Situé à 7 minutes à pied de la magnifique plage de Carrickalinga. Cette maison moderne et écologique assure que vous vous sentez comme si vous êtes en vacances à la minute où vous entrez dans la porte d'entrée. The Running Postman offre aux couples l'évasion romantique parfaite et aux familles une base idéale pour des vacances amusantes. Avec des vues rurales à travers un jardin indigène sur les collines et les arbres au-delà, vous pouvez vous asseoir et vous détendre si vous êtes à la plage ou à la maison.
La maison dispose de 3 chambres, deux avec lits queen et une avec deux ensembles de couchettes, pouvant accueillir un maximum de 8 personnes. Il y a 2 salles de bains dont une attenante à la chambre principale.

The fact that we keep coming back is testament to the great all-round experience it is; great host, love the eco features, attention to detail and beautiful location that offers both rural and seascapes. We can't beat it for a relaxing getaway.

Very clean and comfortable. Gift quality linens provided. Great kitchen area which is well equipped. Would however recommend the owner consider a coffee machine or at least coffee plunger.

We had a baby 3 months ago and it was our first Mother’s Day together. Such a thoroughly enjoyable weekend with such a cosy feel to the place thank you :)

The location was misleading, not advising of surrounding direct neighbours.
Loss of power during last night, eventuating in the need to leave early following morning - due to refrigerated items, unable to charge phones etc…
No reply from owner re issues…

A Well thought out environmentally friendly property.
From the Deck, views across the countryside through the bush garden to sit and relax with a coffee.
Only a few minutes' walk to beautiful Carrickalinga Beach.

Beautiful house and location, spacious for 4 adults. Comfy lounge and two outdoor decks. Relaxing on the front deck in the deck chairs was lovely. Beach walks both days as the beach was so close. Great selection of games and some dvds. Cupboards stocked with plenty of crockery and glass wear. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely week, this holiday home had everything we needed. Loved all the thoughtful touches, like the books and board games etc, and the linen being provided. Perfect for our family of 5.

It was a lovely place to come and relax. So fully equipped we managed to cook a full early Christmas dinner with needing to compromise on anything. And thanks to our host for being so informative.

We used this property as a venue for a friends' weekend away. Although not having wi-fi or reliable internet (Vodafone, particularly) was something to get used to, it eventually ended up being a blessing in disguise. (If you are needing net access for work / streaming music etc., you probably want to be a Telstra customer!) House is beautiful, beds are super comfy, herbs in garden are a lovely touch. Will definitely be back.

Perfect, cosy & relaxing weekend awsy
My mum and I enjoyed a weekend here celebrating a special bday. What a lovely place to stay - it was quiet, peaceful, cosy with the beautiful fire and a fantastic location, so close to the beach. Kirstin is the perfect host, so accomodating

Beautiful place for a relaxing holiday
Beautiful spacious place for our little family for a very relaxing weekend away! Thanks to the owner for getting everything neat and clean for us, and very efficient and clear communications from the owner! The fire place made the our stay super cosy and comfy, especially during a super stormy weekend! Close to beach and Normanville, very convenient location!

The perfect getaway ❤
Kirstin made communication an absolute breeze, everything in the house was perfect and it's a great place for kids. The fireplace was beautiful for a winter beach getaway. We've only just left an we already can not wait to come back soon! Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful, relaxing stay
Excellent property. Super helpful and lovely hosts. The layout is great, couch and bed/linen very comfy. Well stocked cupboards. Cute outdoor area. And the fireplace made it extra cozy. Just what I needed. Such a relaxing stay.

Perfect last minute getaway
We loved our stay at the running postman. The house was lovely with big open windows to enjoy the views of the hills and only a short walk down to the beach. Everything was clean and tidy and included anything we may have needed. Kirstin was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We hope to return again.

Fantastic break
I booked this as a gift for my parents. The communication with the owner was easy, prompt and they were so helpful. My parents absolutely loved the house and location. The house was clean and welcoming and so well stocked. They will be back for sure and my family too. Thank you!

Warm and Bright - A convenient drive for everything you’ll need on a break.
Lovely modern property on the main drag of Carrickalinga, quick walk to the beach, peaceful surroundings. A great selection of movies, board games and books if you find yourself wanting a stay in holiday.
Gas stove and all the kitchen equipment you need to make a full meal if you need to. 2 bathrooms (one ensuite, one bathroom) so you’d be well equipped for a stay of a family.
Lovely backyard for a bit of privacy with fruit trees and a small herb garden, cute little bird bath out the front which you can observe the local variety of birds flying in to sample.

Loved our stay!
The Running Postman was the perfect place for us (6 adults and 2 kids). We made use of the well-equipped kitchen, the slow combustion fire, the sheltered outdoor area where we ate most of the time, and the vast array of board games - we were wanting for nothing ….it’s a very comfortable house and we loved our stay there.

Was only at the property for 30 mins before returning home
Upon arrival noticed dust on the picture frames. dust was also caked on the fire extinguishet ib the kitchen
Main bedrooms light switch was covered in fly droppings. The floor lamp next to the bed covered in thick layers of dust.
The bathrooms had mould mould around the sinks drains.
We felt very unlean after walking into the property and left after the wife started having panic attacks.
We tried to call the owner, over the phone didnt even dial through.
UPDATE: after 3 weeks calling vrbo and stayz a full refund was REFUSED by the owner.

Comfortable and relaxing stay.
A peaceful and comfortable place for a small holiday or a weekend away. The accommodation has a nice balance between comfort and being environmentally friendly. Front yard with predominantly native plats attracts a variety of local birds and friendly critters. Back yard, practical and neat. Excellent property management and communication makes it for an easy 5 stars review.

Sit and watching the birds

Lovely place
We had a great stay. Had everything we needed to prepare and cook proper meals. Fireplace was great. Kids enjoyed it a lot. Heaps of light during the day and blockout privacy at night. A very tidy little retreat.

We enjoyed our stay at the Running Postman, the house (especially layout and environmental/sustainable focus) was lovely as was the location. We had a few issues but communication with the owner was excellent. Just a note to future guests make sure you keep the fire going in winter or the hot water will be freezing!We would definitely return and would recommend to friends and family.
