We had a great stay on the lake. Sharon was very helpful through all stages from booking until we checked-out. It is a lovely house with great outdoor space on two decks. We had our family with ages 22 to 80, and we all enjoyed it. The marina is just a short walk as well as a pretty park on the shore. The swim beach is a short drive away. We would definitely try to return to this house for future trips.

We enjoyed this house tremendously and would recommend it for families or some couples planning to enjoy the area for awhile. It is in a quiet development with plenty of mature trees and wildlife around you. It was spotless when we arrived and you could host a large gathering easily with two generous decks and plenty of upscale kitchen amenities. Two very comfortable sitting areas, one on each level and a gas burning stove and large TV in both. My family of 5 was very comfortable here and the hosts were incredibly responsive and detailed in their preparations before our arrival. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this again!

Comfortable and spacious. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the proximity to the lake, running/hiking trails, and town. The neighborhood market was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the snow at this beautiful property located within walking distance of Lake Whatcom. We went last minute because of the need to cancel our holiday travel (Omicron + unvaccinated 3 year old). It snowed the night before we left. What a beautiful place to spend three nights in a winter wonderland! The host had shoveled the driveway and left the fireplaces on for our arrival. We were able to play in snow and snuggle up on the large sectional sofa in front of the gas fireplace for three days. Deer wandered through the neighborhood. It was idyllic. The host updated us via text and was flexible and kind. I was very sad to leave!

My wife and I needed a large home for 4 nights in order to have our adult children and their spouses together for an extended Thanksgiving holiday because we live too far away. This home was absolutely perfect in every way. Not only is the house gorgeous, but the beds were all super comfortable, as well as the couches and chairs. The kitchen table was huge which was a big deal for us because we like to play games as well as eat together. The huge plus for my wife was that the kitchen was stocked with everything she needed in order to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner. There were even super nice serving dishes available. We were able to text the owners with any questions and they always responded within minutes. We have rented a few homes for holidays and this was by far the nicest, cleanest, well stocked and most comfortable home we've had the pleasure of staying. There is even a separate Tv room downstairs which was nice when we had extended family with children come over for the day on Thanksgiving. I have nothing negative to say about our stay. It was as perfect as it gets! Thank you to Sharon and Shelly for making our stay so wonderful!

The property is located in Sudden Valley with great views of Lake Whatcom. There was some remodeling being done in the lower bathroom but other than that the house was pristine. The neighbor is a nosey Nelly and you will definitely run in to her on your stay. Overall, great experience and working with Sharon was great. She was very accommodating and wants to make sure you enjoy your stay while at the property.

For easy check in, check out, Sharon is very responsive. We needed a quiet place for our family. The house is on a beautiful neighborhood and is very comfortable.

Lovely spot with lots of comfy furniture indoor and out. Loved watching the deer family visit every morning.

The whole family loved the fire pit on the front deck, and the large living room and kitchen for visiting. Many days we saw multiple deer families in the backyard and neighbors' yards. A peaceful and friendly area. The downstairs bathroom is still just a shower, but e everything worked well and the location by the lake and golf course were great.

The house was more than we expected. Lots of indoor and outdoor space. Clean and well equipped. In a gorgeous lake neighborhood. Highly recommended!

The house is more than the description. Plenty of room for everyone, super clean, gorgeous neighborhood, deer visit everyday, huge front and back decks make the house even larger. LOVED our stay!! Would stay again without a doubt.

We have stayed two years in a row at Sharon and Shelly’s beautiful home in a great neighbourhood. We have enjoyed our stays thoroughly and found the response time to questions or needed assistance to be excellent.

This was a long weekend getaway to get better acquainted with the Bellingham/Fairhaven area. This home was quaint, well appointed, and very comfortable. It was a short drive from the Bellingham area (about 15 minutes) and was just far enough out of town to give a more relaxed vibe but close enough to go to the many conveniences of Bellingham, enable a visit the Western Washington University campus, and Fairhaven. There were many beautiful deer inhabiting the entire neighborhood, a tribute to the peacefulness of the area. We're looking forward to return trips!

Our family had the most incredible weekend staying at this gorgeous lake home to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation. The ceremony was just a short drive away, so the location is very convenient. And the decks are perfect for bbq grilling to enjoy with the whole family. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

We rented this home for a 3-generation Christmas, and needed a place big enough to accommodate families coming from Seattle, Vancouver, and the east coast. This fit the bill even better than we expected. The ground floor (rec room and large bedroom) was perfect for the young parents and their small baby. The main floor bedrooms were also perfect: master with ensuite bathroom for the grandparents, another large bedroom for the other young parents, and bunk bedroom for their preschooler. All beds were comfortable with lots of pillows and excellent bedding. The main living room was huge and the couch was big enough for 8 people to enjoy a movie or other times together. The kitchen, while small, had everything we needed to cook a Christmas dinner. (If you plan to cook, look in the cupboards before you shop, as many staples are available.) The towel supply was plentiful and they were very soft. Having a laundry room was very useful with the baby. And the gas fireplaces made the place cozy. The area was very interesting, quiet and beautiful, yet close to Bellingham. We enjoyed walks to the lake and marina, and a hike on one of the nearby trails. Even from inside the house, we could enjoy the cedars, as viewed from the high windows. And although not everyone appreciates deer in their garden, we enjoyed seeing them. The arrangements for the rental were smooth. All communication with the owners was prompt and helpful. We certainly recommend the property and the area, as it was good value and could be an enjoyable place for a big group to relax at any time of the year.

Very warm , comfortable ,well equipped home with space for everyone . The fires were on when we arrived so the place was cosy and inviting . There was a small container if milk in the fridge to get us started which was a nice thoughtful touch . The beds were all very comfortable and our grandsons enjoyed the bunk beds . There was plenty of room at the table for all 7 of us to eat together which we like to do ........enough dishes,and cutlery for everyone . The one thing we missed was a teapot , so would bring one fromhome another time ! But pots , pans ,baking trays , coffee pot were plentiful . It was great having the extra shower downstairs . Once the toilet is added downstairs that will be a real bonus . Dennis was available to help on the phone and very easy to deal with. We would definitely use this home again .

All of my family was really pleased with the house. The surrounding area was beautiful! Sharon and Shelley were very easy to work with. There was some remodeling going on with a bathroom in the first floor but I'm sure it will add to the comfort in the future. I would definitely stay at the Beautiful lake house again.

We were so happy to stay in this beautiful home during a family wedding near Bellingham. It was just the right mix of comfort and sophistication in gorgeous rooms. Our hosts welcomed us with notes and amenities that started our stay with ease. Everything in the house and from the instructions made sense and it was all easy to use. The hosts were attentive to our needs but relaxed and welcoming, which helped us relax on a busy weekend. We didn't use any of the outdoor spaces since it rained the whole time, but the furniture and the decks looked really nice. Thank goodness there was a large indoor dining table and big living room to let us gather and talk. It worked out perfectly. Thanks!
