Lovely house
For the price we paid, the location was a long way from the ski lifts, town centre etc.

Quiet and beautiful location. The open and spacious arrangement of the house made for a comfortable stay. Kitchen well stocked with lots of sauces and spices. House had everything we needed to make it a great weeklong stay.
There were several things that need repair such as the jammed and cracked front door that we had to shove/kick each time we needed to open it and a missing toilet seat that triggered the washlet to constantly make noises.

Lovely open plan living spaces on ground floor, secluded location (with a temperamental baby we didn't have to be worried about crying waking neighbours), great bathroom, drying room and washing facilities, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Free local bus to the Nagasaka gondola just up the street, very helpful staff from the nearby sister lodge (assisted with free lifts to town etc). We asked for a cot and a high chair and this wasn't a problem.
No deal breakers! It's just worth knowing that Holiday Home Nozawa is maybe a 15-20 minute walk to the Nagasaka Gondola and "town" where a lot of the restaurants are. Even with a one year old and ski gear this wasn't a big deal as the local bus is quite convenient, and the nearby sister lodge offered a dropoff/pickup service to /from Chuo bus terminal of an evening. It's just worth noting as we had difficulty getting a taxi to a medical clinic one day when it had snowed a lot which made things tricky for one of our party who was in a long leg cast.

Location is good. There is a shuttle bus stop near the house going to the gondola station. The host was very helpful with every question/issue we had. The house is perfect for families.

Beautiful house! Great facilities!
The address on this site was incorrect. Provide some towels for the kitchen please! It was hard to dry dishes without kitchen towels.
