/livingspace downstairs. The best part is of course the terrasse with beautiful garden and view - and the pool. Pool and garden are in theory shared with the hosts, but they go out of the way to secure privacy for the guests, so this is not an issue.
The location is very good - several nice trips to small villages, markets and nature sights within 30-45 min drive. The village of Lacoste is within walking distance - a historical and very scenic, but "lazy" village, however with a small supermarket (possible to reserve baguettes and croissants for the next morning) and 2 restaurants. The hosts, Bruno and Catherine, where very welcomming and helpful with advice etc.
We normally don't come back to the same location as the world has much to offer - but we might actually do an exception in this case.

We were here during an intense heatwave in August, so after a day of visiting nearby Bonnieux, Avignon, Roussillon etc, it was marvelous to come back to a clean, clear, refreshing swim in the pool and air conditioned bedroom. Our hosts were generous with their time and tips for making the most of our stay. We hope to return!

This is our second visit to this beautiful villa, and there will be more to come. The house is beautifully decorated and maintained. The property and the views are stunning. Catherine and Bruno are very welcoming and most helpful. Already dreaming of our next trip.

Beautiful house, beautiful garden and beautiful view.
This is a stunning house set on the edge of the picturesque village of Lacoste. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind and equally a good base to explore the Luberon.
The owners are most helpful and are there to offer advice and suggestions but are always discreet.
The house is well equipped, tastefully furnished and the pool and gardens are immaculate.
We spent an extremely hot week here but enjoyed the shade of the cedar forest and early morning bike rides and walks into the village to the bakery.
We shall return!

Traumhafter Erholungsurlaub
Nicht nur das traumhafte Haus mit dem herrlichen Garten und erfrischenden Pool und die wundervolle Landschaft, sondern auch die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft von Bruno und Catherine machten unseren Urlaub einzigartig. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen, so stellt man sich einen Traumurlaub vor!!

Excellent guesthouse stay
We very much enjoyed our stay in this house, with beautiful views over the valley. The friendly owners are always happy to help, but stay mostly at a distance so you keep your privacy (do keep in mind that this is the guesthouse, you share the grounds with the owners). The house is well maintained and decorated with charm. The garden especially is wonderful and the swimming pool kept clean to perfection by the proud owners. We will certainly consider staying here again when we are in the region.

Excellent séjour à Lacoste aux Agapanthes !
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Catherine et Bruno aux Agapanthes. Très belle location de très bon standing et décorée avec goût. Le jardin avec la vue sur le château de Lacoste est magnifiquement entretenu et la piscine grande et agréable a été très appréciée ! Très bonne localisation à proximité du village de Lacoste et au calme. Les hôtes Catherine et Bruno sont très accueillants et à l écoute. On conseille vivement cette location pour découvrir le Luberon !

Charme et tranquillité au coeur du Luberon
Les propriétaires sont prévenants et attentifs mais discrets. La maison est très agréable et fonctionnelle avec une décoration soignée, le jardin est sublime et la vue depuis la grande piscine est à couper le souffle. Cette location est idéale de par son emplacement pour visiter le Luberon mais également pour ceux qui désireraient simplement profiter du calme et des joies de la baignade.

Tres bonnes prestations à Lacoste
Catherine et Bruno sont des personnes charmantes , aux petits soins avec nous. Dès votre arrivée, tout est bien pensé avec un kit de bienvenu (confiture, huile, pate..) .
Bref beaucoup d'attention et de bienveillance de leur part qui ont rendu ce séjour tres agréable et reposant.

Magnifique !
We have spent a wonderful week at this perfect place with our two daughters (15,13). The house is very beautiful. The interior design of Les Agapanthes is lovingly furnished and tastefully decorated. It is a wonderful property with a beautiful garden and a fantastic pool. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the magnificent view and the walks to Lacoste through the streets of this small and very atmospheric village. And we would like to thank the homeowners Catherine and Bruno so much for the great hospitality and the more than convenient stay. We hope to be able to return to this little piece of paradise and would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Provence!

Perfect vacation in Lacoste
Our week at Les Agapanthes fulfilled all our expectations. A wonderful house in a beautiful garden with stunning surroundings and view made our holiday simply perfect. The house was practical and very tasteful decorated. We spent a lot of time in the garden with the beautiful flowers and herbs and the clean and delicate poolarea. Everything was so proper and wellmaintained. Les Agapanthes is also a perfect startingpoint to get to know small villages in the area within short distance driving. The hosts are very kind and friendly and easy to relate to. We loved every minute of our stay. Highly recommended!

Phantastischer Blick, sehr schöner Garten, guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, Erholung pur
Das Ferienhaus hat alles, was es für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wohn- und Schlafräume sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Obwohl die Terasse der Vermieter nur durch eine Schutzwand getrennt ist, waren wir wegen des diskreten Verhalten völlig ungestört. Das Haus ist auch für zwei Paare gut geeignet, da beide Schlafzimmer gleichwertig sind. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Compact and bijou gite set in beautiful gardens with a fantastic view over the valley. Although attached to the owners own property, Bruno and Catherine are charming hosts and not in the least intrusive. Would be happy to recommend to family and friends and would definitely go back.

Stylish accommodation in a beautiful setting.
Everything about Les Agapanthes was perfect. The setting is beautiful with stunning, panoramic views over the Luberon and is ideally located for trips around the region. The house itself is stylish and decorated to a standard well above our expectations and previous experience. This made our two week stay feel very much like being at home. The outdoor area is perfect for relaxing and includes a very well maintained pool with lots of space in the beautiful garden for sun bathing, petanque or table tennis. Bruno and Catherine are perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome yet ensured we had complete privacy. We arrived late on the first day and were so grateful for their gift of wine and a light supper. This was the highlight of our 8 week holiday and provides memories that we will treasure.

Herrlicher Blick in gepflegtem Ambiente
Wir waren mit zwei Kindern in Lacoste, die vor allem den großen, allmorgendlich gereinigten Pool genossen haben. Haus und Terrasse sind bestens ausgestattet und hübsch eingerichtet, der Blick von der Terrasse ist fulminant. Und die Gastgeber, die unmittelbar nebenan wohnen, sind ausgesprochen herzlich, helfen und beraten bei Bedarf, halten sich aber ansonsten diskret im Hintergrund.

A superb holiday in a great property
Les Agapanthes is a lovely house, very well decorated and very well equipped. It stands in beautiful gardens with a pool with stunning views. Lacoste is well situated for the many beautiful places to visit in this area.
Catherine and Bruno are very welcoming and friendly owners. They should be very proud of the lovely property and gardens they have created.
We had such a superb holiday, thank you Catherine and Bruno for your kind hospitality. We shall remember you everytime we see and smell the lavender!

Excellent stay in beautiful surroundings and exceptional hosts.
We have more than enjoyed our stay in the amazing accommodation of Catherine and Bruno near Lacoste. The house is settled in a scenic and tranquil area ideally for those seeking peace and relaxation. The garden is beautifully designed, set up and maintained with lots of Lavender, Oleander, Perennials, Olive and Mulberry Trees. The pool is really great on a hot summer day to relax after sightseeing. The house itself is beautifully equipped and furnished with 2 very nice bed rooms and baths and a spacious living room and kitchen.
The hosts Catherine and Bruno are very warm and charming people and extremely helpful in case you need anything (e.g. they were so nice to print out tickets for us for sightseeing) although they leave you absolute privacy.
This was our top accommodation in Provence so far and we would absolutely come back any time and can just highly recommend it.

I wish I was back there by the pool! It was just spectacular. The view, their garden. They are charming hosts and most helpful. We went to many of the Provence towns with no problem. We loved the space. They have done a very nice job. Would give it 5 stars if they had screens or fans.

Les Agapanthes was great!
We spent a week at this wonderful property just a stones through from the Marquis de Sade's old place in Lacoste. This house is beautiful and the pool is a good size. There is a court to play boccie (the French have another name for it) and an outdoor ping pong table. The gardens are beautiful and well cared for and full of lavender and of course agapanthes; the flower the property is named after. Our hosts, Bruno and Catherine could not be more helpful and gracious. The nearby town of Lacoste has two small restaurants that were quite good and the town across the valley, Bonnieux, also has some sites to visit and restaurants. The property is a modest drive to Arles, Avignon, the Pont du Gard, and lots more. We were very happy with our visit and our time with our hosts.

We were two couples who stayed at Les Agapenthes for a week and had a terrific time. There are so many beautiful places to see throughout the region. We visited Pont du Gard, the markets in Luberon, the spectacular landscape of lavender, the orange chalk cliffs and the miles and miles of vineyards. The house is beautiful but what we liked the most was the view of the valley and the sight of Bonnieux. The owner Bruno, is a skilled gardener and the property is beautifully maintained. The house is light and bright and wonderfully equipped with all the necessary amenities. Our hosts went to the trouble of having some basic staples available for us when we arrived. The sleeping accommodations were very private, one bedroom upstairs and one bedroom downstairs. Catherine and Bruno were wonderful hosts as they were available on the premises with sightseeing advice if needed. We highly recommend this property.

Wonderful self catering accommodation for 2 couples.
We were 2 couples with a car and we stayed for 7 nights. The property was beautiful, with lovely views over the Castle and Valley. The location was great for exploring the small villages of the Luberon, which we did - and it was only a short walk to Lacoste where we were able to get coffee at a cafe overlooking the valley. The accommodation had 2 lovely bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one upstairs, one down. The kitchen/ living area were well equipped for self catering and the terrace was a great place to sit outside and admire the views, as was the pool area with its deck chairs and sun umbrella. We didn't make much use of the pool itself as the weather was beginning to cool down and we were out sightseeing a lot, but it would be wonderful when the days are hotter in summer. Our hosts were charming and unobtrusive but helpful when we made inquiries of them. We can thoroughly recommend Les Agapanthes. AND it has a washing machine which was a bonus for travellers like us (from overseas) that had been on the move for weeks!
