Notre maison est luxueuse et neuve - Construite pour profiter d'une escapade d'un week-end ou d'une semaine de vacances. Chien amical avec une grande cour pour jouer et situé dans une crique protégée loin de la circulation des bateaux, mais à seulement 5 miles de la place Publix, du cinéma, etc.
Deux téléviseurs à grand écran dans la grande salle - 50 "LCD dans la salle de jeux avec capacités Xbox et un téléviseur de 65" pour le salon principal de 42 "dans la chambre avec lits superposés pour enfants; idéal pour les enfants! Téléviseurs intelligents dans 3 des autres chambres ainsi que pour une visualisation à la demande.
Trois lits King (1 à l'étage et 2 en bas); Chambre superposée pour enfants à l'étage a un lit superposé Queen sur Queen qui peut accueillir jusqu'à 4; ainsi que 2 lits jumeaux. Great for multi generation family lake vacation. Adult Bedroom/Bath set up is perfect- all with great mattresses! Kids Quarters is amazing too! Beach entry play area provides all day relaxation and large yard is great for family fun! House is well stocked with both indoor and outdoor games/activities. Kitchen is I’llideal for cooking family style meals.

This property cannot be fully appreciated until you get there. The pictures do not do it justice. It’s absolutely beautiful and a showstopper! It was our first trip to Lake Oconee and we traveled with family from all over the country. We had 16 in our group with ages ranging from 10 months to 73 years. There was something there for everyone to enjoy!
The kids loved the toys, video games, beach, and dock, while the adults enjoyed the sprawling open spaces, comfy king beds, and outside sitting areas! The Publix was only 10 minutes away and Mellow Mushroom was 5 minutes away!!
We were drawn to this home specifically for the beach entry to the lake. It was the only home we could find that didn’t have a straight drop off into the lake. This was very important to us since we were traveling with very young children! It was an absolute must for us!
We rented a double decker boat with a slide from Young Harris Water Sports one of the days and it fit perfectly at the home dock. It was so convenient to be able to pick up and drop off family members throughout the day!
We’ve never done a lake trip as a family before. We usually do beach trips! Now we want to be lake people. We were on Realtor.com all weekend trying to find a place like this home that was available to buy. We loved it that much!
This home will now be our go to for all future Lake Oconee trips!

We had an amazing stay at this property! Our family of 15 enjoyed plenty of space, allowing us to spend quality time together without feeling cramped. The house and property were well-maintained. The dock was comfortable accommodating our two boats and making it easy to get in and out of the water. Additionally, any questions we had were promptly and professionally answered. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would recommend this property.

We spent four nights with two groups of friends and their respective families. The house was perfect for our group of 11 (6 adults, 5 teenagers). The property is incredible. The teenagers played football in the backyard and along the waters edge. We all enjoyed lounging in the dock. It was an incredible stay.

The only big thing to add is that at the back stair steps, there is a large drop off that made it very hard for my mom to get down as she is currently using a walker and cannot put pressure on her knee. I would check and insure that this drop off aligns with ADA guidelines and add some stones to help steps align more.

We did a good bit of looking before we chose this home for a weekend trip with my grandma. She is in her 80s and the youngest of our crew is 9. EVERY ONE of us absolutely enjoyed our stay here.
Literally no issues, and the layout of the home made it so we could all enjoy each others company, cook together, eat on the porch, etc. My grandma uses a wheelchair except for very short walking distances, and she had no problem navigating the lower floor after assistance entering the few stairs into the home. There was not a ramp entry to my knowledge, but once she was in, it was no trouble for her to get herself around the spacious living areas.
We brought a few kayaks and the kids lived down at the water for the duration, until it was dark, and even then they only moved up to the fire pit.
Everything was clean and well-stocked. We really appreciated a bunk-style room for a bunch of kids, as well as several private rooms for grownups and other bed options as well.
The hosts have been easy to communicate with and were very kind to accommodate a later check out when I needed to drive over an hour away early on checkout morning to provide nursing care to an elderly family member and then return to pick up my family. We really appreciated that flexibility as it meant I didn’t need to get all my kids up and out the door at the crack of dawn.
This is truly a space all ages can enjoy and our whole big family said we would like to come back!

The property was lovely. The home was very open with several bedrooms to accomodate our 13 member family. There were tons of things for the children and adults to do- of course, the lake, the beach area, games ranging from video to ping pong to giant connect boards. We all loved the fire pit area. It was perfect for us and we hope to come back in the future. Owners were very good at communicating with us so everything went smoothly with check in and check out. Again, we all loved the place!

My husband rented this house for our first family get together with our grown children and a few of the grandchildren. The house is huge, the property is beautiful. There's a little beach area for swimming and a nice boat dock, but you have to drive a few miles to the boat ramp to put your boat in the water.
We had more than enough room for 10 adults and 4 children. The kitchen has the perfect layout and is stocked with silverware, cooking utensils, pots, pans, drinking glasses and coffee cups. There were 2 types of coffee makers, a toaster oven, range, microwave, 2 refrigerators, a dishwasher and a washer and dryer. Plenty of games and tv's so the kids didn't get bored. I loved the layout of the house. Especially everyone having their own bathroom. The owners have been so nice and welcoming. They even took the time to contact us and make sure everything went well for us.
I would suggest you bring your own bath towels, unless you want to do laundry. Also, check with the homeowner to see if the outdoor grill has been fixed. The last renters apparently left it filthy and the burners were clogged. So we couldn't use the grill. Which wasn't a huge problem as we brought a rack to cook over the fire.
We would definitely stay here again and hope to soon.

We stayed here for my son's wedding. It was a perfect space for our family. Very spacious with an extremely well-equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The 4 full bathrooms were a plus. And we were able to bring our dogs! We took advantage of the big back porch and enjoyed mornings overlooking the lake. Definitely recommend.

My wife and I, with some periodic visits by friends, spent three straight weeks in late July and early August, after making our reservation in September ‘22. We were clearly disappointed with our total very large investment. Looking backwards, I went and re-read the property description. It was accurate, except for the first sentence, “Our house is luxurious and new”. That is quite an over, if not incorrect, statement. A nice piece of land, absolutely! A 7-year-old house, definitely. But, no real upkeep, dirty and mostly sparse, worn-out furniture, thin towels and linens, mold on outdoor furniture and walls, indoor walls clearly needing painting and overall, a property yearning for refurbishing and repair, especially at the very high in-season price we were paying. I’d strongly suggest a re-write of the opening description sentence that starts with, “Our house is “large, very basic and well worn”. This would be a much better portrayal of the property.

Us “old” folks enjoyed the arcade game Brought back lots of childhood memories. My husband enjoyed the dock the most…it was his spot. Sandy Cove Lake House was perfect for our family gathering. Plenty of space for nine adults and 2 children. House is conveniently located to grocery store and restaurants. Beautiful lake view from huge covered porch and large windows inside home. Home has updated furnishings, comfortable beds and plenty of linens and towels. Kitchen is large and has everything you need for preparing meals. Sandy Cove exceeded our expectations, and we hope to visit again soon.

This property was perfect for a reunion of long-time friends for a long weekend. It has a large kitchen and great room that accommodated everyone. The back porch is large enough for a big group to enjoy the evening overlooking the lake. There is a functional fire pit that we were able to use as well.

We had a wonderful vacation at Sandy Cove. The house is amazing and the pictures do not do it Justice. So many games and activities for every age group. We had adults, teenagers, and school aged children with us. The dock was easy to get in and out of and the kids enjoyed the sandy beach. Everything we needed we had access to. Definitely would stay here again! Steve, the owner was attentive and helpful.

We enjoyed the location of this property as it was convenient for exploring the lake and the dock worked well for securing our boat. The many windows allowed for relaxing views and lots of natural light. The weather was not the best so we had limited time on the dock and the mosquitoes were out in full force so we did not use the covered porch. The layout of the home is very open so it was quite loud/echoes in the family room space with talking, ping pong, games and tv. The home is showing signs of wear and needs a little attention, especially the cabinetry. Overall, the home provided an opportunity for togetherness and allowed our pups to be with us! The host was very responsive with feedback for our questions which was most appreciated.

This property is beyond amazing! Traveling for a wedding weekend, we all met at this oasis with our children and loved ones for a wedding weekend. The house instantly set the tone of love, warmth and laughter. The boys (young and old) enjoyed football on the back lawn- a memory that each will cherish forever. The access to the white sand beach and the dock were a huge hit for the kids. The kitchen is fully stocked with large pots and pans, two coffee makers, tons of utensils and Longaberger coffee cups (my favorite!). Beds were so comfortable and the plantation shutters allowed each guest room it’s own unique entry of natural light. The neighborhood is quiet except for the laughter that dances across the water.
On our last day, I received a phone call my brother had died and I cannot tell you how seeing the sunrise on the lake instantly gave me a sense of peace on his behalf.
This home is amazing and I hope that everyone has the wonderful memory making experiences we had.
