The property was lovely, with beautiful hardwoods and details. The gardens were also lovely and I enjoyed looking at the variety of flowers and fauna! It is very conveniently located in walking distance from the Roslindale transit, the village and the Harvard Arboretum. The host and her family were very personable as well. I highly recommend the property!

Georgia was helpful and friendly host. The place is very clean, quiet and close to the commuter train stop (not to be confused with the Subway Orange line that goes as far as Forest Hills). The commuter line has reasonable weekend rates. We didn’t use the commuter line since we also wanted to use the subway in Boston and didn’t want to pay both passes so we elected to purchase a seven day Subway pass which is reasonably priced and gave us unlimited access. They have one day passes if you stay less time than we did. A pass is helpful so you don’t have to constantly buy a ticket every time you want to hop on and go somewhere. We walked from the house to the Orange line at Forest Hills through the Arboretum property during the day (20 min walk) and rode the bus back at night. Don’t forget to press the stop request button once you enter the town square area. The daily or weekly pass covers the bus also so no need to pay again just scan and ride. One rainy day we parked at Forest Hills 3.00 weekend and the day we left weekday 9.00. The place had everything. The only thing we could have used was detergent when we went to wash a sweatshirt that got stained. We wouldn’t have had the need to use the washer for a three night stay. We utilized the pull out couch for our 12 year old who said it was comfortable. We spent most our time in Boston but walked to the Green T Coffee shop and had delicious drinks and sandwiches. It was a pleasure staying here and would return.

Georgia's place exceeded our expectations ! We loved the cleanliness and the newness of her apartment, and how every detail to our comfort had been carefully thought out. There is nothing we would change about our stay, and we'd love to come back in the future.

Well appointed, spotless bathrooms, sparkling clean throughout, well lighted, just beautiful and very adequate for our four day stay. As others have noted, it’s a short walk to the T line or, as we used the commuter rail, at reasonable cost. Much better than trying to drive to Boston and trying to find parking. Georgia was very helpful, orienting us at check-in, and was available for anything we might have needed. We would stay again.

This is a beautiful rental in a fabulous location right near Roslindale Village, the Arnold Arboretum, and rail options. The place was very clean, nicely furnished, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms, beautiful wood floors. Quiet neighborhood, great dining options, Saturday Farmers Market. Communication with Georgia was great. Highly recommend!

The property was very clean and cozy. Everything we needed was in walking distance. Great location with an added perk of the Arboretum to take a refreshing walk. Very close to the train as well. Georgia was an awesome host and helped us learn the train system. I would recommend this VRBO.

We stayed here for 3 nights in June. Property is very clean and well maintained. Pics dont do justice to this property. Much better than the pics in the listing. Very near to the train station.overall had a very good stay and will recommend this property. Took me time to review as i was doing a lot of travel after this trip to Boston. Only issue is am still figuring why i was charged a heavy lodging fee by VRBO for this stay as they are unable to answer me the % lodging fee for this area

We visited Boston for the first time, and was mainly interested in sightseeing (especially colonial history). The host went above and beyond all expectations answering questions, making fantastic suggestions, and teaching us how to best use the public transportation. The commuter rail station is just a 2 minute walk from the property!

This property was everything we needed it to be and more. We loved everything about it from the location and size of the rental (we had 3 adults and 1 child) to the modern updated and newly renovated space. It was a simple walk to amazing restaurants and a quick trip in to the city via commuter rail. We were there for the marathon and it could not have been a better experience. The owner was amazing and helped us with any and all questions. When we go back we will hope to be able to get this property again!

The owner of the property was very friendly and kept her place spotless. Very homey and comfortable. It had everything we needed with plenty of room and parking was a nice bonus we didn’t expect. Exceeded our expectations!

The condo was clean and spacious in a beautiful quiet neighborhood on the south end of Arnold Arboretum.

Our family of adults were able to see so much of Boston in just 2 1/2 days! Georgia is a very helpful host! The apartment is great, but transportation in and out of Boston is necessary. We had a rental car, but driving in Boston is not fun. It was a 35-45 minute drive from the apartment and then you had to find parking. Public transportation is easily accessible, but you must then adhere to the schedule for the commuter rail or bus. It took about 20 minutes to get downtown on the commuter rail. We also used Uber with rates that varied from $15 to $23.

We enjoyed our stay very much....it is lovely inside, a comfortable space, beautiful kitchen, and a great location for getting around Boston on public transport. Georgia was very willing to help us understand how to get around as we had not been to Boston before. We would highly recommend staying here!

Very nice home away! Georgia met us on arrival, oriented us not only to home but transportation, events & activities. Lovely old neighborhood, close to train, easy to get into the city.

I visited Boston for a conference and wanted to spend a few extra days to experience the city. This spot was perfect. Ideal little space, perfect for a peaceful stay, and only a 30 minute drive to the hot spots. The apartment was spotless and VERY comfortable! Highly recommend!!

We checked in and Georgia met with us and toured the house. She let us know to just text her if we needed anything and was very helpful!

We had a wonderful time in Boston. We were out and about a lot, including a fun day trip to Rhode Island. This was a perfect place to refresh at night after our adventures. It was also large enough for our family of 4 to spread out! Clean, comfortable beds, great kitchen.

Great location! Very clean and updated. Pleasant, helpful, super nice host, updated kitchen and bathroom. 2 min walk to commuter train. 5 min walk to bus stop. Only 15 mins to downtown south Station on commuter rail. Loved this rental apartment house. 5 stars!! I could not ask for more. Safe & nest neighborhood. Great place for visiting downtown Boston doing all the tourist sites like Fenway and whale watching.
