Hosts where easy about checking in and treated us well.

I stayed here during Merlefest. The location was great, it was an easy drive back and forth. The house is charming, quiet and comfortable, and there are several good restaurants nearly. Omeiga was a great host, she made me feel welcome and was available if I needed her

This was our second stay and looking forward to the next. Property is very nice and convenient to everything and owners are very helpful and responsive.

We loved our stay in Elkin. Our hosts were very welcoming and surprised us with some goodies! The location is hidden from street view and very safe. We brought our parrots with us, and they loved the setting (looking out a window at birds/squirrels from their carry cages during the day). We enjoyed visiting local wineries and eating at many fine restaurants in the area. The place was spacious and clean. We hope to be back in the future.

Three fairly sophisticated winos came to Yadkin Valley in search of great wine and food. We found both. And the help and recommendations we received from this truly awesome host was essential in not only finding world class wine, but sleeping world class wine in a restful comfortable home afterwards. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening after a full day of tastings and our beds were like clouds, clean fluffy sheets and blankets. The house is small, quaint and mostly comfortable--some odd moments with stairs and showers that reminded us of old Europe. Fresh eclairs for breakfast w/coffee. Nice thick absorbent towels. Just a lot of attention to detail. Truly very comfortable, walking distance into downtown Elkin where we grazed our way through dining and breakfast options. It was perfect and easy. Thank you!!!

Enjoyed four nights at this cute cottage. The house was clean, owner was responsive. The area was very quiet. No problems.

We stayed 11 nights and it was perfect for our family.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Very friendly and accommodating owners. The home was nearly an exact duplicate of the one my great grandfather built. If we are ever back in the area, we will stay here!

Perfect place to stay in town close to everything

Owners are delightful & We all fell in love with OC (Outside cat)! It was great to find a place that had 2 queen size beds and each had attached baths. They were on separate floors as well which was nice. Really Appreciated the “treats” that were provided. The only thing we had difficulty w/was the tiny kitchen. Several of us are gourmet cooks & found it challenging to prep & prepare but we managed! I would suggest at least putting a keurig in the upstairs bedroom as it is such a spacious area and would help to not get in each others way in the kitchen. Would certainly rent again.

My wife and I travel quite frequently throughout the summer and love to check out different parts of the Carolinas. I have to say this was one of the most peaceful and relaxing weekends we have had. Omegia and Jeff were awesome and the house was so clean and comforting. My wife and I plan to return this summer.

We met Omegia upon arrival and it felt like we were old friends. The house is beautiful and very peaceful. Unfortunately, I had a fall and broke my leg the first day there walking around downtown so I spent the rest of the visit in the house but it was a beautiful atmosphere to stay in. We definitely plan to go back.

Hosts were great, parking was a bit tight for two large vehicles location was great- we could walk to town. Wasn’t as clean as we would’ve liked. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Very nice property. Its a home not a "vacation rental". Two sitting rooms, two bedrooms, plenty of space. Nice supplies, bathrooms, etc.

This property is very convenient to a lot of the wineries that are on the Winter Passport. The kitchen could have been better. We like to cook in at night and it was a tight space with a very small oven.

Pretty location down private driveway. Owners live next door for easy contact although we had no issues. Home is older but had everything we needed for our 4 day visit.

The house was very nice. We were very comfortable staying there. We especially appreciated that we were able to bring our dogs along, Quiet neighborhood. Close to lots of restaurants.

Very quaint cottage, well maintained. Easy walking / driving to trails, restaurants, music. Be sure to visit downtown!

The house was quite big and had all the amenities that you would want for a comfortable stay. Elkin is such a delightful town and our hosts were the epitome of southern hospitality. We look forward to returning.

My wife and I came to Elkin to get a taste of the Yadkin Valley wine industry. Our cottage in Elkin was perfectly located, with easy access to downtown, the mountain to sea trail, and several nice restaurants - 1/2 mile away- and easy access to more than a dozen nice wineries. Our hosts were extremely helpful and generous in their greeting. The cottage could easily sleep 6 people, so it was more than enough space for my wife and I - and our two dogs. I certainly recommend this cottage and give a thumbs up to Elkin: a great little town in a beautiful part of North Carolina.

We loved this sweet cottage! Everything was so clean! We especially appreciated the late night snacks left out for us after a long drive! The kitchen is a bit tight but everything works so no real problem. The bed in the downstairs bedroom was so comfortable! It was so kind of our hostess to cut some of her beautiful flowers for my sister whose husband is critically I’ll and for whom the family was rallying. Her kind gesture was so appreciated! We will certainly return!

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back! Host was amazing and the little details made our stay so comfortable. Both our human and furry babies really enjoyed it. The location can’t be beat! Thank you for everything! ♥️

Had a great time in Elkins and loved the cottage.

I was trying to plan a fun weekend for my girlfriend's birthday and we got more than we could have asked for! Ms. Omegia was so helpful from start to finish. First, she had delicious chocolate eclairs, a cheese platter and prosecco waiting for us when we showed up. She set us up with a masseuse for a couple's massage and facials and a wonderful caterer for a nice dinner for two. The house is so much bigger and nicer than the pictures really show. Everything is clean and comfortable. It was just the two of us and a dog, but I think it would be great for a family with numerous kids. One bedroom is on the main floor with master bath, but the entire upstairs is the second bedroom and full bath. It is so quaint up there and welcoming as well. We stayed pretty busy with different activities, we did not spend a lot of time there, but there is a living room and family room with so much space. The only thing that was a little tight is the kitchen, but it had everything we needed. There was even a nice firepit and wood set up for us. We wanted to use it, but rain the first night and plans the second changed things for us. It is very close to town and a place to drop in a kayak or canoe. Oh, and she set me up with Ratledge Florist maybe a half mile from the house. They had a tropical plant that is very unique in stock and available. I was absolutely stunned to get it and my lovely lady was so ecstatic to get it. She was speechless when we walked in and Ms. Dana got it from the back for her. If you are ever thinking of going to Elkin, I highly recommend you stay here. Ms. Omegia is an amazing hostess and altogether just a wonderful person! She really made me look like a rockstar with things she helped me plan and people she tied me into. I cannot thank her enough for the great and comfortable stay!
