This house is a gem in Silver City! It's adorable with little surprises throughout. It is very well appointed with anything you could possible need. Amy and her husband were responsive, warm, and helpful. It was an oasis of relaxation while in town to visit family. I would definitely stay here again. 5-Star hosts! Highly recommend. :)

This was my first time with VRBO, and I was very pleased with every aspect of this booking. The host stocked and prepared the property, anticipating the traveler’s needs. The location was quiet and walkable to the main shopping area. I will recommend this host to others and would definitely stay there again.

This is our second stay at Amy’s house. We certainly hope to make this annual because it really feels like home. She provides such a homelike environment from kitchen to bathroom to bedroom. We absolutely love our stay here. She knows so much about the area and her suggestions have been great adventures and memories. It makes us sad to leave.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is comfortable and clean with all we needed. There is a nice enclosed yard and covered outside area for eating and relaxing with a TV. There is a wooded creek running behind the property. It is a short walk to several restaurants and the Old Town Main St. Amy communicated well with us before arrival and we met during our stay as she worked at the other house on the property. She suggested several nice areas for hiking / mountain biking and restaurant and nearby destination suggestions that we enjoyed. She also had info in the house on local attractions, restaurants, etc. We would definitely come back and would like to stay longer and see more of Amy's suggested destinations..

We loved it. It had everything we could possibly want. Well, I would suggest a bath mat in the tub as it was slippery. Otherwise the place was a dream. Amy was very kind and helpful. Thanks so much. Mahina

We found *gold* in Silver City with this property! Easy walking distance to galleries, restaurants and the Saturday Farmer's market as well as the historic Big Ditch walkway and Silver City Historical Museum. This home is beautifully and charmingly renovated with an additional outdoor living oasis for grilling, visiting, sipping wine in front of a fire or even watching a movie! Amy & Larry's thoughtful appointments to this home were the crowning gems. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Clean well organized, decor was artsy fun. Amy was Intuitive to our needs... we came in on the end of a snow storm... and were greeted with a fire inthe fireplace. Great place to stay.

It was all we had hoped for and more. The description was absolutely accurate, the house equipped with everything you can possibly wish for. Furthermore, Amy took great care to prepare everything for our arrival (house illuminated, fire going in the fireplace) so that we could enjoy a warm welcome in a cozy home. Perfect.

If I am ever in Silver City, NM again, (and the property is available) I would 100% stay again. This place is perfect if you need a small place with easy access to the surrounding area. The property was really clean and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen (ie: 3 ways to make coffee, with beans). The owner, Amy, is very hospitable and easy to reach if your plans do not go as planned. I also really appreciated that she contacted us a few days prior to our arrival. TLDR: The place is great and so is the owner.

Our place was very nice with so many amenities. Our hosts were very helpful and available for any questions or needs. We had friends over to see the place and the duplex next door and all were impressed. Would recommend to friends for sure.

First, the Bennett House is a huge value. For the price of a chain hotel, we stayed in a vastly superior 2-bedroom property with every amenity. It's a charming and nostalgic house, fully renovated and up-to-date for the 21st century. Price-wise, you cannot do better. Beyond price; we loved the character; we loved living in an historic and diverse neighborhood right on the "Big Gulch." We loved being able to walk downtown safely and conveniently in just a few blocks, to enjoy the thrift stores, galleries, bars, and restaurants. This is a property full of life. We loved the grounds with flowers and trees and serious attention to sustainability and conservation. I am a foodie; the owner is also someone who loves to cook. The kitchen is over-the-top in terms of supplies Finally, the owners were eager to help, eager to advise, and eager to give us the insider's perspective and experience on Silver City. Simultaneously, Amy was scrupulous about honoring our privacy and space. Perfect host. We'll be back!

Casa Bennett was a great find for our visit to Silver City. The house is beautifully decorated and equipped with absolutely everything you could want/need. The location is walkable to the main street in the historic district. Amy is responsive and so easy to work with. We loved our stay and will definitely return to Casa Bennett on our next visit to Silver City!

There are so many great things to say about this property. First, the host, Amy is a warm, friendly and helpful person. She just made us feel so welcome the whole time we were there. The place has lots of room …a big kitchen, living room with TV, outdoor spaces that are inviting. Amy has outfitted this house with everything possible. If you think of something that you need and you don’t think it is there…you just have not looked well enough! There is a grocery store a couple minutes walk…so nice when you just need some things but don’t want to drive. We enjoyed fires in the fireplace at night. So cozy!! And did I say how wonderful the host, Amy, is? Book this one! It is a gem in all ways!!

We've stayed at vacation rentals all over the country. This place was as fine as any place we've stayed. The kitchen was totally well stocked. Amy is the perfect host. If we come back to Silver City, this will be the first place we look for online.

This home was so nice to stay in! Well stocked, clean and plenty of room for a family of four. Amy was in constant communication to answer any questions we had. We stayed during the winter, so she left a wood fire burning for us when we arrived which was a welcomed treat! The house is very close to downtown Silver City, and not far at all from restaurants and major convenience stores. We were very pleased with our stay.
