Seaside Cottage est une escapade privée sur l'océan près du pittoresque village de Willow Point à Campbell River. Détendez-vous sur le pont ou dans le bain à remous et profitez de la vue sur la faune marine et le trafic maritime.
Le salon a un foyer au gaz, des sièges confortables et une vue magnifique.
Les deux chambres ont chacune un lit queen confortable avec des couettes en plumes et des draps en coton de luxe, tout comme le canapé-lit queen dans le salon.
La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle, réfrigérateur avec congélateur, micro-ondes, cafetière et bouilloire pour le thé.
Sur le pont se trouve un barbecue, une table et des chaises et un mobilier de salon.
La pêche est excellente à Campbell River, nous exploitons une entreprise de guidage avec des bateaux de style croiseur chauffés très confortables et d'excellents guides. La pêche est fantastique de juin à octobre. Il est également possible de pêcher depuis la rive en face du chalet ou sur de nombreuses rivières et lacs à proximité.
Nous avons la chance d'avoir des œuvres d'art originales de notre artiste local Brian Scott dans le chalet. Sa galerie et son studio sont à une courte distance en voiture du chalet et sont souvent ouverts au public.
Il y a un fabuleux vignoble local à proximité appelé Beaufort qui a une salle de dégustation et vous pouvez acheter votre sélection et en profiter sur une immense pelouse meublée donnant sur le vignoble et les montagnes de Beaufort Profitez d'un pique-nique avec de nombreuses spécialités locales offertes dans la salle de dégustation à prix du marché des agriculteurs.

This is the second? third? time we've stayed at Seaside Cottage and we had a wonderful time. The cottage is clean and comfortable and the setting is wonderful. We visited Quadra Island, went whale watching and saw numerous eagles from the deck!

We loved our stay at the cottage, and the star of the show was the sweeping view from the deck. It shows more than 180 degrees of the Insides Passage, with beautiful mountains beyond. We saw bald eagles every day, often flying right overhead, sometimes with a fresh kill. One morning we saw whale spouts in the distance, not one or two but dozens, and once or twice we saw a seal. At night we enjoyed watching the cruise ships sail by, lit up like Christmas trees.
The location is extremely convenient, with a small grocery store just around the corner, a pizza place within 30-second walking distance, and Campbell River attractions just a short drive up the road.
The beach is great too, being located right on the Willow Point Reef. We enjoyed exploring for starfish at low tideband taking a Polar Plunge at high tide. The hot tub was clean and functional, which you might think is a given but we've been disappointed before at other places.
All in all this was our favorite of seven different stays on our trip around Vancouver Island.

This was our first time to Vancouver island, and we are so happy to have chosen Campbell River as the place to spend our time. The Seaside Cottage was perfect for my family of 4. It had all we needed for our week long vacation The view from the patio was unbeatable. My sons enjoyed exploring the beach at low tide. The proximity to a grocery store and restaurants was incredibly convenient. And Cathy was a gracious and responsive host. Can’t wait to return.

Do not let the proximity of 19A dissuade from this property — once settled in and on the east facing deck, there was no worry about traffic noise disturbances.

You can't beat the amazing ocean views from the large deck and hot tub. Highly recommended. Cathy is lovely, and a great host. We've stayed at both cottages on this property, and this one is our favorite. We will be comming back again :)

This little spot is a sliver of paradise. It's near shopping and a lot of other amenities. If you need that. Or you can tuck yourself away and just relax and take in the view. Which is exactly what we did. All I can say is I wish we had more time to stay there. There's nothing really I can add, if you've read all of the other reviews, they're pretty accurate. I can promise you won't be disappointed with a stay there.

What an amazing place to go! The hot tub was a fabulous addition and we watched all the wildlife while snow fell around us - it was truly magical. My husband and I came to the island to decide where we'll move and Campbell River has been amazing. All the people are so nice and helpful and our host, Cathy, was incredible at accommodating a mistake of mine and making us feel so welcome. The cottage itself is absolutely adorable and fit every need. It felt so cozy and comfortable, it was truly hard to leave. We enjoyed seeing the resident seagull, the local otter and many seals in the bay and eagles catching their meals from the ocean. We will be sure to tell all our family and friends to enjoy this place. It is great for the soul.

Have been to this cottage several times. There were four of us this visit. Cottage is exceptionally clean and it has well stocked kitchen. Beautiful ocean view from living room, dining room, and the very spacious deck. Easy communication with owner. Short walk to local restaurants and grocery store. Nice updated bathroom with fluffy towels. Good heating in cottage for cooler weather.

We had a great time at the cottage. Wonderful deck offering an expansive view of the ocean and Quadra Island. We saw turkey vultures, ravens, eagles and even saw whales ... all while enjoying our morning coffee on the deck. Lots of wonderful hikes and fishing nearby. A great stay...we'll be back!

Walking distance to stores. Cool breeze from the water. Despite being so close to the road the cottage is relatively quiet. Communication with Cathy was easy and clear. This was our second visit and we hope to vacation here again.

We absolutely loved our stay! The hot tub with ocean views was definately a hit with my crew, and the close proximity to the plaza made it easy for anyone to walk over and pick up the things they needed, or enjoy a dinner at Socal.
We enjoyed the private patio and barbeque, watched whales and dolphins and fly fishermen. The evening sky was always a treat, too!
There isn't a lot of food storage space, so our items cluttered up the counters and top of fridge, but the kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils and staple times(ie coffee, salt and pepper) so it makes sense!
Hubby had to work a few hours and oldest son had an online exam to write - wifi was perfect.
We are just so happy to have stayed here. Cathy was an excellent host!

The cottage is rustic, but very cute and clean. The view is spectacular!! We watched humpbacks go by for over 2 hours one day! Loved exploring the beach right out front of the cottage. The hot tub could use a bit of work as a couple of the jets were not working, but we still enjoyed it every evening!! Thank you Cathy for a wonderful stay at your cottage. :)

This locators ideal if you want to drink in the ocean and mountains from the comfort of the cottage or deck or hot tub. The cottage is quaint and well appointed with anything as a family we needed. It is also close to lots of food options and conveniences should you need that. It’s only about 40 minutes to the ski hill which is great for a busy family. Lots of room to run and play and explore the tidal pools. The hosts are always prompt in and any questions.
We just wish the bed was a little bigger for the grown ups.

We had the best weekend staying at Cathy’s. The view the unbeatable, the place is clean and quaint, has everything you need. The location is perfect, secluded enough that you have your own private deck and access to water, but it is also close enough that you can walk to the grocery store, a few restaurants and coffee place under 10 minutes. Will definitely come back if we can!

This 2 bedroom cottage provided an excellent get away for four adults and small dog.. The cottage was extremely clean and cozy. Kitchen is small but extremely well equipped and there is a very good barbeque as well. The views from inside as well from the large deck are fabulous. We found we needed to use the steps located at nearby park to access the beach but this was only a short walk. Those with better mobility could climb down the rocks at the property to access beach. Lots of amenities close by within walking distance. Good television and wifi connections. Quality linens and bath towels with an inviting updated shower with lots of hot water.
Would highly recommend this accommodation. Communication with host, Cathy, was easy, prompt, and clear.

This location was perfect for just relaxing and enjoying the view. Groceries, fresh baked goods and gelato were all just steps away. We walked the area and explored the many parks along Island highway. It was easy to spot eagles fishing on the beach. Would be a great place for children and adults alike.

A comfortable stay on Campbell River
This rental is wonderful - very clean and with every amenity you could think of and more! Binoculars to watch all of the marine life and cool ships that passed by us up the river. The hot tub with a view of the river with the Rocky Mountains cascading in the background or the stars at night was welcomed by all. Excellent stay and would love to return soon!
