Un chalet de montagne d'une pièce du Vermont à 1,6 km du pittoresque village de Belmont et du lac Star, et à 6 miles de l'Okemo Resort et de Ludlow. Profitez de cette cabine d'hôtes sur une colline au-dessus de notre maison, avec une terrasse donnant sur le lac Star, des prairies, des vues sur les montagnes et des couchers de soleil spectaculaires. Peut accueillir 1 ou 2 personnes (Queen); entièrement rénové avec nouvelle kitchenette moderne et salle de bain. Une belle escapade en montagne, pourtant proche des activités.
À proximité des lacs de montagne - baignade, pêche, location de bateaux. Au centre des sites touristiques, golf, tennis, équitation, randonnée, vélo; près de Weston Playhouse et Weston Priory. Entouré de forêts du Vermont et de feuillage d'automne.
Nous sommes au cœur des Green Mountains entre Killington et Stratton / Bromley. Nous avons beau (spectaculaire !!) vues à l'ouest et au nord-ouest (grands couchers de soleil). La cabane se trouve sur une colline, au bord d'un pâturage, à 2100 pieds d'altitude et surplombe un lac et des montagnes au-delà. Nous sommes à un mile de Star Lake qui a un accès à la plage et en bateau.
Partagez notre coin de paradis du Vermont, entouré de 180 acres de terre et de centaines d'hectares d'amis, de famille et de l'État du Vermont. Nous avons notre propre réseau de sentiers pour la randonnée, et il y a beaucoup d'autres randonnées tout autour de la ville et de la région. Sur notre terrain en face de la cabane, il y a quatre étangs de castors qui longent un ruisseau qui se jette dans le lac Star.
Bien que nichée dans les collines du Vermont, notre chalet est au cœur de la zone de ski et touristique du Vermont, il y a donc de nombreux restaurants, magasins et activités dans un rayon de 5 à 10 miles.

This is our second time staying with Ron and will not be our last. The cabin is a perfect retreat away from life to relax and reset! Simply love it! And Ron and Dottie are delightful!

Rustic, cute cabin in the woods. Excellent view of Vermont Green Mountains and rural countryside. 17 minutes from Ludlow! Owner is very responsive to questions and provided information about the area! There are steps going up a hill as well as as the ones pictured in the picture of the cabin.

This was our second time in this cabin. Comfy and with everything you need. The view from the deck is amazing with sunsets to die for. The host,Ron, is attentive ,gracious and very welcoming. The Mount Holly area is lovely.

My husband, our dog, and I loved our stay with Ron and Dottie. The listing is just like the pictures however the views are better in person than any picture could capture. Ron and Dottie were lovely to chat with and we look forward to staying again for leaf peeping! Did not leave without rebooking! Totally recommend if looking for off the beaten path and peaceful!

This was exactly as advertised- a quiet cabin in a lovely setting. It was perfect for relaxing but still keeping connected thanks to the great wi-fi. The location was centrally located for hiking and visiting a smattering of New England towns.

We gifted my parents a few night stay at Ron's property. They have been there a couple of times before and absolutely love this little home away from home. Ron is amazingly communicative, keeps the house clean, and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The property is stunning and we'd highly recommend this rental!

We had such a great time here. It’s so quiet and gorgeous but close enough to every outing you could imagine to encapsulate vermont. It’s of course perfect for just staying in a doing a puzzle or playing games too :) the hosts were super nice as well! 10/10 recommend!

We stayed in Belmont for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin was a nice size for two people. We had our two small dogs with us and they loved walking in the fields. The views of Salt Lake and the Green Mountains was marvelous. The cabin is at the top of the hill so there are some steps provided to help with that climb. Lovely stay.

To be honest, our experience was so vibrant and delightful that we didn’t even wanna leave the beautiful and serene atmosphere around the cabin and even around the nearby towns. Literally the BEST place I've ever stayed in (IN THE WORLD!)
If you're looking for a scenic place in which to say, this is DEFINITELY your place! Ron was an absolutely AMAZING host who not only made check-in amazingly easy, but the accommodations were phenomenal. He also sent us a VERY comprehensive list of activities to do around the area. We will most definitely be returning to stay there! Thank you Ron and Dottie for making this such a special stay!

Hidden Gem
This sweet spot in the mountains of Vermont is pure magic. The cabin is clean, extremely well appointed and had everything that we needed for our stay. The views are outstanding and the cabin is very private. We look forward to returning soon! Plus Ron is so nice and available if you need anything or recommendations.

Beautiful and relaxing stay..
We stayed at this cabin for 3 nights. Enjoyed every minute. The view and property are absolutely stunning! The hosts Ron and Dottie were very welcoming and personable. The rustic cabin is quaint, very clean and well equipped for everything you need for a low-key relaxing stay. Close to Okema, great stores and restaurants. Our black lab loved it too!!

Perfectly Peaceful
My husband and I enjoyed this beautiful, quiet, peaceful setting. Sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the deck looking out at the lake and mountains was our favorite! We enjoyed playing games on the picnic table in the sunshine. The kitchen was well-equipped…we brought our groceries and made all of our meals in the cabin. The farm fresh eggs from the owner were a bonus! I highly recommend for a serene get-away. We hope to celebrate another anniversary here again in the future.

A Little Slice of Paradise
From the moment you arrive at Ron & Dotties cabin, you immediately get just how special it is. Pearched upon a vista with views that make you realize just how beautiful Vermont really is. The cabin, while compact, has everything you need for stay. Kitchen is well equipped, bed is comfortable and plenty of windows to let the light in and to enjoy the view. The real magic happens when sunset lights up the sky over the mountains and the stars slowly light up the sky. There is a stillness at night that allows you to drift to sleep soundly and forget the world outside, even if just briefly. The surrounding area has great places to eat and to buy whatever needed for your stay. Lundlow, Manchester Center and Weston are all great places to explore. We brought our dog who loved the place as much as we did. Ron and Dottie made it easy to communicate with and went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. We are still talking about our trip and hope to make it back sometime soon.

Wonderful setting!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ron and Dottie's studio cabin. The sunset views from the deck are stunning. Driving to anywhere is a visual feast.
We enjoyed breakfast in Ludlow at Cafe at Delight. Hiking at the Clarendon Gorge was breathtaking as was the hike and drive up Okemo Mountain. Climb to the top of the tower for memorable views.
We did a self guided tour of covered bridges.
The cabin itself was very cozy and comfortable. It takes some work to cook a meal in the kitchen.
I suggest adding a set of nesting mix bowls, some silicone spatulas and a set of dry measuring cups to the kitchen stock. Bring your favorite spices.
There is a nice dog park in West Rutland but it's a haul to get there. I learned from a Ludlow resident that Ludlow has a newly opened dog park but we couldn't find it on our last day there. But maybe they will get a website up soon to help visitors find them.
Overall, we had a terrific, relaxing and very peaceful vacation!!

Beautiful cabin
I loved staying here. It was so nice and peaceful. The cabin is cozy and warm. The view was spectacular. My dog loved the big open pasture area. We all had a wonderful time and I’m missing Vermont already. Will definitely make this visit a yearly occurrence!

Peace and relaxation
Went up to VT for an escape from the insanity that has been 2020. The cabin showcases a gorgeous view overlooking a lake and views of mountains. The cabin was extremely clean and the guidebook provided a ton of ideas for things to do and see in the area. There is a small country store a mile down the road that has everything you would need for your stay and there are bigger towns 20-30 min out that you can drive to (along very scenic routes!) for anything else. Ron was very communicative before the trip and offered us any help we might need, but also allowed us complete privacy. The stars at night were absolutely spectacular and breathtaking. The cabin was an incredible place to be and we will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway!
This property was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! The sunset views and star gazing were incredible. We were all about the hiking and lounging on the deck which looks huge in the photos and does not disappoint. The hosts are welcoming and communicative going above and beyond to make sure you have what you need and know about anything special going on, but also giving you your privacy. Can’t wait to come back!!

Perfect retreat
This is a perfect piece of heaven on earth. It had everything I needed, was simple, and spotlessly clean. I used it to write and be alone for a while. The owners were very attentive yet respectful of privacy. The setting was spectacular.

Cabin getaway
Our little family rented the cabin for a week. The cabin was as described, studio overlooking the lake & mountains. We loved exploring the property of Ron & Dottie, hiking Okemo Mtn and sections of the Appalachian trail. It’s a beautiful, quiet and private location to watch the sunset every evening

Great Escape for Cabin Fever- to a Great Cabin!
Stayed 3rd week in June while Vermont had a state of emergency due to coronavirus, what a great getaway for a change of pace. Great privacy and very safe. Amazing view of the mountains, landscaping is beautiful too. Ideal for two. Our little old city dogs found the wooded environment a little intimidating, luckily they had us to protect them from chipmunks. We enjoyed hiking, biking, shopping and refreshing breezes. Most things you would need are in Ludlow, maybe a 20 min. drive. Owners are very helpful.
Introduced us to delicious Maple Creamies! Would stay again.

Wanted: A simple get away vacation to relax and recharge - This place fit the order perfectly.
The cabin is charmingly rustic but does not lack needed amenities for comfort. The gas wood stove made the place warm and cozy without having to lift a finger! Plenty of hot water and delicious ice cold water from the well.
The property is beautiful and the view is even better than pictured with the lake right across the street. We took our dog on daily walks through the marked trails. He loved it!
There are restaurants, farms and state trails within a few minutes drive. We especially liked the charm of the Belmont General Store just down the road. Fully stocked with locals coming in for their mail and newspaper with their doggie friends.
Ron and Dottie couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The were very quick to respond with any suggestions for activities (beyond the notebook filled with trail maps and local sites). We will definitely come back the next time we need some R&R!
