Cet étonnant Tarpon Pond est parfaitement situé. Niché dans un paysage tropical luxuriant dans le quartier de Tarpon Pond, il offre une vue magnifique sur le 17ème fairway de Ocean Winds et le marais au-delà. Cerfs, oiseaux de rivage, aigrettes ... la faune vous entoure. Et pourtant, vous et vos invités êtes à moins de 2 km des magnifiques plages de Seabrook et de ses installations haut de gamme - piscines du Beach Club, restaurants au Pelican Nest ou Island House, ou golf sur les deux parcours de Seabrook.
Le chalet a été magnifiquement rénové. Entrez dans les salons / salles à manger combinés. Un plan d'étage ouvert avec des plafonds cathédrale aident à créer un espace de détente pour votre famille et vos amis. Le salon a de nouveaux meubles, une télévision haute définition avec câble / DVD et une belle cheminée. Le salon / salle à manger s'ouvre sur la pièce de soleil. Un mur de fenêtres donne sur le parcours de golf et permet à la lumière du soleil filtrée d'éclairer la maison. Il y a une table pour quatre - un endroit idéal pour boire un verre dans l’après-midi - un canapé et un autre téléviseur pouvant être utilisé pour des jeux, regarder des DVD et un magnétoscope. La petite terrasse a des chaises pour se détendre en plein air. La cuisine dispose de comptoirs Silestone et d'appareils plus récents. Il est entièrement équipé avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Il y a un barbecue à gaz pour votre usage aussi. Les draps et les serviettes sont fournis (veuillez apporter vos propres serviettes de plage).

Le loft sert de 4ème chambre et dispose de deux lits jumeaux

We like Seabrook because there is something for everyone. The Tarpon Pond 551 had a lovely view of the 17th Fairway. The porch room was our favorite gathering space for playing competitive board games at night. It got a bit noisy for the person attempting to sleep in the loft area however. The galley kitchen is adequate, but we really enjoy eating at the Pelican’s Nest. Delicious! Thank you for sharing your home to reunite and recreate with family!

Other beach locations. Loved the larger stretches of beach, especially at low tide! It was wonderful to have a couple bikes to use as we hadn’t brought ours. It was never a problem to find parking foe the beaches either, which was nice. Lovely, relaxing family time!

Unfortunately, when we first arrived the house had a strong odor of mold. After looking around, we could see mold in the registers, inside the bar door, behind the closet doors and under the furniture. There was also a leak at the master toilet with mold. Three out of five of us started having symptoms right away, like tearing eyes and a headache. After reporting it, we were lucky enough to have the Property Manager switch us to another house for 4 nights. We were hopeful that they could clean up the mold. It never got done so we had to move the rest of the stuff out of this house and the new place again for the last 3 nights. We ended up in ocean front/view properties so it wasn't so bad, but much more of our vacation was centered around moving and mold discussions than we would have preferred. The last condo had mold too but not as much! We just cleaned as much off as we could off the furniture. Never had so many mold incidents on a vacation!

Quiet small home 15’ walking to beach
Simple vacation home 0.8 miles from the beach, and under magnificent old oak trees. 4 kids beds (mattresses may not be perfect for adults) and 2 queens.
Three old bikes available (missing tool kit though). Good place for relaxing days at the beach. Seabrook is an outstanding island, and waters rich in wildlife.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was nicely decorated and very clean. Beds were comfortable. My only complaint is that there was only one functioning beach chair.

Combined family vacation
My parents and nephew joined us for our annual trip to Seabrook Island this year. The Tarpon Pond cottage was beautifully decorated and got the seven of us with plenty of room for all. The location and view were wonderful as well, but the real gem is the inclusion of the amenity cards. It was fantastic to be able to access the Island Club pool, restaurants, and beach access each day. You really didn't even need to leave the island! It was a fantastic vacation!

The house is in a great location and big enough for 2 small families. This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at this property in the last 5 Seabrook trips...I definitely recommend it!

Wonderful reunion with family and friends
We really enjoyed the stay at this home! We had friends and family coming and going, each which required a gate pass to get on the island. One friend did not have a pass so the gate agent give me a call and I gave a verbal confirmation-- they were very accommodating. Loved the free bikes included! Someone rode a bike almost every day while we were there. Very charming place.

Wonderful cottage except our little friends :/
The cottage is beautifully decorated! It’s the perfect size for a small family. Unfortunately, in the four nights we stayed we had 5 LARGE roaches!!! One of my friends left because she didn’t feel comfortable having her baby there. However, I called property management and they had someone out to spray within a few hours! We never saw another one.

Great Stay!
This was perfect for our family vacation for 5 people (3 adults and 2 boys - ages 6 and 9). There was plenty of room... the beds in the loft went unused. The glassed-in sun room with the additional TV allowed the boys to watch something while the adults watched something else and turned into a great play space for them.
The washer and dryer, once we found them under the house :) seemed new and were full sized (different than other homes we have rented). With little kids this was a huge plus! We also made use of the bikes as well, which I don't recall seeing on the description, so that was a nice surprise. They were older but worked for our needs to get to and from the beach for morning runs/walks.
This was our 4th year in Seabrook and our 2nd year renting a Tarpon Cottage... love their layout and plenty of space.

The house is dirty and has bugs, but the owner is accommodating.
The house was dirty. It needs a deep clean. The furniture had stains and there was pet hair everywhere. Then, there was a bug infestation. Bugs crawled on us in the bed. We had to call the owner and I will say that she was very accommodating. She compensated us appropriately and sent someone in to clean (which didn't really do anything) and she sent an exterminator. If the place was bug free and had a deep clean, I would stay there again, but with the condition of it right now, I would not visit again.
