The view from the verandah was enjoyable. The house is located behind the Bluff, nestled in the Valley which offers protection from the cold Winter wind. The Magpies were friendly and entertaining. It was quite serene and peaceful at this chilly time of year. The place was lovely and clean with fresh linen, although the renovating clearly rushed and a bit slap dash. Some great books to read and we loved the Adelaide Trivial Pursuit!!

Although there was a coffee machine, we were unable to get this to work. No instructions provided. For our coffee drinkers, this was disappointing. We went to the Kiosk for the morning recharge! We understand and respect water restrictions however there was no water (at all) available Sunday morning. Off to the Kiosk again for drinking water and to brush our teeth. Our host did get back to us promptly however and instructed us to switch over the water tanks which sorted things out late morning. Perhaps some information relating to this might be helpful. Beds were comfortable but no alternatives to quilts which didn't suit everyone.
