The week at the cottage was the BEST week we have experienced in Maine. The cottage was conveniently located within walking distance of Perkins Cove which had restaurants and a very quaint shopping area. Ryan, our host, checked to insure everything was going well and the extra amenities were welcomed and appreciated. The cottage was very cleanly kept with a nautical theme throughout.

We had a wonderful stay. A clean, quiet and cozy property located just a brief walk to the Perkins Cove footbridge (and therefore lobster). The air conditioning was welcome since it was quite warm out. Very happy with everything!

Perkins Cove beach house
Loved our stay in this lovely home. Very tastefully decorated and spacious. Just a quick walk to Perkins Cove and a short drive into downtown. Property manager was very responsive about a minor plumbing issue. Thank you!

Lovely house
We love staying right in Perkins cove near our favorite restaurants, shops and activities. House was so neat and clean, had cute games for the kids, and was perfect for our family of 4.

Great place and nice location.
Our cottage was clean and very close to Perkins Cove. It was comfortable for the two of us. We needed to bring lots of things with us, such as toilet paper and paper towels, but we had plenty of towels and clean bedding. We enjoyed our stay!

Really cute super clean house!
We loved staying here. House was sparkling clean, great location close to Perkin's Cove, downtown Ogunquit and the beach. Had everything we needed including very comfortable beds. Whole house AC was a bonus although we only used it one night as weather was awesome. Never needed to contact the host but we had his cell number. Would highly recommend!

A gem by the Cove
Unfortunately I had an emergency appendectomy on my second night in Ogunquit. (York Hospital is #1). This rental was so clean and comfortable for rest and recovery. Family of three had plenty of space. I cannot image what it would have been like in a hotel room. The house is steps from the footbridge to Perkins Cove where you can catch a trolley up to town. Had a small glitch with our access code on arrival but reached the owner by phone and the issue was resolved in minutes. This unit would definitely be our first choice for our next visit.

Wonderful Place To Stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in July 2019. The cottage was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. Our family of three was very comfortable, and the air conditioning sure came in handy on the 90+ degree days we had during our week in Ogunquit. The location was perfect -- it was about a five-minute, easy walk to Perkins Cove (which was just right for our 6-year old son). Lots of nearby restaurants and shops -- we could not ask for more.
Ryan made the whole renting process delightfully easy. All in all, we had a great vacation. Thank you.

Wonderful vacation spot
This is a spacious, two-bedroom accommodation with WI-Fi, Net Flix, etc. It's bright and airy, has A/C if needed, wonderfully clean. It's in a standalone building so you have no neighbors -- had a child with me so I didn't have to worry about her running across the floor. Loved it!!!!

A Wonderful base to explore from
We stayed for 9 nights in October 2018 and had a fabulous time.
The photographs of this rental can be relied upon to be a true reflection, what however they can’t show is how spotlessly clean it was.
Ryan was a pleasure to deal with and nothing seemed to much trouble.
It is a 5 minute walk to Perkins Cove which is full of great places to eat.
We used the rental as a base to explore the surrounding areas. We visited Kennebunks, Saco, Old Orchard, Plymouth NH, The Yorks, Nubble Lighthouse, Cape Neddick and even managed a spooky day in Salem MA.
I would not hesitate to recommend this rental to anybody.

Great location, comfortable space!
We enjoyed our stay this weekend at Cottage by the Cove. The place was within walking distance to Perkins Cove and had a great view of the ocean through the kitchen and bedroom windows. The kitchen was a great space to make a home cooked meal. Two bedrooms make this ideal for couples.

Nice clean home in convenient location.
This was a lovely little home in a convenient location. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable and owner was wonderful. Ryan was very responsive to our questions and needs. Perkins Cove is right around the corner which made for enjoyable morning walks to the great coffee shops and cafe for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would return to this location in the blink of an eye.

Wonderful Location and Accommodations
We have been coming to Ogunquit for years and we have stayed in a variety of motels and houses - but never in Perkins Cove. We really enjoyed our stay The house was perfect for our family of three. We had plenty of room, the house was very clean, and we had everything we needed. You are truly a short walk to Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way.

This cottage was a short walk from Perkins Cove and town. The amenities were fine and the unit was very cosy. The manager responded to any questions that we might have had immediately. If you are looking for a quiet getaway in Ogunquit I highly recommend it!

Bright and cozy house
I traveled with a friend to Maine and we rented this place to enjoy the beaches of Maine. It was convenient to walking in Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way. The place was clean and cozy. We enjoyed ourselves staying there. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place off the beaten path without being to far out of town.

Excellent location and accommodations
The property is ideally-situated, close to Perkins Cove and in a very walkable area. The kitchen is well-equipped and having a washer and dryer in the unit was terrific. The free wifi made it possible for us to stay in touch during our entire stay. Definitely a great property!

Comfortable House, Great Location
I was traveling with a friend, and we both found the house to be roomy, clean, and comfortable.You can see a bit of the ocean from the dining room table. With the windows open, the house is breezy and cool; there are air conditioners in the living room and bedrooms, all of which are pretty quiet. The house is set back from Shore Road - it's amazingly quiet considering how close it is to Perkins cove and Shore Road. The house is literally a 4 minute walk to Perkins cove for restaurants and shops, as well as the beginning of Marginal way walk. It's walkable to downtown Ogunwuit as well. York and Wells are a very close car ride away. Ryan was very easy to communicate with and I really appreciated his check in phone call to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, an excellent place to stay.

Perfect for the long weekend!
The property was exactly as advertised. The house was very clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic and worked well for our group. Check-in and check-out and parking were all easy and the owner was responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend this property if you are visiting Ogunquit. We hope to return again soon.

Great place!
The location is terrific - far enough from Perkins Cove to be private but close enough for a quick walk over. The house was spotless when we arrived. Our adult daughters joined us for a long weekend and we found that we had lots of room and lots of hot water - no cold showers for anyone! The kitchen was well equipped, the washer and dryer big enough for a large load or two, and the wifi was super-fast. Ryan was a helpful and pleasant host. Definitely looking forward to another vacation there!

Great place!!!
This was our first trip to Maine. The rental was exactly as described. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The location was excellent. We pretty much parked our car and walked everywhere. We would most definitely stay here again.
