Everything I needed and wanted. Very clean and picturesque scenery

Diane the owner was extremely accommodating and kind. Space was nicely decorated and clean with plenty of room. Only negative which wasn’t really that bad was the train track noise next to the house. We used Confluence as our base for daily bike rides and hikes. Short drive to Ohiopyle and other scenic locations.

We were very happy with our stay. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. The host was extremely responsive to any requests or communication. I definitely recommend this apartment and will most definitely be staying here again, God willing.

We were very pleased with our stay. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed and the town was tranquil and peaceful. There’s so much close by for nature lovers. Bike, swim, kayak, hike, fish. We had no cell service so we unplugged and slowed down. We’ll definitely be back.

This place was fantastic. Quiet little town right on the river. Trains are going by track across street, but did not even bother us one bit. Hardly even noticed them inside house. Everything was provided that we needed and looks just like posted pictures. Owners very nice and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting this area.

The property is beautiful and great location to enjoy the outdoors right off the deck or the surrounding area of Confluence and Ohiopyle. Diana is a great host. This was our second time here, we will definitely be back!

Perfect location to hiking & biking.

We were pleased with all the amenities offered including the comfy bed, plush towels and fully equipped kitchen. We used the tv and WiFi when we were home in the evenings. There was a friendly local grocery store, and they served sandwiches and pizza at the gas station on the square. We visited the Yough dam and drove to numerous local attractions. Beautiful little town, would like to come back next summer!

Host is nice, house is clean and in a nice neighborhood, close to ohiopyle.

We stayed in the smaller apartment, but there was room for all 4 of us. Diana was very helpful, and there was a lot to do. It was nice having other tourists staying nearby to find out good restaurants or places to visit. Confluence is a quaint little town. The trains came by several times, but we enjoyed it!

We had a wonderful weekend exploring Confluence and Ohiopyle State Park, which is close by. Diana was a great host and the place was just what we were looking for. Scenic and relaxing after a long day of hiking. We enjoyed the local coffee shop (Tissue Farm) and a nice dinner right on the river at River's Edge Cafe.

Property was just perfect and Diana was just a phone call away and a wonderful host. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Yes, there is a train that runs through but it really wasn't a bother and the property attributes far outweighed the minimal amount of noise. We enjoyed it and would definitely come back again!

Great experience; property manager easy to communicate with. The house was very clean and had all the basics for my family. We spent the day in Deep Creek (about 45 min scenic drive) and another day at Yough Lake (close by).

The property was an oasis in the middle of a small town. Located where three rivers come together, the view was amazing. The property was impeccable, so clean and homie. Would definitely go back

We were mainly there to sleep. Great little place. Only downfalls are if the upstairs tenants stay up the foot traffic can get loud and the train. We love the train noise as it reminds us of home!

Attended a wedding at Paddler’s Lane. This property was less than 5 mins away. Clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Wish we’d had time to hang out on the deck over looking the river...looked lovely. Thank you!

We had an awesome weekend and this location made all our plans work out perfectly. If your interested in visiting Fallingwater, Ohiopyle, or want to bike the GAP you can't ask for a better place. The room/suite was clean and made you feel at home. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. It is close to the train tracks, so bring your noise cancelling headphones or use the ear plugs they provide for you. I've lived in NYC so it didn't bother me a bit.

Diana's place was wonderful! We stayed in the house with 3 bedrooms (there were 3 of us). Diana was there to greet us when we arrived and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The view was outstanding as we sat outside in the evening and the following morning. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and everything was obviously well-kept. We would absolutely stay there again.

I took my two daughters to Ohiopyle and Seven Springs last weekend. Diana's place was perfect for what we needed. I'll start by saying how generous and kind of a host Diana is. The deck is shared and she would always ask if we needed anything. Goes a long way for a dad outnumbered by two little girls! From beach towels to bringing them a few more DVD's, we were all very appreciative! We stayed upstairs in the cozy two bedroom apartment. Full kitchen helped provide most of our meals. We were able to get good sleep, even with the trains consistently passing by. I actually found it quite comforting at night. There's a secure place to lock up your bicycles and the house feels very safe in general. Parking is easy, yard is nice, the view from the deck is lovely as well. There's even a full bar on the deck that Diana shares should you have a larger party staying there. Confluence is a charming little town as well. Fuel up because there isn't an operating gas station near by. There's a grocery store with a good selection of produce, a pharmacy and whatever else you need. I'd happily go back again! The apartment was clean and well decorated. The deck was great and there was a view of the river. One downside was that the house is right on the road across from a train crossing. The walls are not well insulated so you hear the train and the upstairs neighbors all night. It is located near the bike path, so the convenience was fantastic. Overall, if you aren't too fussy, it's a really nice property.

The house is right up to the street so you can't miss it and you better not stumble on the way out. The only negative is the incessant trains barreling back and forth. This is not her fault and you actually get used to it. Slightly less negative is lack of local TV (we wanted to watch the DNC) and lack of strong Wi-Fi. This was a vacation so we didn't mind not being connected. The house is very comfortable, perfect for us two girls. The beds were not as soft as ours at home, but how often can you say the bed is just as comfortable as your own? Diana was a friendly host - brought us a grill to use, and lent us some knives. The one in the house was not going to cut Brussel sprouts! Very positive was the deck both in front and in back. We hung out in front mostly and watched the trains go by. But the view out the back is gorgeous - especially when the fog was lifting off the water. The little town square is a little slice of Americana - everything pretty much closes at 5. The house is very close to Ohiopyle which was the main reason we were there. Probably less than a 10 minute drive. Everything was so green and lush - great scenery and hiking.

We went to the Ohiopyle area for a weekend getaway. Confluence is a great area to base out of-- two cute restaurants, Lucky Dog and Rivers Edge. There are bike rentals right in town-- makes it easy to jump on the bike trail. There is a lake near confluence for swimming and boating. Drive to Ohiopyle takes about 20 minutes The property and unit at Turkeyfoot Inn was new-ish, recently renovated, decorated well and just all around very comfortable. So clean. The owner clearly takes good care of everything! (Only negative or thing to be aware-- has close proximity to loud train that passes through many times during day and night. Train itself doesn't disrupt but the whistle does! ) The view of the river on the deck is nice and was what sold us. B&B Feel expect more of a bed and breakfast feel. The deck is shared with 3 or 4 units and the owner. The owner is also very much around and involved in her guest's experience Some may like this B&B feel. It has charm. It is just less private than what some may expect though with VRBO -- where more often owners hand over keys and are done.
